Hier muss ich dir ausnahmsweise mal zustimmen. Verstehe das ehrlich gesagt auch nicht. Wenn man mehr Leuten Zugang geben möchte könnte man die Bronze Liga ja im Low / Mid Tier machen T5 oder T6 Aber wer nimmt denn ein T8 Schiff wenn er im Ranked gegen T9s antreten muss.

Well whatever they wanted to do with this poor ship - it did not work out at all If they would allow modding it would solve parts of the issues though. It is possible to export models into Blender but as far as I know there is no way back into the game yet

What a complete bull The German Strategy was to lure out parts of the Grand Fleet and destroy pieces of it to achieve parity in numbers. The RN had about twice as many ships at the time. When the whole grand fleet showed up at Jutland it came as a surprise. Regardless of that obvious disadvantage the High Seas Fleet pulled off a tactical victory and disengaged when the odds got worse - superbly executed by the way. The direct duels went mostly in favour of the German ships. The downside of the battle was that the tactical victory wasn’t significant enough to break the blockade and to end the starving in the continent. But I stop the OT now

The story of German Torpedoboats is a quite mixed and partially troubled one. For a long time the focus was on small vessels with the sole purpose of torping big ships in daring large scale attacks. For the most part these ships ended up relatively small - sometimes to a degree that they ended up not Sea worthy enough (eg Torpedoboat 1911 - called “Lans-Krüppel“ which was supposed to indicate that these boats were just bad in any sorts of sea). That said - German Torpedoboats got bigger after Jutland towards the end of WW1 as the small boats lacked the versatility of the British destroyers and were inferior in gunnery duels. After the war the Germans built 12 follow ups to the Torpedoboat design of 1916 (mob type) which became the TB 1923/24. These were quite capable boats for their small size but still a bit too specialized in torpedo attacks which became more and more unlikely given the changed strategic situation. Most navies needed multi-purpose workhorses and these ships lacked a bit versatility. Some of the following torpedo boat designs tried to stay below the restrictions of the arms treaties of the time by not exceeding 600 tons which is obviously too small for a torpedo boat or destroyer. The Torpedoboats in the 1930s were maybe not stellar - agree on that part and the FTB39 / T-22 Type - although a reasonable design - was underpowered and a bit light on the artillery. But that was partially because the power plant was initially intended for a smaller unit

These are no „Flottentorpedoboote“ (which were for the most part very good - except the later ones such as the FTBs 1939 (which we have in game as T-22) but “Spähkreuzers” which are essentially oversized ocean-going destroyers.

In essence WG needs to make the guns pretty good to compensate for lack of agility and concealment. I think such concept can work but it needs very good guns and a decent survivability against DD. Regarding your example of only one DD - this is always an issue considering the very different specializations already present. But less DDs means more cruisers and other ships - essentially you can still work around that.

Liebes WG Team! Ich bin ein großer Fan der Deutschen Schlachtkreuzer aus der Zeit des 1. WK. Dass die PEF ins Spiel kam war damals großartig — auch wenn sie spielstilmässig evtl. nicht jeden Geschmack getroffen hat. Aber vor allem äußerlich hat sie auch wieder die „what–if“ Kelle abbekommen. Nun wäre es aber sehr einfach, aus diesem Schiff ohne großen Aufwand ein absolut — äußerlich — fantastisches Schiff für Fans dieser Gattung zu machen und hier ist wie: Mein Request: bitte baut für die Prinz Eitel Friedrich eine Custom Camo, die diese Schornsteinkappen und den Atlantikbug entfernt (und der Rest kann so bleiben)! Aus meiner Sicht können die Boni ebenfalls bleiben wie sie sind — es geht mir hier vor allem um die Optik! Etwa so: Tagging @Crysantos / @MrConway / @Sehales :–) EDIT:

1) CV rework was much need. Didn’t solve all the issues but much better than what he had before regardless 2) skill rework is a cheap cash grab, you will find very few people who appreciate their choices in viable builds being reduced, 19 pt captains devalued and the need to spend more on retraining the coming month

Sure and I agree a refit on Bayern is a reasonable assumption. But also that refit looks terrible and doesn’t make much sense. But Kaiser had the outdated en-echelon gun layout and small 30cm guns. Nobody in their right minds would have EVER rebuilt these!! Mind you a Refit costs about 30-50% of a new fast Battleship. Nonsense. Konig with the original bow would already fine for the most part. Heck even the Queen Elizabeth which git entirely rebuilt did not receive a new bow! Neither did the Kongos or the Fusos!

Jein - WG betreibt schon eine gewisse Bestandspflege und überarbeitet did Modelle und Karten immer wieder optisch. Im Fall der genannten Patienten gäbe es allerdings zwei größere Hindernisse: 1) wäre es eine etwas größere Sache aus den dampfenden Haufen ein Schiff zu zaubern und 2) fängt WG erst bei „9“ an zu zählen (und zählt auch nur bis „10“). Da kommt die „4“ leider nicht vor Aber nötig ist es allemal! Und mit den neueren Linien sieht es ja auch ein kleines bisschen besser aus. Also die Conte di Cavour sieht wenigstens richtig TOPP aus!!!

I am ok with them receiving something. At least T5 in a limited form and a bit more at T6. My issues: Kaiser wouldn’t need a refit AT ALL in my opinion. If you want you could have added a couple of auto cannons against planes similar to what the Turkish navy did with Yavuz. She had 40 (!) auto cannons in the 1940s. But seriously, who would refit an out dated ship like Kaiser? And the refit doesn’t make any sense on top. Why a new bow? The ships sailed around the world through all the oceans before the Great War, apparently without a big issue. Most importantly: the refit looks like steaming horse-pile - it still triggers me. It contains a absurd mix of randomly combines elements such as 1940 range finders and funnel caps to make it look WW2ish but from a design perspective the package is beyond nonsense. They should have left her basically roughly in a 1918 state - same as Gangut. So the only positive I can say about this is that WG seemed to have learned from that debacle. König’s refit looks half-reasonable when Stock but the bow of the upgraded hull is again garbage Bayern’s refit is plain terrible and makes no sense whatsoever. We have been joking around on another thread and came up with more reasonable refits in almost no time.
