Is the Manual AA skill/perk worth it?

Its worth if you go full aa and have dual 127mm guns so mainly clevland Baltimore Des Moins and Atlanta you miss out on T5 skills i personaly find if you dont go in a division with a CV its most usefull on Cleavland since CV become rare beond T6 for BBs i dont think so there are much betetr skills -
Oh that rich ,-) if you lable animes generally as kids stuff i really hope you dont show Fritz the Cat or Bible Black to your 6 year old kid if you ever have one. Animes are more than black and white you get anything from kid stuff to action to romance to comedy to educational to porn.

Ship:HMS Repulse because she Looks beautyfull. Techtree: Italian CA because Zara is a nice lookig ship. -
Just because a Warspite woudnt win a fight at above 15kn vs a Fuso dont make her a Bad ship. At under 7km she gives any ship something to think about. She is one of the better balanced prem. On the upside anyone missing out on her yet stands a resonable Chance to get her next time without a bundle thanks to WG seemenly changing their standpoint on that case.

Bad example. Most of the ob CV problems were caused by people rushing up the trees Causing CV to be placed unnaturaly often as high tir. Also if you following your logic most DDS are still need to be buffed because their DPS is still far lower than BBS Despite the overall outcry agist them. -
Does this buff equaly roghly the old ones plus all teh 155mm buffing skills? Might it be that MK was designed around that stats but giving it and having the skills work on top of it till the skill changes would have been totally OP? Now if we are talking the nerfs to the mogami because she was the most fun and working example of an T8 CA instead of bringing the rest of the CAs up to mogami level we have a reason to discuss something. Nerfs are bad especally when all CA are low on surviability vs BBs wich are the main prob for CA much more than this CA is better vs this other CA.

Not really it came out shortly before the skillchanges. Image it would get its curent stats and all the skills would work on it. As it is now is as it was designed. Now if you want to argue they gone overboard with nerfing the most fun T8 CA insead of bringing the others up to its level i thertainly agree ,-) -

Yea righ best give BBs 20km sec with laser guided radar contolled secondarys vs DDs so the last ship that can do anything about BBs goes away and they can merryly driving at 5 km bow 1st forward then the same backward killing anything that actually moves like a real ship left and right. You actually understand that the nerf of CV is what actually cause DDs to overperform atm? What to nerf DDs down? whats when a CV is in the game then? he can quit at the start of the game? Give CV a boost and you have less DD problems and US CA get actually something to do others than dieing horible to BB shells. -

Was ein wenig sinlos ist das jedes Schiff ne andere radar reichweite hat (davon abgesehen das russen besseres haben als Amis aber ok das sind ja ende 40er schiffe ,-)). Aber mal ehrlich wen trift das Radar? Mituki Hatsu Fubuki und alle anderen nicht IJN DDs. Wer macht die probleme in high Tir? Shima ? Warten wir mal auf nerf runde 2 für DDs wen das gewhine weitergeht. Mein Tip ist als nächtes kommt die zurücksetzung der Torpedosichtungsdistanz. -

Hunting DDs requires CA to get close to DDs wich are usally teh enemy 1st line. That means tehy get spoted 1st wich in Turn means any enemy CA abd BB will concentrate fire on said CA. Its CA surviability vs BBs that are teh main reason they cant do their job. What would you target at 15km as a Ca? a DD you never hit or a BB your likely to hit to get any exp out of the game? I wouldt call CA idiots when it WGs balance and gamplay vision that dont allows them to do their job. and do you seriosly think any DD with a Torp range of 15km plus will get close to a Radar CA if all he has to do is to wait till your BBs habe killed the pushing DD detector ? -
At the distance you actually spot a IJN DD your gunarc is flat enogh. your would only benefit from doing invis firing vs BB/CA if it would flaten out more. Both nations work well enogh agist a spoted IJN DD if he dosent has his Trops ready 15 72 kn torps from 5.4 km can be difficult to dodge even for the best DD. But your right on the cont that if a CA dont survive radar is useless. Add to that if NO and Baltimore go for a guardian build they dont field stealth modules they wont work well agist shimas. Well if you have to chose between def fire and radar your have a problem anyway because US CA excels at AA and i thertainly wouldt throw my survivability vs CV out of the windows to hunt DDs that can see me beound 12km anyway

Yes but try to hit anything with Fubuki Torps from a distance its pure RNG they pay for their range with speed. 20 sek spoted in a DD is a death sentence if your under 10km even if you dont die you have half your modules destroyed and are burning. A shima on the other hand has torps with higher damage and bigger speed is much less effected from lanching further away mid the fact that with its speed compared to any IJN DD after Mitsuki it can much easyly maintain her disstance something Kagaro and Fubuki struggle with while maneuvering vs pushing Cruisers. Thats why i compare this to the CV type of nerfs . Midway is op so lets nerf all CV till Minway is still OP but any other CV are unplayable..... Radar wont change the shima problem too much but affect your way to shima. Lets wait what they will do when all still whine about Torpedo walls. My guss is return old spoting distance for Torps. -

Why is the range rediculess? With 5.4 km spoting range you dont fire too many Torps at 15 km Targets The only real upside is that you can hit Targets that are heading away from you or Braindead players after you missed your real target that didnt react to Toprs that are spoted. -

Well i want to RNG Trop from outside Radar range losing range isnt as import anymore by changing skills . Mituki Haru Fubuki and all other non IJN DDs will be hit hard by this crap. Kagaro and Shima wich are the real problem if you belive teh BB whiners for most dont care because 20km base range can outrange even with Torpedo aceleration. For me this is just another ploy to for Gold use to reskill. Its the CV nerfs all over agian. The ships thats are perceived as the problem are the least afected. I hope WG makes sure to acount for the even lower damage of DDs and give them 100kn Tops /sarcasm off. Ok next please create 200 posts a day BBs are op till they are nerfed into the ground too so we can play world of warnerv soon. Frist Cv now DD it never fails to amaze me. BTW i had a game today in my fubuki with 2 T6 CV per side....i could exactly land 1 Torp with planes anyway i hope they count that in when they give out Radar. -

As if T8 would be a problem please give a reset another free reset for skills for DDs so we can throw out the tropedo aceleration again to counter radar. -
Solange CA fix draufgehen dürch BB wird Radar auch nix bringen außer das DDS nun auf 12Km RNG torpedo bis die BBS die Kreuzer hinweggefegt haben. Tote Kreuzer benutzen kein Radar.

Ask CA drivers what they think about 4 BBs in a game.Geting Totaly demolished in 1 to 2 Salvos is sure to be fun for them and one of the reasons why CAs atm cant really suport your own side DDs without dieing fast to BB fire. Shimas arent a Problem as long as there are a equal spread of DDs in both Teams. For every shima that gets a Good games there are 2 that get nothing and get blown up early. Thats what is "average" damage. BB survivability is high enogh for them to get better overall. All the fuss is really only about the perception that you cant do anything about a DD in a BB becauase without the help of your team you will never see it. But thats the Point. BBs arent suposed to fight off any posible oponent on their own.

Niemand trift auf 20 Km das Ziehl auf das er geziehlt hat. Kagaro hat voll ausgeskillt eine detection range von 5.4 Km wer auf über 7 bis 10 km in einen IJN DD schiest tut das um ein Gebiet zu blockieren. Long range ist einzig dafür da auch ziehle zu bekämpfen die auf einen Kurs weg von einen sind oder aber eine chance nach einen fehlschuss doch noch jemand anderen der nicht aufpast zu treffen. Wirklich gefährliche Torpedos kommen immer von unter 7 Km den da hat das Ziehl keine 2 Jahre Zeit den Kurs zu ändern.

Das spoten kommt ganz von aleine wen sie versuchen in angriffposition zu kommen. Und sich mit um 30 kn schnellen BBs in Bereich von 7 bis 10 km hinter den DDs zu bleiben sollte man eigentlich ganz gut schaffen können. Probleme krigen BBs nur wen sie Yolo ohne den Topedospot skill pushen und das sollte auch so sein. Torpedos die auf 15 km abgeschossen werden sind nie ein Problem für BBs sondern die die auf um die 6-8 Km rum rausgehen.

12 DDs in spiel heist auch das die erstma sich selbst im weg sind und aufgedekt werden. Gibt den CA dan auch ne chance sie zu versenken wen sie sich nicht grade hinter den BBs am kartenrand verstecken. Sehe echt das problem nicht solange ein ausgegliches verhältnis von DDs auf beiden Seiten ist. Als BB braucht man sich keine Sorgen zu machen solange man eigene DDs zwischen sich und potenziellen gegnern hat den die fungieren als Frühwahrnsystem.
