They do but the prats of armor they overmatch isnt worth specing into it so for 8 inch guns the damage boost isnt that significant. So Free or not its a adavantage that dont comes into efect that often. -

Wich heavy cruiser dont skill for a reasoin........it helps a bit agist certain armor parts but you pay in fire chance and raw alpha -
Funny thing is in the same game I atacked a gneisenau that turned in not out and it reduced the number of hits to 4 and it was handicaped by an Island too. ITs an op CVs fault when you do the wrong thing in a BB

Yawn the x-0-3 setup is in since the 1st all GZ owners test after Gamescom why do you expect it to work diferent with the same number of strike planes? Given that the output of the 3 strikeplanes is unchanged its VERY likely this is one of the live setups or would you like this bettter? Or from this Testcycle with just 2 TB Squads:

Seriously that means we can get Lo Yang refunded because you changed the ship? How many Tickets did you get raging about her flag wich represent a runaway Chinease province in the real world? If in the Year this ship was live so serious formal complains were filed why make a amends that arent asked for now? You PR department fucked up in their statment not your design department in creating the Flags for the panasia Techtree. The comuniy was looking forward (especaly Tailands? Elefant flag). That was one thing to look forward too in an otherwise copy ship tree with specals that nobody uses if he had and idia how the game works...... Apologies for the wrong statment and be done with it. next you call Yamato whale and remove all imperial symbols fom all servers like on that chinease one to not ofend them? -

A Blue whale is harder to dodge than IJN Torps. What sink or swim the whole DW Torp isue is how many ships you can hit and if they do more damage because a baseline US torp can hit BBs as good without being having a castrated target selection. If you want to bring that concept to IJN DDs thogh dont brother becasue if they cant sink DDs with Torps on a lucky hit they stand no chance whatsoever in a DD vs DD fight 1:1....and think about buffing Shimas conceilment becasue its allready hard to live with us gundboats having the same or sligtly better stealth, A Gering clone with more stealth agist a boat that once in 2 min can try to torp or is dead is NO fun. -
You underestimate a few things. When DDs spot another DD during cap confrontations they aren't usally allready in a away position. Yugumo usally due to the stealth advantage can avoid geting spoted in the 1st place by cutting speed and turning in. That gives you a huge advantage in reaction time Shima can't and is under fire often before she had any time to react. and IJN DDs bleeds a lots speed in a turn after doing a 180 you usally in the low 20 kn range. If a gering just pushes on you and you dont land the lucky torp he an get as close as 4 km before you build up speed again. At that range your in a world of pain if you don't smoke up and if you wave to avoid a pushing gunboat you cant outrun them. Shima speed is advantage if you open up at longer range like to reset a cap but not so much in a capencounter at minimum spoting distance.

Not so clear cut again shima smoke is needed because it's rather slugish and don't enjoy a stealth advantage over gunboats that rip her a new one each time she gets spoted at minimum detection range. Stealth and significantly so is the sole reason Yugumo is clearly better than shima while Fletcher vs gering isnt so clear cut.

Who cares about range in a US DD? Gering can fire 4 Guns on atack vector while keeping a slim profile. It's Torps can hit ships that aren't pushing into you unlike any other US DD. Fletcher has its ownupsides like stealth being more nibble and being less prone to BB AP pens but it's no clear cut thing like Yugumo vs Shima. also gering playstlye highly depends on modules and captain skillchoices. It does well what you chose to do well.

cvs, quite frustrating little things

What CVs provide: They force Movenet. A ship siting still is geting hammered. They provide scouting. Making pushes in DD controlled water posible breaking pasiv standoffs and making pushes posible. Provide forceprojection anywere on the map culling wounded or single targets that move to far away from suport. What CVs canot do: Be at every corner of the map at the time or provide scouting/AA cover at mutiple ereas without impactoing its other operations. Atacking ships that move in groups. Intercept every singe stike of the enemy CV (because the diference between fighter and strike planes is rather low to the point that enpty stike planes outrun fighters) Duo manage thing at 2 map areas at the same time. ( I had cases were a DD was geting hammered with my fighters near while i sunk the enemy CV eleminating another strike at him for the rest of teh game still geting insulted each time i said something for the rest of the game becasue he let a Ranger land 2 Tolrps on his Maham. yea my fault that A US DD with insane ruder shift cant avoid slow US Torps) Do 10 plus stikes a game ( Due to rearm and your usally limited to 3 to 4 Strikes per game each wich can at time be fouled by things like scoutfighters, pressing a T key of a DD at 3km with no way for planes to go out of the AA zone alive or the enemy CVs intercepting the strike.) -
Germ BB only AP Bombs are just wrong....especally if you gimp higher tir TB survivability........

I just read the last few coments and nearly laghed my BEEP off. What should a CV do in tease or such situation ...... did the team left a escord by the CV to shield him from suprise atacks? were does that enttitelment comes from? A CV Like any other players goal is to win the game. How he does it is HIS choice and all thease whiners that think they are entitled 99% of anothers players atention at his own expense can just get sunk. CVs dont care about this or that player if they have any skill. They know their limitations very well and know were they can change things or were they cant. on top of all the demands they play a minigame the the mirror enemy CV that alone can totaly wreck their game. If you want your pet CV go play in tornaments. And sometimes teh enemy CVs players is just better, Thats no reason to rage agist your own unless he does something colesal stupid like using a sec build and go hunt BBs with guns.... -
You can argue all you want Panasia are incoming funny when a Gering Hull is more stealthy than a shima WG DONT care as long as they stay one the most played ships

How many times have you ruled the fun of a cruiser? Not that it matters if you had full AA unless you spec manual AA in a Bismark with us bomber groups....

Not with US base torps detectionwise. Hiting with them was never a problem to begin with detection wise unlike IJN ones. If they go that way you basically trade def fire and some Hp for bettter conceilment commpared to US. If nobody select DW or Radar that is, -

One question is it unfair if a lexi does that kind of damage to a DD with 1000lb Bombs (percentage wise?) Flamu chose an atypical build as DD defence becasue normally you never skill man secondarys especally at at ship with that abysmal stealth as GZ. <wjats teh point that a T8 CV weacks a T6 ship? any CV can do that even if others use more skill and less rng on the other hand GZ suffers greatly at higher Tir in that loadout usally losing 5-7 lanes on the way in. This version is more balanced (test 2) in its strike power compared to 2-3-0 or 0-3-2 or 1(2)-0-3 were it do not matter how much AA you have you near sure dead even at T10 there is another vid: https://clips.twitch.tv/AnimatedRepleteOrcaPeteZarollTie Just for your Info i did one shot Lexis under def fire since with the 2-0-3 Loadout its nothing specal. GZ I testet praktisch die Fighter. Gz II testet den damageoutput wen nur 2 TBs da sind wobei die eine staffel mit 10 DB relativ gut auch mit AP bomben sein kann. Bevorzuge aber Anti DD mit HE -

The cocept of a pure antii BB conter is flawed from the start. Look at panasi more stealthy than US nearly as stealthy as IJN and Guns that sure wreck any IJN at detection range and DW Torps when tease pesky DDs are gone. A reson why yugumo works with TRB is that is has a significant stealthbonus and not just 100-200 m over Gunboats, yes it depends of your team to get rid of the target it keeps spoted but it works wich makes her the best IJN Torpedo DD Becasue Shima cant do that. and add insult to injury Panasi T10 has more stealth....... Shima NEEDS a buff but WG keep "its the most played T10 DD" crap totally ignoring thats its the worst and new aditions that specifically wrecks it wont make it better.Dont get me wrong Shima isnt a unplayable DD but most play her because they love IJN Ships not becasue its a OP ships that is even remotely competiv anymore. -
Nobody care we are plying a game not politcs. The developer decides what flags he can and canot show if your not contend with that tehre are mods to bring back the real flags. Whats the point ? Is the Taiwan flag a baned symbol? As far as i know the chinease server has its own lalala alternate reality were they dont have to face things they dont like. What's Chinese servers look like: A fully independence server called "Kongzhong". Run by ching chong Chinese developers. Japanese ships get the "censored hammer" (removed Imperial Seal, flag changed and name changed too, lol lol.) Example renamed ship: 大和 (Yamato / Da He）= 鲸 （whale)... IJN Whale... They can slap any Premium ships (like Missouri tier 9 premium, is actually a reskin Iowa, meh) and recent QnA that they planning to add Royal Navy premium cruiser (an Arethusa-class cruiser, Aurora if i recall which were given to PRC rename as "Tchoung King").

Rewards sind aber auch einfach witzlos jedes abdere schiff kriegt das 3 fache an exp und credits für das was ein CV kriegt...dazu jedes 2te neue prem ein flackmonster AA Buffs für schiffe die das bestimmt nicht brauchen und in den letzten 2 jahren nicht mal in der lage eine UI zusamenzuschustern die besser ist als Dune Battle for arakis aus den Tiefsten 90ern. Stat dessen hauen sie einen prem CV nach den anderen raus und versieben selbst das total. WG will bestimmt vieles aber egal was sie sagen sie wollen bestimmt weder das wer nen CV anfängt nochihne erspielten weiterlevelt......
