ah when we restarted our division was still there, we couldnt leave it. But my son logged on (who wasn't stuck) and i invited him then gave him the lead.

Had this problem and found a work around once you are stuck you need to invite another person to your division then make them commander and they will be able to start a battle. fixed it for me and a friend who got this prob after getting q stuck and having to restart the client.
