yeah,I referred to the wrong post because I started writing something, and then I realized that it was nonsense so I deleted 90% of it and forget to change the post and such. not bad ship, though there are no limits on how many tier 5 premiums can be in the tree I kind of realized now something. The role of these pocket battleships and large cruisers were to engage and defeat normal heavy cruisers. And we have a hard time placing them in the tech tree now, because the game is dominated by battleships, they are the most numerous class, which means that cruisers are not a dominant force and there aren't as many of them that we actually need ships specifically crafted and designed to defeat them. So If Wg will not change the current meta and usurp the battleships, then there will not be any place for these ships in the tiers. Well, only as low level battleship jokes.

The Ansaldo Pj. 770 is a small battleship, with 11" side armor and 4" deck armor, but with only 6 13.5" guns, I would say tier 5 premium status would be nice for her.

AFAIK all DP guns in game have 1 DPS per barrel, whether it's a 5"/54 or a 76 mm The Oyodo's guns are actually not that weak. She's equipped with the same guns as the Mogami, and the 155 mm guns are comparable to the USN 6"/47 guns. With Cleveland being moved, which is kind of confirmed in the USN cruisers naval academy episode, the Oyodo can be a tier 6 ship, only question is which ship WG will put in tier 6. It will be probably either a 6 gun Pensacola design study, or an 8/9 gun Brooklyn design. The Pensacola study is interesting because it has the same turret layout as the Myogi. The Brooklyn design, well. It depends, If the ship has the same 140 mm armor belt and 6"/47 guns as the normal Brooklyn, then I doubt that the Oyodo would be feasible in tier 6. But I really, really hope It will be the Oakland, with that ship in tier 6, you can put a whole lot more cruisers in the trees much more comfortably (not to even mention it existed)

I also told him that If he wants to play a "real class" then go and play destroyers and cruisers since those ships won the pacific supporting the carriers and supply convoys.

Well, I mean The AH navy could go up to around tier ~6, they have some designs, maybe even tier 7. Also The Novara only had 100 mm guns, but there were plans to upgrade them with 120 or 150 mm guns, and there were plans to make another 3 ships with 30 kn speed and 120 mm guns, but They are still not tier 4 material. E.: I forget that the Tátra only has 2 x 100 mm guns, so She might me better at tier 2

I think the R2Y2 is the Jet bomber in Warthunder, they can carry one big bomb afaik. 2 years from now tier 10 CV planes will look like this: J7W2-3 Jet fighters, R2Y2 jet bombers,Naval Kikka's, Skyraiders, Banshees, BTD Destroyers, Attackers, Sea Meteors, German Horton jet bombers, Me 262 naval based fighters, Russian ekranoplans, and Mig 9s Eyy Boyz Wg's Make-a-dream department gonna go crazy

You could add the Novara and Tátra-class to the French and Italian navy as premiums, Like Both nations get some ships from the classes, and they are the few ships that can be nice premiums, like the whole Austro-Hungarian navy would probably only go up to tier 4 and even that might be a stretch. The Novara can be a tier 3, similar to the Phoenix but slower and overall weaker. Same with the Tátra nice tier 3 destroyer.

Yeah, the "probably barely could land" covers that part I do not think that other than the British and the American will have tier 10 aircraft that actually served on carriers in real life, like I do not really know many aircraft that can rival the Bearcat or Seafury, both of those were pretty much the pinnacle of piston engine fighters. Most fighters will be made up carrier conversions.

That is quite a half-assed approach, I think. Like, If you have jets in the game, then make sure that everyone have jets in the game. I mean, You can add the Tigercat as top fighters If you do not want to have jets for the Americans. And nearly all nations could have some kind of jet paper plane in their top tier CVs, The IJN already has the J7W which most probably could barely land on a carrier. Like, I don't know, This seems like an idea which no one really thought through. Well, Anyway as the saying goes: There is no such thing as too much freedom.

I did not really watched the video(but now I will watch it ), but I am guessing that if they are not trolling with these jets, then the IJN will probably get some as well. Like, It can be resolved with special MM for carriers, and the tier 10 is already borderline post-war stuff with the Des Moines, and Midway, '45 and '46 ships, even the Montana would be late war most probably, like '44-45 If they'd have been built(Banshee '48). Just looking through Wikipedia most nations which had carriers or developed carriers also had some kind of jet development so tier 10 jet fighters are doable. But If they are (E*) trolling then I guess we get the F7F Tigercat as the tier 10 fighter on the Midway.

I think there's two J7W with jet engine in WoWp, isn't there? I guess they add those, since they are already exist in WoWp, and all E: maybe the kikka?

Well, the Banshee was introduced into service in '48, Des Moines I think in '46, a '54 flight deck isn't that much far off I think But like It's just a flight deck, the ship even loses most of it's DP guns. So I doubt it would make the ship that out of place
