ST, Naval Training Center, free Premium Consumables and improvement of the matchmaker.

I think you missunderstood me. That your level 3 ship will be downrated for level 1 for CW is how I understood the statement from WG. The issue is, if you play with level 3 ships, you can do things you can't do with level 1s - or at least not as well. So when being downrated to level 1 in a CW, you will be at a disadvantage against a player who plays with level 1s all the time. So you need a second account to keep in practice with level 1. Allthough, that's in my mind a rather minor problem. There are far bigger ones other have allready ben pointed out. -

Just stating my opinion to increase the number of players that said NO. This training room is most likely the worst idea I ever heard from WG - and this is the company that came up (afaik) with the idea of premium amo... Giving highly experienced players additional material advantages over less experienced ones spells doom for balance and will turn away non-hard core players. I have no issue with keeping passionate long-time players on board (no pun intended) by giving them additional things to play - and grind - for, but not at the expense of balance and enjoyment for other players. Here is another problem: I read that for CWs, the cap will be tier 1 rerolls. that means, a CW player who has for example tier 3 rerolls, will have to open and grind out a second account to tier 1 just so they can play and train at this level, as otherwise they would not be accustomed to the "limitations" of tier 1s when going into CW. -
Hey, I've ben dipping my toes in this game a little to see if it's something I want to invest more time into. Like when I startet WoT years ago and begann on the british medium tanks, here I started with the british cruisers (and since then I heard that they are not cosiderd the most newbie-friendly line to start with). Might go with the american cruisers for a while. We'll see. My question is - as the title sugests - are there a few videos or other tutorials (preferably in english or german) out that would be worth watching/reading to get a better idea of what I'm suposed to do and to shorten the learning curve (for example, my gunnery sucks hard). I supose I could just go search for them, but given my lack of knowledge, I would find it impossible to tell valid information appart from the organic fertilizer. So a few pointers would be apreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answers. Haven't watched all those vids yet and I'm not sure I will, but it gives me an idea where to look. Agreed. I think one of the vids did help a bit with some details on leading, but yea, experience will be the key. And, tunnelvisioning is a bit of an issue for me, not just in this game. Bad habits are hard to train out... Good point. Wasn't planing on racing up on line anyway. I got the american and german T3 cruiser, the british T4, a tin can and a battleship. I'm going to ignore the carriers for now though. While I can see the fun in destroyers, it's the cruisers that interest me the most atm. O-kay... I haven't spent any, and wasn't realy planing to until I had some more play time to descide if it's worth it anyway, but that sounds ominous...
