You mean slingshot I guess? As said, I find it too punishing at the moment - mind you that there are not only unicum players playing the game. Who knows maybe the changed AA is fine once WG increases HP of the planes or reduces AA power?

None or close to none against an isolated ship with weak AA (which is the equivalent to the famous broadside cruiser in from of a BB) - while it would be ok to have suffer against strong AA ships.

Potentially yes. But in my opinion this is easier post-rework as the player is directly with his squadron - and it’s only one. So that shouldn’t be too hard really

Not exactly. WG went too far to re other side (of strong AA) in my opinion. Now attacks are too punishing

I hope they go HP. Regeneration leads to dumb waves of huge losses = very frustrating

Not why - why not ? All WG has to do is make Ships not feel helpless while retaining the CVs ability to strike at varying costs. Shouldn’t be too hard, no?

Da keine alternativen Vorschläge gekommen sind stelle ich nun formal den französischen Vorschlag zur Wahl: Tonnage für Flugzeugträger = Nationenfaktor* x 20.000 ts STD + Option bis zu 35.000 ts STD aus der Großkampfschifftonnage zu übertragen Ein Flugzeugträger wird definiert als ein Flugdeckschiff, dessen primäre Aufgabe es ist, Flugzeuge zu starten und zu landen. Die maximale Verdrängung dieser Schiffe beträgt 27.000 ts STD, ihre maximale Armierung 15cm / 6". - striking power - more or less ok, only frequency of strikes I would tweak if needed plus maybe consider whether rockets are fine - less AA - less plane numbers In a nutshell I would punish plane losses harder but give players with skill the tools to mitigate losses. The CV should be mindful of losses and not be able to strike blindly everything but should also have a way to conserve his planes if playing well.

I think “sitting back and strike without risk” is only valid to a limited extend. Mind you that planes are also your (second) avatar which are at extraordinary risk. If you ask me how Balance would look like it would be a balanced state between: - plane striking power (alpha + time to strike + number of attacks per sortie) - reliability of AA (ships shouldn’t “feel” helpless) - plane availability (=survivability + numbers + regeneration) Since 0.8.0 there was constantly inbalances within this triangle

And I refuse to agree that a equally frustrating state for all participants is a favourable outcome. I am convinced that an enjoyable state for all can be established

He is certainly better off on the igno list. Saves some valuable space on screen (stopped reading these text walls a while ago anyway as these were not contributing to a fruitful discussion unfortunately). However - good to see WG plans for a hotfix for next week. Let’s see if this can be fixed (which I still believe is possible).

Vor allem halt nicht so einen unausgegorenen Mist. Wenn man so einen Change in einer Nacht-und-Nebel Aktion reindrückt muss man allerwenigstens die AA Werte entsprechend herunterdrehen oder den Fliegern mehr HP geben. Aber das ist nicht mal eben so gemacht - sonst bekommt man halt so ein besch*** Ergbnis wie gestern und heute gesehen. Unprofessional

AA buff breaks CV game completely --> TIME FOR A HOTFIX and reduce AA by 50% to make CVs playable or refund prem time and CVs please
