If a Shokabu Lexi or enterprise hit you with a full strike and they know what your doing your wont do much for teh rest of the game either in a T6 BB. Just that GZ cannot hurt anthing really but BBs so it should excel at that at least? The number of over 100k games i had in her are few. From the point of a BB that does get deleted it looks hard but overall it isnt for the game as a whoule.

Look up my ealyer post GZ bombs do not work only agist Germ BBs thats the whole point of a one trick pony trust me i did the do 9500 base exp mission in test 1. I should know 55ish K to a North Cal and 50k to a Montana is hardly pityfull.(tell NC was Test 1 but Monatana was Test 2)

manueal drop on Test 1 only works agist backpading of 1/4 speed targets autodrop is as relyable as enterprises thogh that is if you acount for turnin you somewhat relyable do at least 20k. With test 2 like i said before you dont care abvout angles but your hits wont nessesarryly hit teh ceter of mass and your more likely gets more pens instead of citadels compared to test 1 both on a perfect drop. You can hit heavyer cruisers if you dont care for plane loses and they for some reason dont have def fire. They main point thogh is your fragile fighters need a lots of micromanement if your not want to throw them away that on top of micro intensive bomb drops make it a "unfun ship" no matter how much damage you do. You also cant hit DDs at all and your even suck at keeping them spoted because your fights are made out of kerosin soaked paper. Intersstingly enogh i was most sucessfull fighting shokakus. while i couldt prevented his strikes i could outfight pin down his fighters and get my strikes thogh. A enterprise of AS lexi can shot you down and reduce you to doing nothing thogh.... WG allready complained that one shoting a GK isnt ok but then i ask under what circumstances? if you face a sec speced german BB you will take significant plane loses every atack. I had more than enogh Turning in Friedrich and GB reducing the strike to about 20k while killing at least 2 full squads in return. Any reduction in alpha will make this allready very depending on actually geting any strike and canot play the objective loadouts totally useless. Like i said to rvfharrier If you only can hurt BBs they cant nerf that aspect of GZ, We will see if they test deepwater Torps and what that will do to BBs. As they stand Test 1 is is a unfun hard to play CV that does the job its desighned for nothing more nothing else. Test 2 especally if you would get her with the orginal HE bomb as an alternate loadout would be no skill required but RNG if you can get your planes to the target at all. DB only loadouts DO have teh problem that you cant avoid significant loses becasue you have to face all AA auras of the target. The main problem atm thogh is that the fighters die like flies to any kind of AA even DD ones. Production ready? Well i have a lots of games in Saipan because she is fun fast paced. I dont think i ever get near that games in the graf if any at all after playing her as test......

German armor layout gets you more chances for cits but overall unlike Enterprise you can do masiv damage to all BBs not just Germans. Perhaps he tryed a manual drop on Colerado and only hit bow stern section The problem still is geting the bombs to target and to some extend the targets reaction.

The GZ is the conter for all BBs not like Enterprise who ony really work agist german BBs (then again she ISNT restricted to AP bombs she has allways torps that work agist any target). If they go for making GZ a one trick pony it NEEDS to do at least that one point to perfection otherwise its a pointless ship. Killing BBs is the point if you go for a AP setup. Killing DDS and doing moderate he dam to any other Target is for the HE setup. Neither can really protetct their strike planes and turning in signigficantly reduces the damage agist test 1 (test 2 circular patern just has a lower number of hits to begin with but dont care about turning) Test 1 is pretty balaced Test 2 not so much because it dont care about target reaction but is more rngish. Neither is fun thogh because you can be reduced to 0 damage all game if the enemy CV is on its toes because your fighers are a piece of BEEEP that even DDs kill in 0.5 seconds (overraction but you will lose planes to then and even if 1 plane is lost you have 0 chance to fight any ofther CVs fighter,,,,) But both do their job of killing BBs if left alone if the BB is alone and not reacting (and that includes turning in)

Had a Monach declock in the flank of my cruiser and one shoted me how much testing is needed to see that UK BB stealth is totally broken? That aside i one shoted a NC doing over 50k with 8 AP hits of GZ but she was boardersurfing and slow. not turning in. BBs that get caugt in such situation should get deleted or do you complain when a CA/CL does kiss a Island giving you a free kill in your BB too? normaly if you turn you get 20k for one of perhaps 3 strikes per game if the enemy CV even allows that. Nobody makes a fuss when a DD gets radared and r*ped with 0 chance of knowing what just happed if teh CA does make good use of terain. Nobody complains with cruiser geting wrecked left and right by BBs that now even have better steath then them in some cases. So aswer me this why should a BB that is sailing slow or straint and dont turn in not be one shoted by a weapon that is ONLY good agist BB and has to be delivered by planes that are protected by the worst Fighters of Tir 8? I think there are more than enogh limitation to AP bombs usage to allow for the efect........

US is the best overall close combat line in fights under 7 km save for T10 were Grozevoi is teoretical better (but a much larger target) Just dont belive you can just push into a enemy DD and wreak him instantly. Any DD that runs into a suported DD can get down fast... Germ DDs also have decent guns but the lack in steath and take too much damage quickly to play them as gunboats. US wins in rof and overall agility since they use mechanized turests but hitrate drops off quickly over 7km

Still rewards are quite bad. Did a test 2 100k game 70k to T10 bbs and wad 9th in the scorebord exp wise. CV economy is just plain broken...

this is test 1 only autodrops over while atacking the BBs front on. it works fine, I did only 1 Test 2 game and it also worked resonable there with manual drop but the circular drop patern means you allways habe misses while a front op T1 autodrop means your nearly get all bombs on target.....got to test 2 more soon now that i finished teh test 1 mision thogh the T8 fighter will make dogfighing skill useless now...I could hold my own agist shokakus fighters with test 1 thogh Enterprise or even balanced lex played smartly can slaghter you. any AS will look you down unless he is very stupid.

So why you dont just sit perfectly broadside to and enemy at 0 kn ? that would end the game as fast or just torp yourself if your in a CV? Its not about fighting its about throwing free exp at the enemy. Im not a blue line camper nor a avoid cap player but if im still alive and my team is not despite that why would i stupidly yolo in a non profit situation. I play the game for my fun. geting slaughtered is NO fun. -
The problem are not the delay you can easyly get good results doing autodrops: The problem is your inability to protect the planes and the fact that you cant scout since even DDs shread your fighters.... Overall the micromanegment to keep the fighters alive makes this a non fun CV.

You know there is a diferece between avoiding combat and not feeding the enemy exp and credits on an allready lost game without any chance to even get a decent return? -
And how did that change? cruisers to have any chance to survive still shoot from max range (or from cover over islands)just now they can be deleted by some random rng, On the downside DDs AP pen IS a problem that is only tehre because of the removal. Anybody compalining on IJN or US DDs pew pew ruing their game in a non DD?

Well WG aknowleged that there are too many BBs in the game. and tehy survive too long. And then lowered the citadels of high Tir US BBs and created underwater cits for UK BBs. And then gave Tirpiz Bismarks sec rang and buffed the allready good range of german BBs even more (even as a owner of German BBs i found that kind of strange) And then creating UK BBs with cruiser detecion range (sometimes better even) and the ability to superheal when tehy disable something like this earlyer on Yamato (heal) And then creating superpen HE without any drawback for the UK line wile at the same time talking about nerfing IFHE for mid caliber guns (I see the problem of compareble tir 8 inch cruiser having no place as long as 6 inch have this form of IFHE but still strange especaly if it comes with the smoke nerf that will hit RN CL both highly in derectly benefiting BB) Gerally fixing problems like Torpedo soup stealthfire IFHE smoke while taking their sweet time to fix CVs or high caliber AP pens on DDs...... Did i forget something?

What im saying is the system we have work at the moment. Peple who play pasiv will do so anyway no matter the penalty. At teh moment if you do play decently you get a plus. Any worse economy would punish peple who have the un fortue to be on the losing team. It would also punish classes that by desighn have a high chance to die fast without acomplishing anything just because they tryed to do their job. And i find it pernonally more frustrating as some of the last ships alive to get one shoted by 80% of the enemy team with my at best geting 1-2 salvos at their bows. Dont misunderstand if can make a impact I will but i dont try to kamikaze for no return either. just becasue my team did something stupid like crosing the chanel at 2 brothers or just Leming train to a single cap and even there lose. -

what stick you have the same repair no matter how much damage you get atm. That thogh if my team does epic fail im not feeding the enemy more exp/credits if if i dont get renonable return. if tehy steamroll us anyway because nobody gets to a cap i dont mind them wining with 800 points at most while avoiding combat even if i get neg credits. -

AP bombs of graf do masiv damage even vs Montana the problem is the micromanement involved and teh fact you canot face more than a single hard AA auro even without def AA runing...

For what reward ? You can gtet better results while playing at 30% of the micromanement with any other CV. HE is the only good point . AP can hit hard but most of teh time your forced to atodrop anyway to miro your fighters to not lose all your planes in teh 1st 5 min. Yea you can outfight a Shokaku in the air if he is overconfiden: But if you not able to do teh sweet hits on top you wont get rewarded for it. If it would get live with the 3 setups it has now nodody in his right mind would use AP bombs because killing DDs that cant defen in the slightest agist the circular drop patern it has no good point......

A yama at close range has teh problem that if he charges he will one shot you once he gets in the flank because of yamas citadel once he leaves the autobouce zone due because of the shape you cant angle and avoid that in a Yama.

Well since you dont get prem camp on test version and have to buy your modules that are basically useless when them are dismounted at the end of the test Testers do invest quite a bit into this even if they are "just" people who bought her. And the test is now the average players gets to play with them not some super ueber CV players, You get data on spikes too but it has to work on the average anyway... -
GZ 1 vs fast moving BBs you use autodrop eclipse is Enterprise like and you can get 30-35k Drops. slowmoving Targets gets wrecked hard, did a 47k drop on a montana considering this is AP and cit damage that hurts quite a bit overall i get better results on GZ 1 and with the T7 fights and dogfight skill i can put up a fight agist and make may fighter count. still as it is its still neither a strike or a AS CV thogh that might not the real reason for the tests but rather geting datas on the drop patern.

Before you can even talk about skill based MM you need to adress the low number of overall CV players. If you cant even a lower skill CV cause some disruption of a good CV player because you cant asume your up agist a less skilled player. Unless you want to get rid of Mirror MM and want to have skilled CVs Wreck withouut fear or any air oposition while you can defend vs a less skilled player without but his tools still can wreak havok even if he only does 20k dam but keep your DDs spoted....... If we would have 1 CVs per side in every high tir games you could start talk about going for skillbased MM otherwise its a pipedream. Of course you would have other problems then. How you base your skillbased MM? I for example are a average CV player but i have 38% WR in the Taiho. would i get lower skilled oponents in her just because i stoped playing her in a Time were your Mirror usally was a Midway or old essex while i had a stock config?
