  1. Ich finde der Rumpf sieht super aus! Der Gesamteindruck passt auf alle Fälle super zum erdachten Design. Bin sehr gespannt wie es weitergeht! Das Ding reichen wir da schön ein und dann kann WG schön als T6er ins Spiel bringen!
  2. A CV is simply not shutting down anyone. It may be annoying to be attacked but no surface vessel is shut down by the CV.

  4. Ah you mean on spotting? They ran a series of sand box tests with different spotting settings some month ago. But that is not what I meant - S_O mentioned on one his most recent Q&As that they tested CVs only spot for the minimal. And that the result was extremely poor. Read this on the NA Forum but could not find it when I tried to look it up some minutes ago. I’m case I find it I let you know

  6. Agree that Battlestations - although quite old by now - did a much better job there. In fact it was an amazing game. Now I am amazed about this degree of mental flexibility (slow clap). CVs can press a button to prevent you from attacking? Just stahp already Just because you find it “inconvenient” doesn’t mean it is a “hard counter”. You are on purpose comparing apples to oranges here to try to bend stuff to fit your story.
  7. Of course the shouldn’t. But: are you really trying to indicate that you think CVs hard counter anything? Can other classes move? Can other classes attack the enemy? Can other classes play the objective? ...Are you pulling my leg? That aside this really feels repetitive. Haven’t we been going trough this a couple of times? Hosho ans Langley should be T5 really.
  8. Nope it is literally the worst possible answer. In fact I wouldn’t even call it an “answer”. Even the famous “CV only spot for minimap” is garbage. It was tested and found to be as terrible as this idea suggests. So no - this is a dead horse to beat You are suggesting a “hard counter” which is contradicting WOWS entirely. What it means is: once an AA cruiser is in the game the CV doesn’t need to play anymore. You will probably see the problem with that yourself - hence why WG will not implement hard counters. If you are concerned about the ribbons I am sure this can be changed. I never cared about these but if is important for you feel free to suggest that. Shouldn’t be an issue to change it to “Surface vessel spotting” Hey! You are having a point here that WG indeed aims for shorter matches as it maximizes earnings. Do you only want to display poor manners or is there a point you try to make? Your “scientific evidence” (which I honestly didn’t bother cross checking) shows a comparable damage average of the CV class to the BB class. It’s probably inflated - but regardless. The CV does it’s damage over the full time of the match whereas a BB has an average - smaller - lifespan per Match. Meaning it’s average damage per time is still higher whereas the CV’s damage output is balanced against (almost) the full match duration. Doesn’t look outraging really as you try to make it look like

  11. Your “comments” don’t seem to be as clear as you may think. Apart from the HP thing (where I don’t even disagree) I haven’t seen much. But as it is very well possible I am missing things in the large amount of replies - I am politely asking you to point out your key suggestions. Unless you are not interested in a constructive discussion of course - which I am sure is not the case
  12. Such as? Ok no you got me confused. Are you saying the maximum damage potential should be the opposite of the survival rate? Have you even considered that CV strikes are already balanced with their survival rate in mind? Have you considers that a fully successful torpedo run gives about as much damage as some sloppy lazy BB pens to the upper belt or superstructure? Have you considered that CVs are useless in short matches as they are balanced against a typical full time match? Excuse me but again - that is a contradiction (still - and that is no insult) Nothing personal but I struggle to understand your problem. Have you played CVs yourself and did you find it equally infuriating from the other end?

  14. That is a contradiction in itself. Either it is a pure damage farming class or it is not. Please decide what you want to parrot here. Now I am curious what you are basing this scientific estimation on? 20k damage sounds perfectly balanced when everyone else is doing 80-100k. But I am sure your train of thoughts can be explained (with a good chunk of DD-Mafia-Booze maybe)...? But I don’t want to jump to conclusions - please explain this to us Nope - “I don’t know that this is the case” dude. I am just not one of those selfish “I don’t want any class to interfere with my selfish play”- dudes. I like all classes equally and don’t like the amount of dishonesty that’s displayed here to protect the one or other stuff.
  15. Your opinion-leader’s opinion is that CVs are ONLY damage dealers on a damage race. So it would make a whole lot f sense to measure damage averages. CV damage is already balanced based on the fact they survive to the end. Otherwise damage would be much higher. Sounds good to you?
  16. Last time we had this discussion the CV’s average damage was right between cruisers and Battleship averages. But I happily check maplesyrup if I have some spare time in the hotel tonight. Not sure what your numbers are (timeframe, included/excluded stuff) but what am I supposed to see here? Enterprise finally overperforms also statistically - and we know she’s OP. I see CVs mixed in with BBs damage-wise but not overly alarming. Old Shokaku has 10k better average than new one. All this isn’t surprising. And remember - even small changes make a difference. E.g. plane speed. So in case WG still feels the averages are too high they could further fine-tune easily. However I doubt anyone apart from your valued self will find the numbers alarming much. Apart from Enterprise - which is too late to fix really. See - that is what I want too. But usually that won’t be achieved by: “I only want my stuff and everyone else should get removed!” CVs are different in that sense that you control two avatars. The one that is put at risk is the one you interact with the environment mostly. It’s been said and calculated everything around plane regeneration and how much that makes a difference to the old large hangar sizes. So I won’t repeat that. And as you already know I would have done that part different anyway. But it isn’t the end of the world either
  17. And you continue twisting words. But hey - why not. See - you have more Enterprise games than a lot of players totals. Even if the ship would be garbage you would rock by now. But on top it’s probably one of the most OP ships in the game. It is clear you are basing your views on this experience. And this has nothing to do other absolute numbers although nice try to twist that as well. Have you made any serious points to defend? If so apologies - I obviously missed that. Could be related to the very distracting nature of your posts but please feel free to point out what you want to discuss. (never give up Barney!)

  19. Sorry due but it’s you who doesn’t get it. Yourself and two to three other - though very vocal - dudes. That aside - what exactly are you trying to tell me with this...? Oh boy... ok. Again, what are you trying to tell me........? It is remarkable that out of all the CV haters it is you to speak about honesty. But you made me really curious now - what makes you think I am dishonest? Exactly. It’s like playing 10k games in Smolensk to claim “CLs are OP! Nerf all.” Very selective at best - or even dishonest. All in all I feel it’s been said all really.
  20. Dude that’s no shutdown. That would be like saying BBs in A-line are shut down because of muh-torps, muh-HE, muh-everything.. Sorry dude but no. There is no shutdown in the game really at the moment. And speaking of shutdowns: @El2aZeR - somewhere above you tried to twist my statement about shutdowns around. Something like “if completely misplayed a shutdown is fine”. Either way - nobody talks about “completely misplaying” - so no - a game like this should certainly avoid shutdowns. I have the feeling you try to make WOWS an ESport title - which would be miles off the target group and end up in a complete cluster- Wasn’t you one of the guys complaining that’s wG won’t listen to your holy words? If they would the game (which is already niche) would end up as a niche-niche product for a handful of hardcore geeks. If that’s the ambition I leave up to you. Btw. I have seen this once. - Act of Aggression was a promising RTS title but the developers ended up listening too much to some few hardcore gamers making the game unnecessarily clumsy and complicated with loads of stuff nobody needed. It wasn’t the only problem but the game was essentially dead on arrival.

  22. Err no. I thought I typed that before? “Autowin AA” is a shutdown - “a strike gets through” isn’t. Really that hard to follow? Guess why WG toned down the alpha that drastically? Please see above. Yes - echoing what others say is a popular thing here - and the biggest problem. It’s called “parroting” btw. And no - it isn’t. It exists everywhere in the game. Shooting over cover, shooting with ranger advantage, torping from stealth. Not every encounter is an open 1 on 1. Honestly - that is exactly how I would have done it. But than the questionable “my AI melts my squadron while I attack” wouldn’t work anymore
  23. That is probably why everyone now switched to use “Sturmgewehrs”. But saying CVs rival the strongest points of all classes is a very vague statement. There are Cruisers with much more average damage than CVs. You are too binary here. There are some issues around balance (CVs and others) but none of what you described What do you mean? In case I wasn’t clear: autowin AA means a complete shut down of the CV. Meaning he isn’t part of the game at all. What we have now is trading to varying costs which is exactly what it should be in a game. Shutdowns and autowins are idiotic game design and any half decent designer will avoid it. Even if some die-hard moaners demand it for months
