Again under the asumtion that the ships use a variant of their original Navys weapons: whats the Point of making some of the more coompetitiv Torps in the game even more stealhier and uping thir damage on top? If this were IJN torps by all means it makes sense since stealth IS their bigest drawback but especally for the top 3 i dont see the Point others than the aded damage since US Torps (if they are the base dekivery vehicle of teh warheads) ARE stealthy enogh to get hits in. Range is a factor steath isnt...then again neither of the 3 is a totally Torpedo dependen ship in the 1st place they would just suck at nuking smoke Screens, -

if they ad Things like geting you citadel higher above the water in a turn id like to stay at 9.0. In tanks they basically nerfed light tanks when they made teh physics Change. Nicer eyecandy quite ok. Messing with gamemechanics as a result please no.... -

Given that most DDs have weapons that have less than 12 km range and at 10 to 12 the more acurate BBs CAN hit BBs a spoted DD can easyly get wasted at that range the Problem is much like 12 km BB stealth. Your are forced outside your safe Zone if you want to engage a stealth BB that is not firing of at Targets at 23km range and waste his 4 skillpoint skill. -

Depends what Torps you are talking about. Anybody has Problem with making Benson/Gering/Fletcher/Z52 torps working on BBs? Pan Asia are basically clones of the 1st 3. The Problem might be range related and Bensons are a bit slow but detection isnt a Problem in the same way IJN is servly handicaped becasue they have higher Alpha (totaly ignoring that the platforms of the stelthy Torps rape them if it Comes to a gunfight on top). I dont see the Advantage of deepwater torps unless they cant be spoted by planes perhaps.....still too much of a tradeoff......unless you want to blow cruisers out of the water more wich isnt a Thing DDs should in the 1st place cruiser dont Need to be put into more danger ...would be make more sense to just slap a Torp detection penalty on BBs gerally...if you have friendly unitts Screening you you are fine but if you get flanked or go yolo your reaction time will be servly reduced without Messing with any other class that dont Needs less reaction time agist torps in the 1st place. -

Every other fukcing Feature dont gives you informations without even being the slightest clue that there is a danger....and most other Tools have cooldowns.....the very essence oth the skill is as worng as BBs with Radar/sonar/def fire....... -

You Aware that there is a case were a DDs Speed allready equals that of a BB? also you have may sucessfull Torp hits vs a Khaba you shot a Torp salvo from 10km? the higher the Speed the more drastical Speed changes are. Also Iowa does 33kn you still see them padling backwards at 8 kn a lot..........perhaps they will make swedish BBs that drive as fast backwards as Forwards soon ,-). Anyway more Speed means that even yugumo shima and gering cant hit BB that dont want to fight anymore...........- 330 replies

If it also loses 30k plus each time someone Points a gun like RN CL at them it also will be frustrating to Play them..... why cant they simply gring a non gimicy soild BB line? -

Well your not safe unless you exactly see without tribble checking if it safe or unsafe frienly Torps you still have to react as if tehy were unfriendly..... plus unless pan asia for some reson gets the old 20km range wich would be another slap in the face of IJN you still have to get past the enemy DDs that can conter your smoke Play while you cant conter theirs. And if teh range is normal then BBs can still say screw you turn tail and are Torpedo prof vs 10km torps or less.....the idia is good but DDs nowsday very seldom get to fight BBs unless one side has broken in and allow you to go on a rampge wich usally means you take an hour to get in a relecant torp pos were you score more than one hit. -

I fear no Fuso becasue its what a BB should be . Its spoted at range iTS inacurate (yea its shotgun like Shells CAN wreck you but it isnt that you dont see it coming and cant reakt. And it isnt imposible to damage in a way others than burning it down in a 15 Minute fight while it itself does 150k plus worth of damage...what i fear is a sneaky Montana or Iowa sudenly decloacking in my cruisers flank at 12 to 13 km firing high acurate Shells giving me only seconds to reakt... and try to Image a Monach with 9 15 Inch Shells doing that with short detonatoion Timers that wreck CA/CL and DDs even Harder...... -

The Problem isnt the BBs the Problem is that BBs survive their conters for too Long and even weck them while contering their Prey hard. Easyly solved by excluding BBs from the stealth skill without hard nerfing any other Parameters as a 1st step but you read the anoncement for high tir UK BBs? The steathy gameplay gives you more tactical Options? Seems WG cant go a easy way..... -
With the slight diference that german He sucks wile RU ones dont making german highly unrelyable vs anything but broadside Targets......and you cant compare the torps to IJN because unlike the IJN wich are high damage but are very visible German Torps are fast and stealthy but stup doing more damage in mid tir,

Well i only get T8 Matches with Galant were i either totaly outguned or cant even get Close thanks to Radar or planes .......wich leads to an abmysal Performance in a basically fun ship so id rather Play HSF Harekaze since MM means nothing to her because she outspots any Tir....

The Problem is JU87 are the slowest DB in the game.(at that Tir) They are the most fragile in the game (thanks to the fact that Enterprises T7 ones benefit from the T9 module). They die like flys if they fly into any Close range Aura......plus most CV skiper HATE RNG dive bombs with a pasion..... -

Thats unrealistic 2 to 7k is more realistic not everyone does 500k credit games EVERY single game. and not everyone has acess to 100% free exp camos en mass or permanets. Comepare that to the run mill Joe average that gets around 500 per game max.... -

Are you seriously so naive that they did exactly calculated if and what they would earn from exp conversion and flagsales when they decided on the move given that they have exact data from Missouri ? Not im not a fan of skiping ships but some ships have Substandard Shells on their base hulls or a pain to Play without the fcs upgrade. Not directly related but a good example of free exp grab are CVs. Have you played a stock Taiho back when US had the old loadouts and you were matched agist Midways as your mirror? Another i had when i leveled my ru Cruisers and had the T8 with just a hull and got "uninstall the game" coments from my Team when i said I do not have the Option to field Radar on this hull when asked for help agist a DD. -

with the slight diference that DDs have to get past each other to do damage to anything else while BBss do not. And for playing a cruiser in that Setup. even if you stay at 15 km plus with that many BBs have fun dodging and tehy only Need to be lucky once..... -

free exp isnt free for all....because some want to progess up the new UK BB line? plus one of the big 7 not in the techtree? sounds as much of a excuse as not giving gneisebau the 11 Inch guns for caliber Progression reasons but making a prem with it. -

What Problem do have People with Izumo she isnt the superbad ship she once was. Anyway if i Play a line id like to see as much real ships as posible not paper Substitutes so they can hide the real ships beond a moneywall (yea free exp can be optained free but you bet a lot will use up real Money flags or converted exp to help along)...........others than that im not really a fan how they go with all the gimicy stuff to make new lines "unique". Whats wrong with a line of BBs that is resonable acurate has renonable resistance to AP Shells when angled right and has resonable Mobility/survivability. Neither US nor IJN needed shot fused cruiser kill Shells or insane fast heals or cruiser like conceilment (well old Iowa montana needed that before the buff but thats history) -

Exactly while Aki Firepower is good and unique but the poor handling of ist hull takes away any fun.. You really Need to find someone stupid enogh to Igore it to get good results. While its hp are good for trading shots you not get into 1:1 figh that often and even in the 15km range some BB AP shots can take away any favor you have in a DD vs DD engagment very fast. HSF Hare is just the better platform,,,,, -

As the alternate line? with aki on T9 and super aki as T10? Given the poor handling of akis hull HSF Harekaze is actually the more fun ship to Play since she keeps the Torp power Speed and conceilment and maneuerbility of a DD at one the cost of a single Turest. Aki would have to get quite some buffs to fit T9 (well she gets acess to the beter modules ) -
Higher tir DDs without a at least 10 Point captain are servely handicaped. Chose a line you want to Progress in then Chose a DD you like of that Nation. Galant is decent but RN CL are NOT a good choise for a new Player since they are VERY unforgiving to the slightest mistake- Leningrad is a decent hybrid DD BUT RU DDs Play in a very diferent way Overall from your normal DD...........there is also Ochotnick if she gets on sale for once at T5 HSF Harekaze despite being an Anime ship IS a IJN DD and offers a wide range of Options (thogh some configs require at least a 14 Point captain to work at full. )She is one of the stealthyes ship but expenceive since T8. Overall i would not jump into high tir till you have a techtree ship around that Level- High Tir meta is VERY diferent from the fun and games playstyle at low to mid Level......
