Check if your system temps when this problem occurs. Overheating issues? Latest drivers installed for your graphics card(s)? Are you starting the game using a dedicated graphics card or an onboard GPU (for example Intel HD 4000)? (right click WoWs icon to check) What are your system specs? Good luck getting this problem fixed Captain. Still experiencing the problem? Feel free to reply. We, the community, are here to help. -
Every patch/update from WG seems to break more than it fixes. Fix one problem, get X amount of new problems for free....

And still.... World of Warships is not a simulation game, and never will be.

That's Wargaming EU logic i guess... Ah well, atleast now it has been announced a few days before it is going to implemented/changed. The Ranked Battles Season 3 announcement, was posted on the World of Warships Portal a few days after Season 3 was started.... On the Wargaming RU World of Warships Portal, that same announcement was posted a week before the start of Season 3. I still find it remarkable how big the differences are between the various Wargaming World of Warships Portals/Forums/Servers and Premium Shops.

Welcome Captain!

Hmmm i wonder....... 1. A new player has a problem 2. He/she opens a topic on the forum with his/her question 3. Nobody replies and/or likes that topic 4. That topic will become invisible in a few hours/days because other topics, that do receive a "like", will stay more visible. How would that be more player friendly and/or be motivating for people to post/reply questions/answers on the forum? The future: 1. Topics about, for example, people complaining about the Premium Shop Bundles will receive lots of "likes". 2. New players won't be using the forums because their topics/questions are more likely not going to have useful replies and/or "likes" therefore become invisible. My short opinion: The new system will not improve the forum/community.

That's why WG should collect player feedback about the new upcoming forum changes, before they go live. From what i have seen in the previous replies from the community, the majority is not happy with the upcoming forum changes. I know...... it would be silly to think Wargaming actually cares about feedback from the community. The whole Premium Shop Bundles drama, is the perfect example. Just change things, and pray the community likes it, is much easier.... Is the new system really going to improve the forum quality? Will the forum be more inviting for new players and/or will players be more active on the forum? Are trolls suddenly going to be nice/friendly posters with useful posts/replies? Would preventing the recent creditcard/paypal scam/spam topics not be something that should have a higher priority?

Reinstalling windows means reinstalling the games means all is gone?
MaxxyNL replied to Martin_vanvuuren's topic in Newcomers' Section
It was just a legit question..... You say you don't see your (old) nick here on the forum(s). I am not making fun of you, but are you 100% sure you were playing on the EU server before, not on the NA server? That would explain why you cannot find your (old) nick here on the forum(s) and/or why your login credentials are not working on the EU server. Try this. Go to http://worldofwarships.com/ and use your (old) login credentials to login on the NA WoWs Portal. If you can login with the email/pass you used with your (old) nick, big chance you were playing WoWs on the NA server. If that is the case, you have to download the NA game client or maybe you can try to contact Wargaming Support. NA Customer Support: https://na.wargaming.net/support/ EU Customer Support: https://eu.wargaming.net/support/ Not 100% sure if this alternative method still works, but instead of having to download/install the NA game client, you could also try this method. I recommend Notepad++ for editing text/xml files. More info on Notepad++: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ (free to use / safe / no spyware and adware) Warning! Make a backup of the file(s) you are going to edit!! How to change server and play WoWs on all servers (EU, NA, RU, Asia) using one game client (safe link to topic here on the forum) I wish you good luck getting this problem fixed. And again, it is and was not my intention to make fun of you, i am only trying to help. If you still experience problems and or have further questions, feel free to reply here and/or open a new topic. We, the community, are always here to help you find an answer or solution for your questions/problems. PS: You can also try contacting Wargaming Support. Include your (old) login credentials and tell them that you cannot login anymore with that email/pass. Maybe they can check for you why those credentials are not working. -
What are your PC specs? Do you have an onboard/integrated GPU (for example Intel HD 4000) or a dedicated graphics card? Did you install the latest drivers for your Graphics Card? Did you experience this problem before or is this the first time you have installed the game? I think option number 2 is the cause of your problems. Most likely you don't have a dedicated graphics card, so the game is trying to use the onboard GPU which is not powerful enough and/or cannot handle the game. If you do have a dedicated graphics card, make sure WoWs is using that instead of the onboard GPU. Right click WoWs icon -> Graphics Settings -> Uncheck Integrated Graphics -> Check Powerful NVIDIA Processor (or something similar)

Had the same problems yesterday when playing Ranked. I did run a quick test if it was my 500/500 Fibre connection that was causing the problems, but that was not the case. I guess the server had a bad day yesterday.

Your account shows only 5 Co-Op battles and no Random battles. If this is your main account, i guess losing the 5 Co-Op battles should not be a big disaster. Did you sign up for a new account after you experienced the login problem(s)? Are you 100% sure you did not make a typo when logging in? -
Check/edit your engine_config.xml file. Find this line and change it to whatever you want (FPS cap = standard set to 75): <maxFrameRate>75</maxFrameRate>

need to change how kills work to get rid of KSing and the yapping it causes
MaxxyNL replied to SkollUlfr's topic in General Discussion
Kill stealing? What is more important? That your after battle report shows that you lost the game, but hey......you have killed an enemy You won the game with or without kills Securing a kill and/or making sure your team has one less enemy to fight against, sounds better. If you see an enemy ship on low health, are you really not going to shoot it because maybe someone else is already trying to kill that enemy? Kill securing is not kill stealing. PS: The WG missions where you have to kill X amount of Cruisers or Destroyers are only igniting the whole "You stole my kill" drama... -

But why search for it if you hate it and/or not trying/want to use it?

Troll divisions should receive lower XP/Credits and/or WG should make it impossible to create divisions with certain Tier combo's.

Increasing the X amount of reports can give both a negative as a positive result. Positive Good players get rewarded for being an asset to the team Positive karma due to positive reports motivates players to further improve their gameplay Negative Trolls have more ways to give players negative troll reports When you shoot down/kill an enemy player, that enemy player/victim has more times to report players who killed him The reporting/karma system, as it works now (so without increasing the amout of report times), is not how it should be. Most players do not even know how the report/karma system works It is to easy to generate false negative reports There is no option to see/check why a player received a positive and/or negative report correct me if i am wrong

If you are that good (read: know the solution), why don't you forward your solution to the problem to Wargaming instead of complaining about it on the forum(s)?
