Hahaha nicht übel. Aber ich stehe zu meiner Aussage: CVs können ganz einfach gebalanced werden. Nur halt nicht so (durch Paniknerfs - gefordert von den CV Hatern)

Dann sollte das Schraubendrehen evtl etwas weniger unausgegoren vonstattengehen. Dieser AA Change ist das nächste absehbare Disaster. Getreu dem Motto: offenen Auges gegen die Wand. Hat das irgendjemand getestet und war der Meinung dass es gut ist? Das ist wieder ein Schnellschuss, der das Problem nicht löst aber 3 neue schafft !

Which is where a lot of people including myself disagree. And all “evidence” doesn’t seem to be too convincing, no? More kills? Sure, inherent to the class’ ability to strike low HP targets behind the lines. Doesn’t make it OP. Same with other things. Individual ships? Yes most certainly like Big E (which isn’t a peculiarity of the CV class). But across the board? No. Geographically yes. To be seen if a single strike goes through. If not - it’s finally 100% monkey-proof. And even if - the whole squadron I’ll still be shot down. ?

I don’t remember that this was WG’s view on them. They said CVs were able to exercise excessive influence on a battle which was more a result of their various capabilities and high alpha rather than straight OPness. But that point is moot now anyways I guess. The change takes away some options to play with squadron health and litmits the options a CV has further. Plus it is a harsh buff to AA. Now all you need to do is park your shi* behind an island an drink coffee. The AI does the rest. Good game design?

Except they are not. You keep claiming this but there is no supporting evidence. We had that on the other thread the differences in numbers are marginal if at all. WG doesn’t nerf CVs because of actual reasons but because of the feeeeeling of the haters. And that is a problem - catering for the people who refuse to accept the change. This behaviour brought us many changes which dumbed down the game. Here is another one
