Belfast has radar, but Fiji has a heal which greatly improves survivability and also has torps which is great a deterring ships from charging your smoke I really enjoy both ships, but the Fiji edges it for me.

There is already a permacamo for Fiji, I have it on mine as I consider it a keeper. It's a total beast of a boat and I like it more than the Belfast. I do now need to train a new captain for the Edinburgh as I also want to keep my Fiji captain where he is.

Sorry, but your answers are lame. There's no justification for making tier IX a requirement for missions to get a tier VIII ship. As someone who plays a lot of different lines my highest ships are tier VII. I'm having to spend this week grinding out the XP I need to unlock Amagi, then I'm going to have to grind all the way through Amagi, a minimum of 230,000 XP and 4,100,000 credits if I ignore the propulsion and range modules, and then grind out a further 15,900,000 credit to buy the Izumo before I can even start the mission. To say I'm pretty miffed at you wanting to force people to play the highest tiers of this game is an understatement. But we've become pretty used to being crapped on my WG in the EU compared to any other region.

I earned my Hiei on August 13th, pretty sure that wasn't a tier VII mission, although I can't find any news posts about it. The missions for Ashigara that ran concurrently were ( I earned that September 3rd). The only record of the event requirements I can find was here This reddit post suggests the Hiei missions were tier V as he mentions using the Omaha to complete the 2000 hits. Having tier IX requirements to earn a tier VIII non-premium ship is taking the mickey once again.

After playing for an evening through the first three tiers, my feedback based on experience is that the most anticipated line released in the game is a bag of shite. A thoroughly frustrating and disheartening experience. I can't believe I've waited since closed beta for the RN to make an appearance and we get this. I'm so disappointed.

I bought permacamo for my Cleveland as I knew it was going to be a keeper and the 30% xp boost would make the grind easier. 1000 doubloons is not a terrible price, but the higher tier ones are way overpriced.

All the other regions had the 3-ship pack on sale up front with the discounted premium ships. EU held back and wouldn't tell us what was in their version. The other regions took the three individual pre-orders, put them together and put a price tag of the SIms + one other on it. If EU followed suit we would have had a pack with 3 ships, 9000 gold for about £30. Now we have less than half that gold, for 20% more, padded out with a months premium time To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. Does anyone have a time machine so I can go back and buy the three ships separately. I should have listened to my inner pessimist and not waited to get screwed over by Wargaming EU's marketing department again.

I seem to be one of the few people who actually like it. It forces you to be more aware of the map and where the other team is and to actually think about the game rather than just roflstomp down one flank.
