I looked at the mission ingame, came to the conclusion WG EU once again seems incapable of producing texts without mistakes, came to the forums after playing a bit to read, saw this thread and decided to confirm OP's assumption. Instead of always putting one or two useless sentences in a post, you can also just answer a question after it's been asked.

Yeah but the article says this one is once per day. Also, portal articles don't differentiate between missions and challenges. So once again WG EU shows their sheer incompetence in writing stuff.

I ran into the same division too. Shame they were on the enemy team....... meant another loss for me I had quite a good game in my North Carolina, but in the end we just couldn't win. Used to be Trolorado for me, but I played that before buffs. Right now it's the Friedrich. I can't get that damn thing to work, while I enjoyed Bismarck and Tirpitz and even Kurfürst the few games I played on test server.

For me personally it's the XP, but I'm a long time player and swimming in credits. So I don't really need the servicing or purchase discounts. I do think the small decrease in grind time with the XP bonus is the most important, especially once you get at higher tiers. It makes you advance slightly quicker once you researched all modules, but it also gets you rid of stock hulls a bit faster. It's all my personal opinion of course, and you should take it with a grain of salt because, as I said, credits are not really an issue for me.

Alright that's a fair point. I was more blunt than I should have been in this case, since it's not urgent at all. I still stand by the general concensus of what I said, but I could and should have worded it better. Let's say I got carried away on emotions originating from previous miscommunications and issues. Anyway, I'm glad you at least agree that communication wasn't perfect. Let's leave it at that then ;) I also appreciate the conversation we had here. I know I give you a hard time occasionally, but your replies in this thread (and IMO also the previous one) have been quite fine, and definately an improvement over what it once was. First of all, thanks for answering. And yes, I know this is the best answer you can give us at this moment. And I can even give you some patience, simply because, as you say, there's still time until it starts so there's no hurry really. However, I have to agree with the gents above me. WG decided to give information about CB when not all information was available. That's not only immensely stupid, but it's also an insult to your customers. More so because we're talking about competetive mode here, so players are really putting something into this. I know I'm probably a bit too harsh and I realise this isn't your personal decision, but I believe this had to be said. It's very simple: if you don't have all information nessecary, don't release any information! We're working on your timeline here, nobody forced you to release info untill you were ready. If you release info like this, you should be prepared to answer questions like this, it's not like they're some very vague or abstract questions. If you're not, you're either stupid or very bad at your job. The problem here is that WG thinks they're ready, but you're not. And the worrying part is that this isn't nearly the first time. I will say it again, if a communications team (not addressing you or WG EU personally here, since it's a global news release) does not know how to communicate, things are very very wrong.

But it has nothing to do with European Union. This is about BRD and DDR becoming one Germany again. Knocking down the Wall and all that was a historical event of course, but 3rd of October is a national holiday in Germany only. So it makes sense to only have a (very minor) event about it in Germany. It's the same with not having a serverwide event for Kingsday in The Netherlands. Having said that, I do think it's weird to include Switzerland and Austria in the event. I mean, they're not really part of DDR, BRD or present Germany

No, I'm at work currently. So I saw the update notice, but haven't been able to try. And to be honest, I'm not sure I have enough courage to try I know I'm doing nothing illegal, but I am using Aslain and have replays and training room enabled.....

@MrConway, I will not beat the dead horse here, so Im not gonna say anything about the decision to exclude CVs. But I do want to tell you this: the fact that you still have to ask about respec and flags is idiotic. These things should be clear when you announce things like this. Especially if you are going to announce something as controversial as this. Regardless if the decision is right or wrong, information like this should be in the article. Or at the very least be at the ready as a prompt response after questions. And then you produce a FAQ (which actually isn't a FAQ at all, but that's not the point now), and you still don't include important information like this. Sorry to be so blunt about this, but you guys (or, more probably, your bosses, the people making decisions like this) really have to take a long and intensive 'communications for dummies' course. Because WG, as a company, is really below dummies level. And Im an engineer, communication, marketing, presenting, that sort of things, are semantics I don't understand. Trust me on this one, if a 'semi-autistic' engineer is better at communication than a communications team, things are screwed up and you are really really bad at it.

You could try to run the game in safe mode (click the arrow next to the play button in the launcher) and see what happens

Do you have an outdated flag mod? WG tends to screw up the flag mods with each and every update, how small it may be
