Yea but whats if the next time that opertunity present itself real live prevents you from geting it without any fault from yourself. Either having a advantage is unfair or its aceptable. You want it fair even if you have to work for it it needs to be a permanent campain. Thats the only way i see it happens without making it unfair.

The point is you will face sooner or later with some contend that you do not have acess to. The only way to avoid it is to not make this not conted event stuff but credit it to every nowly created acount. Do you see any indication that they would do something like that? A disadvantage of facing said contend while not having acess to said contend will allways hapens sometimes. Or do you feel better when you get acess to said contend when you up to that moment were at the disadvantage?

More unfair than geting a team that don t want to go near this circles with leters 4 time in a row? or facing a Kamikaze/Fujin/Kamikaze R/Imperator/gremmy? Or facing a Yamamoto in a Mutsu or KII while you not even have a T8 ship to get him?

You aware that if they want to make competitiv Gammodes thy just can ban specal captains? Is it unfair in randoms? well personally i think the factor is less than the usall weekend MM

Dont think they were used that often thogh. perhaps agist malta convoiys or along the English Chanel since the main drawback of the Ju 87 was its very limited range.

Thts why Germ DDs with their low damage high reload can arceive high results. DDs are low damage because their main job is caping and by caping you mostly fight low health targets wich in itself reflects in exp rather than damage done. yes IJN are horible damagewise but thats because their Torps can seen from the moon. You could have thermonuclear Torps it only matters if you hit. DW Torps WILL hit becasue they have teh stealth for it and unlike Germ DDs wich pay for their reload overall with being on the more visible side Panasia DDs rivals IJN on steath as a Platform. Yes radar ,Sonar spoterplanes are still problems but you dont get the bad starting line as if you were a Shima for exaple gets by being as visible as Gunboats that can rip her a new one every time she gets spoted and having Torps that have the worst visibility of its Tir (sima 12km,67kn,1,7 km detection Gering 16.5 km 66 kn, 1.4km detection

Well then drive your BB in circle with all the time in a BB will make sure you get pened or citadeled by the enemy BBs there are enogh chances for normal US Torps to hit the only real protection is a friendly DD in front to give advance waring.....but you might have the super BB with 2 hour spoterplanes radar and sonar and 2 sek rudershift to call other people a N00b with your 145 battles. Anyway they will most likely only kill cruiser for teh most parts because to get to a BB a DD has to get past the enemy DDs unless he is total useless for the team and go around on the boarder for 1 to 2 might suprise salvos on a BB flanking expeditions while the enemy team wins by caping.....

The base Torp for DW are US Torps wich are very stealthy to begin with and tehy ad more stealth to that.... have fun with A and D whith a around 1.3 detection IJN level of damage Torp based on a Fletcher Gering platform just with even more stealth (in case of the T10 kagaro level of stealth or very close). Ture it wont afect shot and fade BBs since angeling away at 30 kn will make them pretty much imun to any but the T10 DW Torps anyway.......

You could have solved most of your problems by going Tir 8. You chose to shoot yourself in the knee by not using comuity diven competitiv expirience as a source of info. Your idia of rent a ship creates victims to be farmed by players that DO have the required ships and the practice in them. Nonstandard builds on modules and captains is a blatant dublon grab. And with you i dont mean you personally because your most likely just a shield for the people who pushed for a lots of VERY questionable decisions in the last 12 month..... good luck on damage controll (AGAIN) on this one...... -

CC are no CMs i think your a little confused...... Becasue CCs say that: You could ask WG a lots of questions.... Like how fun it is if they shoot themself in the knee again and again. You would think CM (comunits managers) would complile things so that those in charge can make informed decisions Most of their bulnders and posible solutions to them are very visible for anyone playing the game.And that without any kind of crystal ball..... You have playerdriven competitiv modes, you ever asked yourself why they dont do T10? You have any idia how creating a mode that requires a nonstandard build apeals to players. You have any idia how creating limited rent a ship choises (and the ones least useable for that mode too) creats at best some clay pingons to be farmed by players that own the required ships? Honestly i cant even think what to say that isnt insulting and unpolite... As such i just say either someone dont wants to hear feedback and wants to push its idea agist any resistance thogh Or the ones compiling the datas needs to really really really needs to do a better job! And I say that as someone who dont care about CW at all but this is just another syntom of how WGs decision making is a bit out of wak with reality. Nobody is asking to jump to every players whim because rational players can live with things they dont agree with if they see a resonable goal but PLEASE read the mood just for once.......there are a lots stuff done in the last year were its pretty much cklear that there is NO real planing....just messing around.... -
I say it again and agin DW torps are just a Insult to exiting torp DDs. and to think a new line will shift the meta when you cant conroll whats on each Team is wishfull thinking. BBs detection for Torps Need to be lowererd not Torp detection in gerneral. That way Torps would yoloing BBs more but not wreak unintended Targets. The fact that DW Torps are more deadly for cruisers is more that they cant restrict the target selection to just a single class. We do NOT Need cruiser wreaking Torps. Most cant take to many hits anyway There is no Need for a less detectable and more damaging Torps 1 to 2 shot them depending on the damage.allready taking. Shima Shows perfectly haven many Torps but canont make more than a hadhull hit per game do not make for a good design. Bringing in a line that can outspot most other DDS at high Tir and totaly wreck IJN Torp boats in a gunfight while doing their Job vs BBs far better is just anither Insult to injury... if a Class is broken fix the class not ad bandaids that are not evenly beween Teams and add more Problems than solve it...

A BB that survives Long tanking shittons of potentia damage do get exp a BB that senseless die in 10 second of fokus fire do not.Same with DDs if you get hit by a Torp rushing the cap 0 if you hold of the cap reset cap Points of the enemy you can do pretty well. Gerally i wouldt let your role dictate that you comit suicide. if a Team lemings but dont push when they see the 1st Torpedo coming their way let the Team lose. If you can delay the enemy with a token force you will be rewarded if you as a DD try to hold of Radar cruisers on your own with no BBs tearing him a new one its your fault not your Teams. But if a Team dont suports and comit to a single cap its also not your fault when the enemy caps 3 and win by Points. Its as easy as that. -
Thats exactly what i mean a Switch would mean you sudenly gets an extra plane per squad thats probably requires some real coding not just using allready implemented Features wich make it unlikely. Enterprise would be easyer to fit since its Bombers do not increase in number making it easyer. That they didnt considered it on her is a pretty clear sighn that it wont be an Option for GZ Edit: I really should read it corectly sorry hard work day the premise still stands thogh if its posible they haf the Option to do it on Enterprise (was requested there due to the unrelyable Torp patern)

Hard to implement sinceT4 skill influence the number of planes if they are Bombers dont think their Overall Setup is flexible enogh or they might had it implemented on Enterprise.

The Problem is other CV can do the same without being limited in their target selection. Whats the Point of a one trick Ponny if it even only as as good at his one good Point compared to a more normal CV?

Depends wich planes are shoot down since 3 out of 5 aim in the same row. Main prob thogh is the same as in 1st test. The total inability to really protect your planes or if it even in the slightest work intercepting enemy strikes. and unless ur fighting T6 you dont get damage over ime since sending them in single will get them slaughtered. They copy pasted the 1st pre release Setup and excluded DDs as Target. 1.6 km range and 38kkn with Torp acel. Honestly? Im more scared of a Kaga due to drop patern and she has a more healthy Play enviroment even facing saipan since GZ cant fight any other CV fighter safe that of another GZ. With the restrictions larger Torp range or higher Torp Speed might have been a good idia....

Well im not playing BBs too much atm. with Kii i couldnt break the main belt at pretty flat angle in the 12-14 km from that i noticed. WAsnt expecting cits but pens but the belt Held up pretty good. Plunging might work better but then with the stealth its up to her if its even allows for that If you mean Chung Mu? 38kn 1.5 kn more than Fletcher a Little bit less range (not that it matters with the arcs) 60m more in Turning, 0.6 sek worse ruder. 200 m less detection range at 7.2km base (wich is 200m worse than Yugumo) Take the datas wich a pich of salt they are from 15.8. and teh usall subject to Change but thats enogh for geting offtopic If you want to take a look itself you ccan YouTube stuntmen9630 he usally do stat leak vids. -

Shimas glory days are Long gone and with Pan Asia on the horizon it will get even more painfull. The Problem is she is toataly dependent that the enemy being stupid and at T10 thats sadly not happens as much as at lower Level. -

Well we agree to disagree then. personaly i find the Km BBs the least ofensive BBs too if they didnt had hydro to cover their weakpoint at the later Level and instead of being more relyant on having a friendly dd they themself suport in front. and my Point is ANY BB that Shows broadside should be in a world of pain bu resonable high caliber AP. pushing BBs are gerally good for the game just Tools like sonar and in case of Missouri Radar should have never ever been on a BB. And its not about punishing CA because thats mostly BB vs BB combat its just another Point were BBS simply do not die instantly while doing stupid Things but everbody says well you showed broadside in a Cruiser at 13 of Course you get deleted instantly thas normal even if said BB wasnt ever visible before opening up in open water.... of Course thats is fun in the game while low caliber open water stealthfire that took 10 minutes to kill a BB alone was so gamebreaking that it had to be removed..... Lowering the citadels or disigning them underwater is Dumping down the gameplay. HE that pens and make angeling is Dumping down the gameplay especally when the unit that fire is imun to cits and has superheals AND stealth to engage and disengae at will in most situations (Belfast Syndrom too many good Points and the heal cancel out the only bad Point namly the lower HP) And the new mirical line is the panasian T10 wiich is another slap in the face of every Shima Player a Gering with more stealth than a Shima (by a good margin) and if they dont Change it Radar so you cant even disengage by smoking up........... -

Other idias that floated around were time to fade back into stealh by class or caliber. Removing BBs From the stealth captain skill (or servely lower the % to like 5%) Reducing BBs surviability by making their Torpedo aquisition worso that that you get to the Point they are now only by picking vigilance skill. -

Amagi has Turtleback too. and due to the shape of the frontal citadel even angleing is counterproductiv in a Yamato making her the only BB that still is looked in that stupid bow on backpadling meta in the mid to Close range, Point here isnt thogh that she is Point here is that the rest arent punished anymorefor showing broadsides like they once were. You can argue that Germ pay for that with their abymysal main gun Dispersion and the fact that they are so big that even a Gering at max range dont has Problems that land the majority of ist Shells.but for the rest? They allways exceled at shoot and fade was lowering the cit really nessesary? Are underwater citadels really nessesary when they have insane heals and stealth? whats their drawback? only geting 200k damage per game while shoting HE? The Topic thogh is that Cruiser are heavyly punished by BBs wich in itself isnt wrong IF BB themthelf would be punished by their counter wich the at this time in they aregamedevelopment not, And i dont say that as a Cruiser or DD or CV main since i Play all classes. Especally the more stealth than the ship they are Counter is something i dont agree on becasue if a ship counter cruisers as hard as BBs o they should at least be forced to utilise Islands to suprise a CA not sudenly decloack in its flank or geting in surekill range undectected when they are a high Alpha class and cruisers Needs to Keep their guns hot to arceive any kind of damage and as such more often than not have 0 stealth. while BBs fade between salvos. -

I had a Indianopolis game on 2 Brothers Made good use of cover chased a enemy dd out of the western cap pumeled a Atago for 20k with Ap did 16 k to a Fuso and then wile pushing up with my team meet a gneisenau at 13km near now on. one salvo later with 2 hits i lost 17k out of 32 k done by just once being in the line of fire for a few seconds. Now i really dont care if my counter can do that to me BUT what i DO care about is that BB counters canot do the same to them...... instead they get buffed in any catogory all the time. Gets consumables that have not place whatssoever on a BB and now to ad insult to injury gets conceilment that rivals or is better than CAs. All that withoutmaking tradeoffs or having tradeoffs that are negated by their new and improved consumables instead of a reliance to work with their team. how on earth is THAT good gamedesingn and how on earth do others classes need to make sacrifices with DW Torps or AP bombs just the one big Master Class do not? Instead they dump gameplay even more down with underwater citadels and Turtelbacks left and right that we are now to the point were a Yamato of all ships has the easyest to penetrate citadel of all T10 ships -

Honestly ? The AP Bombs worked better as a anti BB weapon....but funny that after that the reports came from the own team becasue of the inability to spot enemy DDs that has AS lexi aircover.... Wonder if he reports bomber lexis or high Tir RU DDs that dont cap too?
