Really is there a single T6 prem BB that dosent do better than Dunkirk? others than speed I dont really like her too much. One more BBs that is overall more balaced hardly makes a diference. Anyway happy Italia gets a decent crewtrainer. Duca was just to low dps to really train up some decent captains. -

Wrong germ secondary builds do work without sniping at 20km or 12km conceilment being at 20 km also means you take plunging shots and have no room to retrat once the enemy gets close. 14-16 conceilment would mean exactly that for BBS what open water stealthfire nerfed meaned to non RU Gunboat DDs. Not fading between shots. Some here had the idia to make fade time depending on reload(like reload +10 sek for BBs) that would also solve some of the problems. And you wouldnt get hit by Torps left in right but you would have to build your captain to arceive that by making sacrifices elsewere that OR play with your team. If a friendly DD is in front of you to spot Torps you will get all the warnings in the world. And i have a pretty good idia how that effect the game i do own a FDG, Iowa and Yamato im also see 50+ BBs to 6 CAs and 6 DDs in the waiting cues, For a pushing suported BB nothing changes. For fading in and out or yoloings on the other hand...... fact is BBs survive to long even if not suported. Dont babyfeed one class while a Cruiser that shows more than 15 degree side and gets deleted at 16 km was playing dumb by showing perfect brodside and a DD spoted for more than 5 seconds gets deleted by AP pens. Or do you really think lowering US BB citadels, increasing the Germ BBs secondary range and creating BBs with underwater citadels zombi heals cruiser stealth and insane pen high damage HE made the game better and requires more skillful play? -
I meaned the Going Hot is not geting rendered consistingliy at the same range because of the Tick system. As you see in your vid the angle indicator is depedend on ship size with kii you had them going hot way before the reaching the angle indicator while on smaler ships it were pretty close. In any case it were thogh in the early part of the actually aiming cone but with some variance, if you test in Traingsroom with the aiming cone just a little bit inside the aiming cone but not the range were they were rendered as active and it result in duds it would indicate that the begining of the cone isnt the minimum arm distance. If it result in a hit it would be. easy to test out with RN singlefire got to reactivate the Training room again thogh after last patch. Gona take a look if i find time sounds interesting even if there is little impact in the actual game.

The Arc itself is the angle you can fire . The begining of the Torpedo spread indicator should be the arming point. Just because they are not rendered yet shouldnt they arent armed (unless WG decided some random variance like they did with the holes in the spread to create a RNG Factor. WoWS rendering is done in Ticks not real time (the most comon example of that is ships coming behing Islands wont see you for another tick when they get LOS when you allready see them by spoter/fighter plane geting you an advantage) The only real way to test it would be in the traing room with targets just inside indicater range since most Torps in the Vid armed a bit further than that.

Yea but shima despite being a joke today is still a well loved and often played Destroyer without making the whole meta a pain to play for everyone else while BBs get one toy after another to make their live easyer and easyer. RN superstealth underwater cits dont care about angeling and armor i do 10k plus salvos and fires on top is just the last evulution of them being made them surviable and easy to play (not 100% True because bad BB players just dont realize that knowing when and when not to comit their HP pool) -

If a BB isnt yoloing ahead nothing changes. Thats exactly why i said dont touch raw survivability or the ability to do its Job but either make choices by selecting skills and have drawbacks in other areas or depend on its team to make up for shortcomings. As it is every new line and patches nearly allways Turn BBs more and more less dependend on other classes. -

Well then lower the values thing is BBs shouldnt benefit from it more than cruisers. Even Battleship Moskwa should be slightly more conceiled than a Monatana Yamato&Co. BBs survival should be more centered on being able to take damage then avoiding it alltogether on top of it. Good BB player allready utilizing cover and disengament routes but the full stealth build make it too easy even if you discount its offensiv potential of genging into firing position and geting off devastating opening salvos on cruisers from ranges were they have very little reaction time. -

unless he is a IJN DD or has his own smoke ready to disengage. The point is if he sneaks up on a non Belfast RN Light Cruiser they 99% get deleted in 2,5 seconds since they eat BB cits from any angle have fun punishing the DD that likely gets away with a few holes when it kills your ship. We really need more things that kill RN CL when your just can shot by their muzzleflashes semi relyable?- 9 replies

Maybee im blind but im pretty sure it has base 5 planes a squad with T4 skill thats means 6 times 3 means 18 not 12 wich is a huge diference since thy are pretty fragile.... Some sugested a only 2 anti BB but 1 HE bomber loadout (was rather 2/2/1 in the last test) to not being totaly useless vs DDs. that would sinificantly reduces the anti BB damage since most of the time you lose near a squad on the way in wich leaves you with 2 squads delivering their payload and that is reflected in the damageoutput. Given that they tested the 2/0/3 leadout twice that seems what they want to go for wich in turn means a total unfun 0 skill CV. None of the testing toched they main problem GZ has. Its paper fights that die instantly even to DD Level of AA making it totaly useless in the scouting role. -

Be fair the only thing you can do agist the circle patern is being near friendly ships witth AA because they dont care about atack angle. Thogh i Agree a BB without fiendly cover should be in a world of Hurt. Most never played CBT and dont see the need for AA specs and complain about CVs when they yolostriking them. THATS a problem its ok if a BB RNG deletes cruisers. Its not ok if BBs gets deleted by anything else. That flawed perception is what must change. Fact is Anti BB arment on GZ is payed by the total inability to strike DDs. That in Turn means the one Trick it has especally when you acount for the joke that they call fighters on her NEEDS to be devastating if it actally gets to a Target. -

because test 2 uses Braindead circle patern wich is very smal so when paniced it has little imact after that its throwing enogh crap agist the wall 18 DB you shoot down like 4 to 5 on the way in (if you had both fighters looked on some squads leaving 13 boms get droped with a max potential of 109200 damage ( if they all hit the citadel) Mind you if you had real CV soport no bomb would hit becasue the planes are slow and all would died in a strafe.... -

The problem is you dont even need radar or sonar or the new smoke mechanik to delete them in smoke. Look up flamus vid and you see how you can semi relyable kill a RN cruiser in smoke. If they had problems with BBs utiilzing it nerf it for BBs. RN CL are depending on the smoke to do any damage because they are citadeled from any angle by BB guns, Not that this is the only problem. Z23 for example with its 150mm gun charging a smoke cloud and geting into hydro range will also be spoted as soon as he fires. kind of conterproductive isnt it? Is it frustrating that if you turn off your brain and say "I cant do anything agist fire from smoke" ? Sure...As much as losing 2/3 of your health by a random citadel in a cruiser or geting 80% hp los in a DD from a BB AP salvo..... There are so many things that needs to be fixed like a REAL CV rework. Instead they push things in the hope they can make a esport out this game and nobody wants to see the permasmoke meta you see in competiv play. Guss what 99% care 0 about CW or competiv play and dont want the game to further nerf the ability of units with no armor to have a impact....- 233 replies

If they have problems with certain ships firing from smoke nerf said ships not the rest. Z23 basically loes the ability to hydro smoke and shot without being detected by the target in smoke. And RN CL will have fun becasue some IJN DDs will get that close without being spoted......

If you spec into it there is enogh AA. T4/5 planes dont have much hp they also lack the ability to efectivly use their atacks thankts to the removal of autodrops. My personal bests are: Yubari:30 Phönix: 5 Kuma: 4 Murmansk: 28 Omaha: 10 Got to remember that you usallly dont get droped on unless you stay near a high profile taget since low tir CL are just too nibble ... Kaiser:10 Orion: 8 Wyoming: 6 Myogi:: 5 Kongo(best of teh bunch incl ARPs):18 New York: 6 Texas:22 König 16 Iron Duke 6 DDs are screed i agree but then planespeed isnt that great and most CVs usally wont keep you spoted after their drop unless tehy aceived aircontroll over the enemy CV And its worse at higher tir just had a game were my team had a Bomber lex and teh enemy had a Shokaku no chance to get any cap in a Z46..... you can basically sail into a far corner and return to port in such case because the chance is high that at that level CV skipper will focus on geting DDs killed asap.

Well id not be as pesemistic tehy DID looked at US cruisers. The problem i see if they decide to buff IJN or fix a perceived problem by ading more bandaids to the game which leaves IJN Torps a joke weapon relying on your openent being stupid to arceive a hit. And with badaids i looking at DW Torps for panasia and AP Bombs. If there is a balance Problem they NEED to fix it directly. That said just lowering IJN detection screws over DDs and CAs way more than BBs. (thogh i DO belive that as a Torp platform at least shima needs a detection buff or a significant gun/survivabilitybuff wich is even more unlikely)- 10 replies

If the goal is making more Hits on BBs id rather nerf their Torpedodetection as a class........so you would make them more useable vs BBs without srewing Targets that are not suposed to be easyly hit.- 10 replies

Well not everyone has the option to just switch to another T10BB. Shima sucks for a long time but is still one of the most played DDs also.....not That Yama really sucks she is just a looked into a crap meta when they fixed that for US BBs.

if you play them like a Akatsuki (higher visible Torp boat) you should feel right at home you basically trade alpha forTorp reload and Torps that actually can hit if your Target isnt asleep. Use AP if you get braudsides use your smoke to cap then hydro to avoid geting torped. you can do decent damage agist cruisers and even BBs with AP in the superstructure . Just remember at heart they are Torp boats like IJN not gunboats or real Hybrids. Use the guns when nessesarry since you prone to take masive dame by higher caliber AP pens when firing from open water.

Wonder when Shokakus 0/3/3 comes back.....0 fighter setups are plainly bad Lexi proved that over and over. Yea if unoposed you can do damgae but if the enmy gets you you can basically bomb yoursef to get it over faster.....the setups were a gamble option in a time were you might not face an enemy CV thae arent now......also using the dumb no skill autodrop setup while increasing the number of hits by makeing the circle smaller.? No coment. -
No you make choices. Taking fireprevention and a damage mod 2 and basics of survivabuility all can make fire a minor problem but in doing so you have holes in other areas. This is intended. BBs are not suposed to be swiss army knifes with the right tool for every job. IF you want a get rid of every damage over time look at Oktober revolution mod. Thats more to your liking? because short damagecons have to pay a hefty penalty once your out. Anyway that dosnt change that some units only way to to anything but cosmetic damage BBs IS fire. BBs are the last unit that needs a buff especally when fire damage can be 100% repaired..and the "nerf" do not counter the toxitidy of RN HE meta becasue fires are not the problem of that HE pen damage IS......its like nerfing kabas ruder and Torps.....yea Khaba was allways feared for her Torps and ruder .....
