    And you still dont understand that most of the sample you are talking about is irreleveant since it dosesnt even closely reflect the patch we are playing at the moment. Your asking for teh curent Sims to be buffed do you? Not the Sims at the start of the OBT. Edit:EsaTuunanen would you rather only have its old Torpedos? As i stated the new ones gives you Options If you dont want to use them just use the old ones and you have the same Sims it allways have been.

    If you want it for credits earning only i fully agree with you its not best choise. But if i didt misinterpred you, you OP was about how it compare statwise vs other DDs calling it useless or a port decoration. Here is were i disagree. Hiting Targets just outside detection range is a skill nessesarry to master in US DDs having more range gives more options. If thats not your style use short range Torpedos skill last stand and clear out Cap points. More dangerous but also gives decent exp/credits if pulled of sucessfull. 3 games off the Bat nothing too unusall:

    Well i wanst trolling and i never called it a great ship. I said its a good crewtrainer and that it is. Its working in its role. And while i dont have problems that you want to make a case out of of an isume you feel strongly about i want you to take a look at the fondation your build your case around. Warships stats shows the average since OBT started. You might agree with me that WoWs isnt exactly the same game it was at the start of the OBT. To build a case around statistics it would be better to compare how Level 7 DDs perform for the last 2 patches since especally US DDs got overall buffs in the last few patches that will not show in an statistic going back as far. I make my case from actually having played all Level 7 DDs but the Kiew in OBT. While you have a bit more game in the Sims that i have you have 0 line US DDs and should exactly understand what i did mean when i said "3 skillpoints at T7 is a uphill battle." Looking at your stats thogh you underperform in any of your DDs at the moment. There is much room for improvement and i say that from a stadpoint were i certainly dont claim to be the greatest DD captain (more pretty average). If you use one of the other function on the site you use you find shipcompare and while it dosent shows all the points if gives a good base to see the pro and cons of ships. Back to the case. Some rightly quoted that Maham has one turret more and as such more DPSs (especally if you count in its upgraded Torpedos). But does that means the Sims should be fully compareble to a fully upgraded conterpart? Sims has its own pros. Its faster wich makes keeping distance from CAs that cruising bow fist a lots easyer. its more nibble and has faster turning Turrets. And lastly it has 1.5km more firing range with AFT than a B Hull Maham. Its Torpedos arent great granted but its an option it didnt had before. before it needed to close to suicide range to use them now it has at least the option. Does every Prem ship has to be a Murmansk that outshine its "normal" oposition? The real question should be can you make it work? From my expirence the aswer is yes with an exirenced captain certainly. It might not be able to carry a game on its own but it gets it job done. Will do a few game over the weekend to see if i get any real diference since i last played it to make sure.
  4. I bet the income diverence is much worse on the asia server. Question here is would pricing for low income meets the targeted profit overall. Economics tend to get pretty ugly for Those that cant spend as much. Then again having a Internet conection and a PC able to run a WG title gives then something to calculate around.
  5. Habs selbst schohn gemacht direkt am anfang des matches nachden ich 3 mal hintereinander als Taiho ne Midway als "balanced" gegner hatte bevor der total matched MM patch kam . Zugegeben unsportlich aber wen man 0.0 chance hat und 2 mal vorher eh nach 2 min verstenkt worden ist wars halt ne frust reaktion. Alternativ hätte man auch direkt quiten können. Glücklicherweise gibts das nun nichtmehr. Edit: Also würde ich Frust als Hauptgrund sehen kein anderes schiff auser CV kann in situationen kommen wo es nichtmal den hauch einer chance hat noch zumindestens etwas schaden zu machen. Kanns schohn verstehen wen man ne strike ryojo spielt in nen level 8 spiel kommt wo man eh mit der flak aleine zu kämfen hat und er gegner noch 2 Anti air Indipendence hat die motivation nicht besonders hoch ist.
  6. Does the average RU player earn the same as the average EU player? Im pretty sure WG analyzed the spending habits on each server to maximise their profit. They would be stupid not to. Nobody argues that someone in indonesia dosent have the same living expenses than someone in germany. Company are there to earn money the only qustion is:is the product worth spending on? Thats the qurstion everyone can only aswer for themself.

    And my point was ; Manny CBT player who own it dindt started to replay the US DD line at the start of the OBT since they wanted to try something new. Especally since suddelly DDs were much more fragile then they were in CBT. A level 7 DD with short range Torps (the long range didnt exist till recently) in games mostly with Atagos/atlantas/Warspites and later Tirpitzes and fast Leveleing CVs didnt exactly boosted the stats overall. Especallys when its only good grace (inv gun fire) has a rather small window without AFT. Now you have more expoirenced captains but the competions especally is more rqual. Its still a good Crewtrainer. But u cant look at not so much played Prem on its own. its not like an Maham were you sure the player has hundereds of US DD games under its belt automatical.

    Well only if you have gone thogh the US line. I didnt touched my Sims before i got to the Nicolas.Especaly for DDS Captain skills greatly improve your surviability. 3 skillpoints at T7 is a uphill battle.

    It got buffed allready and was utill recently better than the Maham. The shellarc isnt something new for US DDs. What could be more of a factor might be people that drive her without an expirienced US DD captain..
  10. After taking a bit of a break from CV and Div with some of my friends i retryed CV for a bit.Something a noticed in the T6 to T7 gameplay. Anybody is playing fightersetups. Strike get reduculess contered or cant deal out damage anymore I tryed Strike Ryojo,Strike Hirujo and Base Independence and strangely the best game i got were in the independence thanks to the still working Torpedo spread. In the others its hard to get over 100k credits with an prem acount with results like 2-3 torp hits 4 Bomb Hits and 14 to 19 Planekills. While i dont think CBT Level of CV power were any good either for the game i do belive either there are too many conter to CVs at mid Level or CVs are nerfed too much. In its curent form it gets reduced to totally point and click suport and playing a game of chicken with your balanced MM conterpart reducing yourself to doing practically nothing or losing all when going too agresive. I dont see too many going to togh it out and level to higher tir when its neither fun or rewarding at all unless ur opponet is afk or sleeping. Any thoghts about the curent state of CV gameplay?

    If you have moved to close to a smokescreen it wont be rendered anymore 3 km sounds a lots like auto proximity spoting inside a smokescreen. otherwise if the smokescreen was covering part of the area or it came behind an Island: With engine boot its a dam fast ship and cover 3 km pretty fast unless ur heading is facing away. If your were looking away in sniper mode you have a good chance to reakt too slow to notice. I myself killed 2 New York in my 1st battle with a Mutski from point blank range one with firing outside a smoke screen one from sprinting up while it was engaged by another ship and reaced to late when it noticed its 2edarys starting to open up on me.

I have bought any prem ship that i could up till now and i will in the future too unless its a rediculess package like the Pz2 J one on WoT What i find upseting about all this bundle posts is the acursation that the bundles will make WoWS fail/lose players. Nobody forces anybody to buy bundles nor is there a lack of non prem content. If something have a major impact on WoWS its bad balance or making classed "unfun" to play rather tham some prem ships. As long as i have fun playing i have no problem paying for prem content. Thats my take on the isume

    Solange DDs sie spoten überlebt ne Kitakami keine 30 sek. Jeder HE treffer hat ne gute chance sie zur explusion zu bringen ,-). Solange sie die Torpedoreichweite nicht auf 15km hochsetzen ist die relativ harmlos.

    CV gameplay geting a tad rediculess.(T6-7)

    Define OP. In the "AA free eviviroment" of T4 to 5 i managed 28 planekills in a Murmansk. No latehull BB past T 3 are exactly totally defenceless even without air cover IF it react before the planes are at 2 km. That changed. Lower Torp speed with higher looked distance means ship have much more time to avoid most CV damage if they not totaly braindead and that multiplys as it goes up in level especally agist IJN because they dend to lose planes before they deliver their ordonace much more than US. I have been playing CV since closed beta (T9 in both lines cbt T9IJN/T6US OBT). There are too much counters. Geting around 50k silver with and prem acount with and 2/2/2 Hiruyo and being forced to play very passivly or lose all your planes is 0 fun. In the same Token T5-7 US US gameplay is plain boring because if you want to have fighters and Torpedobombers you have 1 less Squad in the air compared to later decks. I dont play CV exclusively atm especally since i play with some friends at now T6 leveling up german CA but i have most ships at t6 to t7 and have little problem dealing with the few CV i enconter. Having an atack frequency of 1 per 2 to 4 minutes and being contered by even by "unskilled" players by the press of a butom isnt exatly fun especally if you cant escord your atack planes or risking beting one shoted by your oponents planes. Reaction time even for lone unsuported BBs is geting much too high Im asking to be able to deal with the ship im suposed to counter (BBs) Im not asking to sink 4 plus ships left and right every match. And yes i do get 100k damage matches in IJN from time to time but mostly when my team is winning anyway.

    I dont have problems with MM but as IJN thanks to the nerfed Torp speed and and larger atack circle im hard pressed to land more than 1 Torp on any 20 kn BB that is paying any atention and to add insult to injury then do less damage than 1 good CA AP salvo would with near 0 chance or flooding for 3 min geting into position. and thats only if im unoposed by CA abilits CA and BB Floatfigters or some US DDs thats for some reason really needed the CA Panic ability as well or my MM oponent Fighter. When in some situations Dive bomber sudenly do more damage on manuel atacks then your Torpedo bombers something is really off.

    Like the release of Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout and some console specific titles. Not saying some isumes with the curent patch dont also casue a lose of players but if someone invested time into something and its no fun for the moment he might still come back when things are more fixed.

    Since the last 2 were exactly the same they were released before i dont think Tirpitz if she comes will be any different. Well I hope one of the actions will be a non released ship i allready have any of the Premium that were on sale including the 3 Preorder ones. Anyway anybody that were here from the start of the open beta had a chance to get the Warspite without a bundle and nobody said it wont ever again be around without one. Any whing about WG will lose your money wont do you any good because they dont care because they sell enogh or they wouldnt price things like they do. Also remember while there is a vocal part of the comunty that really hate bundles they dont represent the WOWS player base. Most players dont even visit the forum and just play for fun. In the end anything beond a major comunity and youtuber uproar like on the WÓT decal slot markings wont change their stance and i dont see that coming unless they bundle 5 euro ships that surekill 5 plus same level ships only with 1 year prem acount.

    Its a question of survivability. A DD that can keep firing Torps unspoted (and BTW not only IJN but US can do that also at T7 plus. A Gearing has exactly the same Stealth rating than a Shima BTW) is more likely to survive than and 12 pls km spoing range CA that will do down in 2 to 3 good BB salvos (and you cant dodge all while still trying to screen your team unless you want to hide behind your BBs) . Also with the loss of CV Players especally US CA lose an predictable income from Planekills as well as now having ships who have semi useless Captain skills and Modules installed.

    And any BB isnt fun for any CA whts the point? It werent a problem when DDs were permaspoted by planes and killed instantly. You asked for CV to be nerfed again and again and again now you have the results. Its not like a Shima can shoot 15 torps every 16 seconds lie a T2 DD. Changing course every 30 should be enogh to avoid most unless they are ued as area denial and you go there anyway. Or you just play low to mid Tir WG will take notice and i think they allready have and will fix CV gameplay pretty soon. Lets hope they are not on drugs while doing it. At the Moment US vs IJN balace is totally out of place on CVs mostly thanks to mm matchmaking anybody takes Figher builts till T9. Forced waittime and everchanging crapy game mechanics that now dont even net a profit exp/ silver wise sure wont bring back too much CVs, to provide a more balanced and less static gameplay at higher tirs.

    Which premium?

    Murmask is fun. I dont like Aurora becasue once you have AFT its shellarc is more useless than any Clevland/Atlanta ever will be. Tripitz /atago are okish but T8 gameplay overall isnt very fun. I found Warspite quite fun with sec bat mod and AFT. Emp Nikolei is quite good too as long as you dont get into a T+2 match.If you ever get the chance get an Gremmy prem DD its VERY fun Blaskawica is okis but suffers from high Tir games a bit. Yubari is okis to good with an AFT comander. Sims is nice too especally with the long range Torpedos giving it options. Atlanta is ....ok if you can get to play on its strengh wich isnt easy because of the gun ark and limited range even with an AFT comander. Mikasa is.....plainly VERY Bad if your enemy know its only good point. Fujin is a very good prem Minekaze. Murmask is the safe bet and you can allways get her. Of the others some might be on sale in the coming weeks if your interested there should be more detailed descriptions here on the forum.

    Well the only way not make Graf Spee worse than a regular Deutschland class as a Prem is to not add the later to the game wich would be a huge loss because its one of the more numberous capital ship class wich actuall existed and isnt a WG Blueprint found by a drunken sailor on a beach somewere. Graf Spee being sunk 1939 didt get any upgrades the ships that survived most of the war did.

    Exept that High Tir on WoWS dont needs more Skill because they way Armor works different like in WoT were Skilled Players can avoid most Damage in certain Classes. HighTir games degrade to boarderhuging matches were Teams dont leave their Bases and cluster together to one shot anybody who is stupid enogh to split from the team and atacking them alone. Were you have decent fun and interesting Matches at low/mid Tir you have RNG Long Range Fire and Torpeso Fights till one side has an number advantage high enogh to overroll the enemy in high Tir. The absence of CVs make it worse because now you dont have the need to aceive something fast or get blown away by a CV. Mirrored MM while fair enogh also let most players take Fighterbuilds wich is more rewarding than stike at mid Tir because a contered strike CV that can only land 3 Torp 3 Bomb hits and shoot down 3 Planes while geting masacared gets less than 100k even with Prem. Not talking about High end were you dont need to start if your not US anyway.

    Ich habe nix wen es nur dafür sorgen würde das low und mid Tir noch bevolkert sind nur machen T8 Gefechte in einigen Klassen so gar keinen spass mehr weil jeder am Kartenrand rumeiert weil er angst hat ne Millionen an Reperaturkosten zu zahlen nur weil ihn ne Möwe aufs deck geBEEPschisBEEEEP hat. Kein Spielspass= keine spieler in bestimmten Schiffen= Unausgewogenes MM= noch weniger Spieler in den entsprechenden Klassen.
