I wish we had less BBs (Yamato, Montana) that cannot kill me with one salvo in my cruisers but make me think of my next move and inflicting enough damage so I have to go back sometimes, instead of just killing me in 1 salvo. And no, you cannot be one shootted by any CV in a Montana or Yamato.

I just wish they take away these irrevocable ranks, bring back tier VI-VII only AND BLOCK THE AIM ASSIST BY NEXT SEASON.

Basically a detonation is when a shell detonates your ammunition storage or torpedo tubes. It can happen to any class but destroyers and cruisers are the most vulnerable because theey have exposed torpedo tubes whereas for a detonation of the ammunition storage of a ship a shell has to penetrate and explode inside it and the armor portects that part of the ship very well. Even a Yamato can be one shotted, full 96k health, by a detonation. There was quite a funny vid some months ago of this happening. I'll try searching for it. PD: And yeah, as Niaro mentioned, every time you get detonated you receive 10 flags that when equiped prevent your ship to be detonated for a single battle. Save then for when you are grinding DDs since even on light cruisers the incidence is very low compared to DDs. PPD: Found the vid. Skip to 5:27

Yep, that one but THAT much difference does the PoV? I mean for example Nicholas-Bogue, Mahan-New Mexico and Kongo-Kuma differences are huge and they are not that far away and the camera is almost over then.

No, sections of a ship have far more health than that, to the point that all sections health combined are 3-4 times the nominal HP of a ship.
