    AP vs DD

    Today on PT server, I did 6k damage with Nagato AP to a Hatsuharu. It was BS!!! It seems battleships are way too effective against DDs considering they are countered by them. It's one of the reason I don't feel sorry when a BB gets pounded by a cruiser. One thing I noticed though, is that Citadels on BBs are not easy to get anymore. I tried with Fuso shooting the citadel of a Kongou, but no citadels, I tried shooting Fusous and Colorados with Nagato's AP, but nothing. They all were very close range. The only citadel I got was on a Fusou but it was a long shot. I also tried Nagato vs Baltimore and close to medium range, hit the center of ship and still no citadel hits!

    I just cleared E-3 on medium today. That final boss form (or the support bosses to be exact) were just too brutal. In the end I gave up. I loaded up my best ships including my Yamato and Roma, the two kai ni dragon sisters and Akizuki, and I used Musashi, Yamashiro and Kaga on the support expedition. In the end I managed killing it after losing 100 buckets and 10k resourses most of them just on the final kill. From now on I'll do the event on easy.. because I don't have enough resources and already used most of my best ships anyway. The only exception is E-6 I want to do medium because of that prototype flight deck for crane sisters kai ni. Btw.. I was happy for that Yamato radar until I compared it to Prinz Eugen' radar and I was quite disappointed that I busted my buckets for it. Well at least it's historically accurate XD

    So at higher tiers.. USN DDs get great guns, very good torpedoes that fire further than their detection range, same stealth as IJN DDs (Shimakaze vs Gearing), and very good AA with the ability. IJN DDs get nothing but long torps that can dodged by anyone and everyone.

    Because we know WG doesn't listen to anyone except BB whiners (and NA guys whiners). Let the stats speak. If they are really going with the ranked matches thing, then DDs at higher ranks will utterly fail to do anything. The only thing that is keeping the average damage of DDs is the players who keep sailing is straight lines. Put Mutsuki or Hatsuharu in a group of very skilled players and no torp will ever hit.

    No it didn't! North Carolina could completely avoid all Fubuki torps back then and thread between the salvo. I had a screenshot back from CBT where I scored 0 torp hits even though I fired 75 torp.. all aimed at battleships.

    And that means WG is biased against USN how? by changing and nerfing IJN CVs and giving something to USN DD so people would go back to them to at least try them out? 4.1: IJN CV nerf? check. Minekze nerf? check. Mogami an Myoukou nerf? check. Mutsuki buff? nope. The reload buff isn't there. Only Furutaka was buffed and we all know how terrible that ship is. More terrible that what you think USN CV (who are doing fine compared to other classes) and USN DDs. So where is thing WG hate for USN you speak of? The same stats shows that USN BBs are doing better than IJN DDs. See? stats work both ways!

    Makes sense! You're tackling the wrong issue. USN DDs suck not because of bias.. it's because of the BB whine fest that nerfed all destroyers. Who do you think will be hurt the most with the current rudder shift buff? IJN CVs is a whole different issue that has nothing to do with USN vs IJN. Maybe some people say USN aren't Op because their national flavor was the fighter power and they got saved b that. Hpwever look at tier 9 and 10 and you will find them equally overpowered. Again you're tackling the wrong thing here. This issue is CV balance, not IJN vs USN. What I dislike the most on NA forum isn't the fact they are so fanboyish, unreasonable or believers of "bias conspiracies," it's because they believe that No other line in the game has issues and if you talk about an underperforming ship that is not American they go rage and starts all the comparison and crying why US are "so bad" in this game and that nothing non-American should get a buff.

    All this range thing has been whined and bitched about on NA server until USN BBs came and all these fears disappeared. You know why IJN BBs aren't doing that to USN BBs? First of all, the accuracy is terrible at long range. Seconds if all, most people are playing USN BBs anyway! and if there was an IJN BB he'll be targeted first by carriers because they are longer, slower to turn and have weaker AA. You remind me of those NA guys that everyday scream that their poor precious nation is biased against and that WG is deliberate making USN stuff worse. Maybe yiu should visit, I'd bet you'd make a lot of friends!

    If this rudder shift change stays.. I hope it help bringing the much needed torpedo detection buff. Mutsuki's gun range is just shy of 7km btw!

    Mutsuki atm has 40 seconds traverse for elite gun, 45s for stock. It will be changed to 30s for stock and 18s for elite. However, even though it is a welcomed buff, it does not offset her being one of the worst performing ships and on top of that, an extra 0.3km concealment nerf!

    because tiers 6-7-8 are actually balanced to each other maybe??!! Yeah, you're right. That's why USN BBs have so much lower winrate and damage than IJN BBs.. no wonder no one is playing a USN BB because they suck so much that they had to nerf Wyoming

    That is a low blow to all IJN DDs, not just Mutsuki. But Mutsuki in particular has been laughed once again by the devs. We've seen the asian stats and Mutsuki had stats as terrible as Furutaka along with Myougi. Instead they give Mutsuki a small buff for turrets and big nerf for the stock grind. Not only that they lie about a buff. How low can they be?

    Straight is too big for low tiers. Imagine you are in a Kawachi or Mikasa and you have to cross so much distance just to shoot at someone. In one match I spend half of the match without firing a single shell because enemy were running away!

    lol USN DDs more terrible than IJN DDs.. that was true under tier 5.. and the reverse on tier 9 and 10. IJN get worse DDs at those tiers. USN BBs have terrible range and speed makes them worse in how exactly? I don't see them having bad stats, in fact everyone seems to be playing USN BBs. How's USN have worse BBs at tiers 3,4,6.9 and 10?

    No it doesn't. Mutsuki torp reload buff was a lie. It wasn't buffed. Instead now we have an even more frustrating stock ship to grind. The only buff Mutsuki got was to it's turrets. It seems all IJN DDs lost 1-2% of starting fire chance!

    I find it a dickish move that WG lied to us about the torpedo reload buff for Mutsuki. Instead Mutsuki got a big nerf especially for stock. true her turrets turn faster now, but that's at the expense of lowering the fire percentage and as many are saying, a buff to all rudder on all BBs. GJ you morons at WG balancing team!

    I haven't played carriers in this test server so I can't tell about the servicing time. But yeah, USN planes better lube up now especially the strike USN carriers because now they will get a serious payback from the IJN fighters.

    What happened to Mutsuki's torpedo RoF buff? before the patch: 0.8 after the patch 0.8. without it Mutsuki was actually nerfed with 6.2km concealment. Why the hate to IJN DDs WG?

    Wakatake, Minekaze, Stock Mutsuki and Kagerou now have 30 seconds for 180 degrees while elite gun on Mutsuki has 18s

    Mytsuki has 0.8 RPM for the torps.. and the elite guns now turn at 18 seconds!
