Why can't we use all the ships we have in 1 Mission? and why engaging time can be so long?
Draco850 replied to SkullAndBonesPotco's topic in Archive
First of all, Wargaming deliberately made this game NOT to look like other games... A few diffrences between WoWs and "war thunder" styles... WoWs: Warthunder: - Takes multiple hits from enemies to kill a ship. - Can be killing with a single shot - All ship compartments share the same healthpool. - All comparments of planes / tanks have their own healthpool and protection. These diffrences make the choices to have 1 or 3/4 units per battle.. Having more units per battle is basticly a war thunder feature... Copying other games would be a poor choice to "entice" war thunder players to play WG games instead.... Telling wargaming to implement things from Warthunder is bassicly the same as telling Android manufacturers to use i-phone tech instead... because more people will like it...... Either wait till Warthunder implements ships themselves and get one shotted in there or stop complaining and respect the choices WG has made.... -
Punishments and fines for TEAMKILLER and destroyers are not severe enough

A few thing that are very wrong with this "suggestion" for a few reasons.... 1) It can be exploited, meaning trolls or resentfull people can run into friendly torpedo's just to harass that player and gaining illigitimate credits for something THEY did... 2) the reward for getting killed would make trolls or people with low hp and a relative good game to find a friendly DD, get torped and then receive extra credits to get more credits out of their game... 3) 500K when you killed someone? you seriusly like to blame every torpedo class out there don't you? ofcourse some 12 year old who doesn't know an american DD can't hit anything past 4 or 5 km... Just because you get torped doesn't mean every other torpedo boat has to pay for it for the rest of the games existence..... As in all changes, the benefits of the masses will outweigh the benefits of the few... Thus this post won't get much / any thing changed except maybe a slight increase in the credits taken / given.... I vote to close this tread because of the lack of reasoning and information supplied to justify his demands.... -
Probably the Diana premium and diana-class regular ship... much like some premium ships ( Aurora ) beeing a premium version of the st. louis?

To be honest making every caliber have the same turntime would make every cruiser dependant on the number of guns alone..... This ignores any historical facts about technological and engineering advances that made the ships and nations diffrent from one another..... It's like the State of the art cruisers we have today SHOULD have the same turntime as one made a century ago.... It's because of the breakthroughs diffrent nation had the turntime of turrets are diffrent with each ship and nation as it should be.... The choices the shipbuilders have made at that time reflect the way you are going to play it, if you're going to complain about it.... A) Blame WG for not making it "more realistic" enough like so many other have done before OR B) Blame the engeneers at that time for not beeing smart enough to increase their turret rotation speed. C) Accept the fact that choices are beeing made to make diffrent ships, not a lot of ships with the same stats of their guns / torps / rotation etc... Might not be fair, but atleast a lot more interesting to figure out your own suitable ship.

Nemesis Reward - Nomination of an enemy ship at loading screen
Draco850 replied to OddityNZ's topic in Archive
Think it would just encourage yolo players since that target is more then worth the other potential targets.... Telling players to focus on this target and and then your "nemesis" appearing on the other side of the map what would you do? A) Hunt after him even though your team needs you on this side and also making you a potential target to be solo'd out.... with the small chance you might get a reward OR... B) Help the team win, but not beeing able to kill your nemesis because some1 else killed him befor you reached him, making you feel bad about NOT beeing able to get your reward while selffish people did? It's more like an advocate to be selffish and ignore teamplay in my opinion.... -
although the concept is new i don't think it would work since most players would always go for the main flagship first and avoiding the other players.... Also carriers and Destroyers would just trow everything at the flagship making that an unwanted spot to fill because of the giants bullseye painted on you. Secondly they're already planned to implement a competetive gamemode so we'll have to see if it's gonna be as tactical as WoT's strongholds

Like what CV mission? killing planes? torping enemies? doing .... damage or getting .... wins? Because they're the only ones i get and besides... Omaha ( 8x 152mm guns ) ( 4 or 2 triple battled torpedo tubes ) and 12 / 20 AA rating... with this ships alone it IS possible to get all the missions done.... or japanese cruisers, they all have torps! Beeing inventive in this case is better then to keep complaining about the missions that are relatively easy to complete ***when you're actually willing to do them*** Complain or comply, rest is upto you ;) Hope you'll notice a solution for your missions...

SO you want a crew of say like 2000 on battleships and a few 100's on cruisers ( because that was the actual amount ) and have them trained individually? ofcourse not! On a serious note though, all the officers were at the commander's room during engagements and thus eliminating the requirement to use comms to communicate... Furthermore they're all in the same room, meaning if you manage to shoot that you loze all your crew and your ship would be dead in the water like WoT ? Seperating them wouldn't make much sense either since it would make an illogical ship / officer dispersion that wouldn't make any sense.... The other drawback would be the skills.... What would the captain be learning? and what about the other ships that were too small to have multiple officers battleships would have? To reduce micro management and too many diffrent advantages / disadvantages new and veteran players would have it's more balanced the way it is now. Hope you can see why WG chose only a captain instead of an entire crew. Happy to hear your reply, Draco850
