This is an interesting discussion. This year the game didn’t get much remarkable content yet as far as I can remember apart from the CV rework (maybe French DDs are somewhat interesting at least but that was it, no?). Question though would be: how is a “normal” CV supposed to play against one of your AS CVs?

Der nächste interessante Zeitpunkt ist tatsächlich 1930. Planungen darüberhinaus für die weiteren Jahre sind dann natürlich auch spannend aber als nächstes würde ich gern den Snapshot 1930 festhalten :-)

Soweit verstanden - Refits für die 10 15“ Eimer kann ich dann gern so nehmen. Das Thema Nelson - wäre da nicht eine kleine Designrunde sinnvoll um mal zu schauen, was man mit 35.000ts sonst noch so anstellen könnte?

Each of those have one carrier and a couple of designs. All of them would work. But you are forgetting one important truth: Russian Carriers would have been among the strongest had they been considered, planned, designed and built

Habe ich jetzt kein Problem mit. Bräuchte du die nicht mehr? Wegen deiner Flottenplanung 1930 inklusive der ganzen Träger - ich muss da mal mit der Tonnage etwas nachrechnen :-) Ansonsten würde ich das aber so auf Seite 1 in deiner Sektion vorsehen mit Platzhaltern. Dann müssen wir mal schauen, wie wir das mit den Bildern machen. PS: wegen der Trägerflugzeuge und Marineflieger - mein Plan ist es, die landgestützten Luftstreitkräfte auf Seite 1 sozusagen als „Rahmen“ zu dokumentieren so dass ihr euch bei der Entwicklung der maritimen Flieger passend dazu austoben könnt. Bin aber noch nicht dazu gekommen

Und wie wir wissen sind seine Skizzen nicht auf dem gleichen Detaillevel wie die der zuständigen Ämter (auch wenn ihn das natürlich nicht davon abhält, seine Skizzen weiterzupinseln...) PS: ungarische Helgolands...

Interessant :-) Ich rede auch nicht da rein. Nur ein paar Gedanken: on ein Schiff 1930 veraltet ist hängt auch maßgeblich daran, was du 1930 als potentielle Gegner erwartest. Wenn niemand neue Schiffe hat wäre das z.B. weniger ein Problem. Und zweitens finde ich den Italo-Ansatz für die VU interessant. Er hat sich zwar in der Realität als gigantischer Fehlschlag entpuppt aber ich bin echt neugierig, was auf deiner VU wird :-) @Walther_K_Nehring wenn ihr ihr diskutiert haben alle etwas davon :-)

It should be well known by now that HE is OP, Torpedos are OP, CVs are OP, and in general it’s all unrealistic that small ships can fight big ships.... So yea. Following this original poster’s line of thoughts it seem as to be the best solution to go with Battleships only / single class game

I would say US are easier to play (more plane HP, good and easy HE DBs, crazy RFs) but Japanese offer greater potential (AP bombs, Torps). RN is a bit behind apparently. And: at T8 we have Easy E as complete outlier. She is just OP compared to any other CV.
