    Brits used 1600 lb on barracudas US AN mk1 was 1600 lb too. If Graf Zeppelin gets into the game there is a chance for a 2200 lb bomb if she fields JU 87 Honestly US was allready in a good spot with their 1000 lb HE the Problem was they were to unflexible with either high damage vs ships or no damage and fighter. More balanced setup and AP for the brit CV as a national flavor would have probably better

    ​Welches pushing germ BB kann in Team fahren? Die unterstützen eher DDs und kein CA/CL kann in der range mehr als 2 min überleben also werden genau die nicht bow on padeling backwards BBs bestraft. auderden kann mix 3 7er DB staffeln mit AP und 1 TB überleben das fördert also nicht mal eher ausgegilchenere CVs was US eher braucht. und zu guter letzt. CV können alles one shoten das bring nicht wirklich mehr spieler . Fixed den schrott den nichtmal Dune Battle für Arakis RTS spieler eine UI nehnen würden...............

    ​Just that Lexi probably wont have 1000lb but 1600 lb ones ....and no BB can really reduce a masiv Drop by 21 DB before they drop efectivly (maymhaps Hood)

    Gut gegen schiffe die eh schoh miese AA haben und die Pusher schlecht gegen eh AA mosnter die shoot and Fade ausgelegt sing wird Gut fürs Spiel.....​ Kommt ne Lexi mit strike an was schiest du ab die DB oder die TB ?

    ​Well Midway Planes vs IJN worked somewhat thogh you couldnt handle multiple squads well due to ammo . IJN fighter Vs US strike planes on the other Hand ...... I Remember losing half my Fighter to rear guners Balaced out by the non existing IJN rearm time thogh CV sniping was really hardcore Standard tatics together with boarderkiting

    ​1000 LB macht auch jetzt schohn relativ guten schaden da die explosionswirkung gros genug ist um superstructure zu treffen....AP nutzlos gegen alles auser BBs? Und wirksam gegen Camping BBs dh wen sie fahre trift kaum was ? das Problem ist 21 DB weicht keiner aus gegen 6 TVs von nen US CV kann man hingegen was tun. wen die treffer um die 7k plus machen bei AP sind das so 42k schaden pro drop bei ner hit rate von 33% und ein par abschüssen gegen die man nix macht. Wen dürch rng mal 12 Treffen....

All before were land based and they crashed a lot (not uncomon since early Jet engines planes had abymal characteristics at low Speed) not that it matters since Midway was operational 8 days after teh war ended anyway

    Im not so sure weirid drop patern or not ist 10 TB 12 DB vs shokakus 8 TB 10 DB. Well every CV Player hoped for a meaninfull revamp for quite some time but as it stands their idia is rather giving US AP bombs rather than meaningfull balanced loadout. Im afraid they ignore the real isue again like they did with german Cruisers and buff something nobody asked them too

    ​And there is your error. You should compare it to Lexi not an IJN CV. You like the either Im screwed or big dps 0 fighter playstly or the I can dfefend myself somewhat but do no damage? Enterprise offers a different path.....and given his strike plane have the same or slightly better strike power while having slightly worse Fighter but more reserves compared to Shokabu? Shokakus Advantage lies more in the faster strike cycle than the stike power itself.....
  17. Depends agist single targets near nothing unless multiple Auras or def fire at least not on the way in. Even bombed def fire pensas scoring multiple hits thogh AP has 0 burst rad so def fire can screw it hard. Not that def fire can stay near BBs and survive. Ships like Fdg and Gk who are known for taking long range cits and are superbig will probably srewed most.
  18. The point is 21 come in 2-3 get shot down before drop. 18 drops given a hit rate of 33% around 6 hits given AP bombs were original mod 16 inch that's between 21-81k damage unless the have weird bounce mechanics..... Sounds either totally OP or if you just field 1 squad underpowered.
  19. Wich is the point that you cant balance them some US CV use 7 DB some 21 and there's no way in hell you can actively do anything to avoid or lower the number of hits with DBs. And we don't need even more RNG with anything from overpens to cits with that.

    Isn't Khaba RU? Since when does RU have any DD at high Tir? (ognivoi perhaps?)

    Let's see : BBs are suposed to conter Cruisers BBs at high tir are acurate enogh to hit DDs in the 10-12km range DDs are geting less maneuverable at high tir. DD weapon of choise got nerfed down to 10 km with 3 expections. DDs can't shoot their guns without geting spoted outside smoke DDs main Job (Caping) get them spoted relyable.... And not forget DDs are a conter to BBs yet it's near imposible for them to oneshot them while it's quite posible the other way around ( the limiting factor is spoting them)

    Well the conter concept is a bit out of the window if BB oneshot allmost everything not a BB. And not requiring to even selecting diferent ammo for diferent targets means you always have the right shell loaded if a opertumitys presents itself. Akin of a cruiser shooting AP but if he hits a autobounce armor it suddenly acts as a HE shells. autoverpen? Won't save you from a under 10 km Montana salvo thogh. A caped damagevalue not tied ro the caliber is another option.

    Still not really ok right? Most wouldn't mind if the BB would have to chose the right tool for the Job. The fact that they can do the equivalent of cits to a DD without even changing Ammo is what cause the main isue.
