Well IJN gets Fighterloadouts too at Time outnumbering US in numbers but since they lose their 1st faster due to squad size its really no grated win or lose. Either way with the repaired figher barage manuel skill its more or less rolett anyway. Havent seen what will happes if a 4 plans squad and a 6 plane one get baraged into each other but basicall the skill is so overpowering that its dominates figher meta at the moment. IJN got nerfed again again and again. Slower Torps now, If you lose a squad you get higher ready time, lower Torp and bomb damage over US. On the Good side manuel DB for IJN is pin point. You can score 4 hits agist biger ships (wich does less damage than 1 to 2 US autohits but well better than nothing). Hiting DDs with Torps is now near imposible thanks to the lower Torp speed. and the spreads for both changed. You can now hit afk players with 4 Torps as IJN.

With gunmodule she is pretty acurate if you suprise ships you can score at max range at your opening salvos if the didnt see it coming or ignore it because its long range fire.Around 100 to 175 hits on a normal round unless u get a level 10 match were you dance around shima Torps and Yamato rounds.

Then why does it hit IJN more ? If i enter a CA zone and he trigers with me being inside the zone there is near 0 chance that a fokused squad will survive. Also IJN lost the faster ready time advantage they had at the start a long time ago. This hits AGAIN the side wich have the lower chance to drop before they lose planes and has the much worse TB Spread plus lower Torp AND Bomb damage? See a patern there?

Well will play a few more games but at least it dont feel that way yet. Edit :2 more games only at the 3red i was citadelled because i had to break off a screening try and 2 Iowas had the luck to be reladed when i turned (really fun when their BBs suport their CAs at closer range when our hug the far boarder)

Yes Atago when agled can get citadelled consitenly.(both happed to me and done myself agist) Granted i played only 1 game yet in Kutuzov so it might have been lucky but i lost about 1/3 of my hp to normal hits from an Amagi not a single citadels.

Found the Kutsu quite resistant if you angle her in my 1st game. Shell velocity and arc isnt anywere near Clevland. Its a decent ship well placed at T8. Atago more multipurpose especally with its low detection range. Both have their charms but the repair ability usally wont save you in the more fragile Atago. The direct smoke gets you out of a sticky situation...once.

You cant give it a better arc or it would out DPS anthing around itd Tir. If it catches a Pensa below 10 km the Pensa is toast as it is. Its the downside that it needs to creep close to actually do damage.

Its part about being a good player to know the stats of ships you face. Torpedoranges for DD and CA arent that difficult to remember expext perhaps US with their uneven values but 9kmish for a Maham for example will do anyway. -
Well that was something you coundl work around when you still had faster Torps. It didnt worked anyway (at least at T9) since you needed all your fighter too take down that one US Strike decks fighter and he would sink you if you did that. In nearly every game were i resonable defended myself before the Barage changes i actuall run out of fighters agist Strike because i had to send them agist the TBs and only had one to look the fighter wich kills it instantly. Not talking about what US reagunners do to your fighters too. The only real defence vs strije is a escoting CA in a division so you can actually play since CV sniping is en voge at higher tir since the mapsize dont change anymore ans planes are fast.

Und CVs müssen generft werden weil du Probleme mit Essex/Midway hast? Wen das deine meinung ist warum fragst du dan nicht für nen nerf für die beiden schiffe anstelle für CVs in allgemeinen? Oder muss der rest unspielbar sein damit 2 schiffe ausgeglichen sind? -
What your saying is that ships with higher masts should domiate upen waters when open water gives said ships allready the advantage of not being restricted in Movement. DDs are balaced by their detection range. an spoted dd under 10km from another ship is very soon a dead dd. Or do you want all DDs like the RU ones at higher level? Taking 22 203 mm HE shells and sinking cruisers in a strait fight?

And defending themself is all whats CV are about. Thanks to the repaired fighter barage skill you can now mow down the sky clear. Thats not exactly what IJN looks for to have fun. IJN was about killing ships before you lost all your planes now you just lose them faster or take 80% of your concentration to get the barage skill going. I didt played CV to keep the sky clear when i chose IJN.

Actually they did but its a arcade game and DDs need to be able to deal with BBs and CAs one at one too. In real live DDs were never 1 one 1 agist CAs or BBs. Funny when people allways go for the "realism" card when something dont go their way while totaly ignoring that repairing a BB takes a Drydock and 6 month plus of time. in 2 words: ITS ARCADE !!

Auf low level gibts scout CAs die sehr agil sind. Mit nen 13km detecton Range schiffen under beschuss die eigenen BBs screenen während zusätzlich Fächer im wasser sind ist für Schwere Kreuzer so ein ding. Es brauch nur 1-2 glückliche treffer und dan reicht den gegnerischen BBs/CA auch mal ne nicht cit salve und man ist geschichte. High stealth DDs erledigen den job bei long range Alen nebenbei ohne sich dabei selbst in gefahr zu bringen. Und als CA in nen spiel von nen CV erwischt zu werden ohne def fire ist kritischer als ohne Sonar gegen DDs zu spielen. Eine andere möglichkeit das zu buffen ist es einfach Kreuzern wen es doch ihr Job sein sollte eine erhöhte Erfassungsreichweite gegen Torpedos zu geben anstelle immer an den parametern der Torpedos selbst rumzufuschen.

Was mich was iritiert ist da steht erhöht die reichweite. Dh mit activen sonar sieht man einen 6km stealth DD dan auf 11km? -
Fährt man seinen eigenen DDs hiterher in groszügigen abstand spoten die für einen die Torpedos von alleine. Auserden trauen sich die CAs auch mal vor wen die Schlachtschiffe nicht den Kartenrand küssen. Ansonsten umsichtig fahren und wen mal an anderen ende der karte nen DD gespoted wird auch mal in die teamliste sehen und schauen was da an ungespoteten Gefahren auf der eigenen seite geben können. Und sich merken welcher DD was für ne Reichweite hat. Ne Maham auf 15 km? keine Gefahr. Ne Fubuki plus? mal den Kurs/Geschgwindikeit ändern. DDs spoten ist der job der eigenen DDs nicht der von high end CAs . Die sollten allerdings auch nicht zu weit von den eigenen DDs entfernt sein und diese zu unterstützen,wen dies nicht selbstmord heist weil 2 3 BBs zu nahe kommen.

Actually Yubari rocks. You forget that you can place in a IJN CA captain in it without retraing. WIth AFT and higher burn percentage you not only get one of the best active AA ships (my personal best is 30 planekills) but also a decent firestarter. T 4 is a transitlevel and Yúbari function as a decent sealcluber if you put a skilled comander in it,-) If there would be any buff needed it would be the Level 5 Equipment slot alowing her to increase her AA range by another 20 percent. -
Why the hell are tier 6 CVs getting matched with tier 8 BBs and CAs?

Well a Level 6 CV would have a field day if he is highest he has an uphill battle if matched agist T8 as long as the matchmaker balanced it out and dont try to fill the lack of mid level CVs by playcing them expentional often in a high tir match i dont see the problem. -

Yea go to the low level enviroment I need to get past my 28 Planekills in my Murmask or 30 in my Yubari. Viva la AA free low level! Let any CV player think there is no aa especally with their slow low HP planes ,-))) -
Give them both and remove sonar being able to spot inside smoke so DDs have an escape mechanism. That would helps CA utility at high level without trying to change other parameters that case them to be near imun to their suposed conter.

T0ffik1: What exactly has win rate to do with being a good or bad player. Unless your playing with a good 3 ship division you normaly cant singlehandly influence the game to get above average in the long run. Average Exp or damage done in a ship are better indicators if someone is good or bad if the sample size is large enogh.

Ohne replay würde ich kurz treten 20km Torps sind ne weile im Wasser und es gibt immer situattionen wo man nicht einberechnet was die eigenen Spieler machen. Hatte auch mal be Benson die mir immer kurz vor der nase rumgetorkelt ist und als er mal abgedreht ist und ich meine fubuki 15km Torps gefeuert habe dan plötzlich voll reingedreht ist. Ist nochmal gut gegangen aber so was kann auch mal unbeabsichtlich ins auge gehn. -
Well armor wont help beond beond 12 plus km since shots become plunging anway. Have citadeled cruisers in my Colerado/Nagato that were very well angled but were at long range. Only ship that is a pain are Clevelands because they dont have as much citadel space as other cruisers. I personally find being weak agist BBs isnt the bigest weakness for CAs at high level its more not having a real role . Fewer CV and high BB self defence AA leaves the AA cooldown useless in many games while trying to shield the fleet from DDs put you in high risk from their torps and BB/CA fire. Perhaps giving them sonar and def fire AA at the same timemight be a way to go to up their utility( thogh in this case smoke should block it or it scews DD totally)
