Even if WG would look at it like this (which is at least questionable) it won’t stop them from shelling out further prem carriers. I think we can count on that. As for alternative concept lines ... yea probably somewhere in the same department as Tone

Well they fixed the spotting bug and just recently reintroduced it properly. I think at the moment WG’s appetite for further messing with the CV balance isn’t huge.

Well - why more? Essentially they are saying they keep a bug that helps AA instead of fixing it.

Essentially they broke the reduction of overlapping constant DPS auras but won’t fix it because they are happy with the balance Nevertheless. At least they could easily bring it back if needed

Howdy folks, it’s been a while. I really like Viribus Unitis but I noticed quite a bit of Flak for WG’s decision to put her into T5. Now - the HP pool is low but apart from that I like Dreadnoughts to be mixed in “normal” tiers rather than only remain at T3. What do you guys think? Is there room for further dreadnoughts and where do we like to see them? All tiers or exclusively very low tier?

All WW2 refit BS. Not proper Dreadnoughts. That era ended with the WNT pretty much. Point is more the outfit state of the early 1920s. Meaning almost no AA. Ashitaka is a nice example of Ships we should see more of. VU is a T4.5 really - same as Kaiser. You can argue in either direction if you want So? Fire volume is what counts not turret placement A historical König would be great as well. But that’s work to do. Kaiser’s model is already there so that could be done easy and quick

Hi Folks, playing Viribus Unitis I was wondering why KÖNIG ALBERT Needs to be at T3. Historically a Kaiser Class is certainly as powerful as a Tegethoff class - but that aside I feel KÖNIG ALBERT is at the wrong Tier. I rarely Play T3 and would like to Play her more - even worse T3 doesn't Count for directives and such and is usually more of a playground for newbies. Hence my proposal: Move her to Tier 5 Give her a more historical 20-22 sec Reload Give her 16.5km Firing Range EDIT: ...Sigma -> 2.0? and if that isn't enough make the Secondaries 6km base range with Massa-Accuracy (I know a bit of "Box o' Gimmicks but hey - would be fun, no?) Voilà! A rebalanced ship to put back in store, make it useful for missions & directives and let her out of the totally inappropriate T3 Slot! (Before you ask: yes WG got some Flak for the Gulio Cesare testing at T6 - however, Things are different for a T3 ship in my opinion!) And finally: JUST LOOK AT HER

I can absolutely agree with all your general points on trust and stability for premium ships! I think driver for this discussion was the wish to have a proper dreadnought at a useable tier - like Viribus Unites is. I am one of the few people enjoying her where she is - same for Ashitaka btw. I love Dreadnoughts to be in the mid of the action - not on the side at T3. However I understand people’s reservations about changing existing premium ships very well. Maybe WG could add a slightly altered sister ship at T5 instead, either “KAISERIN” with the proposed values and the tubular foremast these ships started to receive late in the war to justify a higher range and differentiate visually - OR - make a historical “KRONPRINZ” with fast reload making up for the lack of (fictional) AA at T5.
