I can't help but smirk at some people thinking this is all a plan to bring kids who won't know anything about how to play when there are quite a lot of hardcore gamers that are obsessively interested in manga and anime. Just some pointers for those who would like to take a look at Arpeggio. - Anime is somewhat lacking in content. The movies make up for it. Awesome CG. - Manga's art is gorgeous, specially the design of the ships and battles. Just a warning: there is some fanservice, meaning, semi nude scenes. -The personality of some characters can be puzzling (Hyuuga) unless you know some troopes of manga and anime. - Protagonist is tipical genious teen, one of the worse things on this series, but if you can somehow forget about that and/or think he's actually on his 20's at leastit's ok(?)

Well, I myself have read lots of stuff about ships, throuroughly enjoy history and WWII to the point that I read Sir Basill Lidell-Hart history when I was a kid. This doesn't stop me from enjoying this other kind of settings. In no way it is bad for the game because a big part of the players came from the weebs who like Kancolle and such. In fact, I don't know why WG haven't gotten some partnership with Kadokawa too. I'm a history buff myself too so when more historical options are available I'll be happpy too. Meanwhile, can't you at least feel happy for us weebs? This is precisely one of those long overdue promises that seemed that would never come. Please WG make it memorable!.

Npw really, it is that difficult to understand that if you are a big badass BB who can take 6 or more torps, a ginourmous number of shells and a long time being on fire or flooding in order to be sunk while being able to one shot cruisers with AP and even one shot DDs with HE or even AP you SHOULD have some disadvantage! That is, everyone and their mothers can see you from very far! The most nimble classes have other means, like stealth and bein manouverable in order to have staying power in the battlefield. PD: Did I forget that you can patch yourself up with time which can raise your HP during battle to over 150% of it?

Nothing to do with loading times. It's been a long standing issue of this game for some people without SSD that the loading times can be VERY long. In my case it is reduced to the first match, improves at the second and third match and gets good from then on.

If they are short on meaningful holidays to celebrate in EU they could eeaaaaasily exchange other servers holidays for significant naval battles fought around Europe. I'd dare to say there are enough naval battles throughout WWII to fill this. And if they are still short they could take other epic naval battles from old like Trafalgar, Lepanto, the Glorious 5th of June, Chesapeake, The 4 Days Battle, the Raid on the Medway, the Battle of Køge Bay, etc. Most of us may be in a semi political and economical union but I'm sure some would like to add a bit of spice and competitions bettwen the diferent language subforums and nationalities would be exciting.
