It's not easy to carry on a cruiser when playing ranked on tier VIII. This is why I liked ranked tiers in the former season: tier VI-VII have a better balance bettwen all classes + there are various valid options for a cruiser captain. Right now the only truly good cruiser for ranked is Atago.
