    - Flooding damage percentage depends on the tier of the ship, from 0.667% per second up to 0.433% per second. - Tournaments are coming probably around winter. - No plans to buff Des Moines. It is a difficult ship but it is doing fine statistically. However, with the continuous developing of game mechanic, it might get some new bonuses. - There are plans to integrate WoWS to Wargaming Game Center (whatever that is). - Arpeggio content is licensed and WG will continue to cooperate as long as it is popular and renew their contract. If it's not popular then they will remove it (I think his answer also implies that if Arpeggio chose to not renew the contract then WG might be forced to end it). - The best experience ever earned so far in the server (RU) is 5698 xp by Hatsuharu. A victory with 7 kills and over 220k damage. - Mikhail Kutuzov is alright. It has normal winrate and other balance indicators (kills, damage, survival) compared to its peers. - 0.5.2 increased the damage done by the alt ability of fighters by 6 times. - At 20 km, Murmansk can only fire the bow and stern guns. This is not a bug. The elevation on these turrets are better than the one on the case mate turrets. (Murmansk can fire up to 20 km?) - Prioritizing a target for secondaries does not increase the secondaries accuracy or DPS. - There's a small variation of planes DPS value to prevent shootdowns "exactly on the clock" (I guess he means that fighters' DPS has some RNG in it). - Each AA aura can only attack one plane only. (so if you have 60 DPS for long range AA for example, this 60 will work on only 1 plane HP, it won't be divided on 2 planes for 30 each). - You can prioritize your carrier's AA on enemy squadrons, you just have to select the carrier first. - In response to a guy who's too annoyed to look at the arpeggio missions because they have anime girls in them, the arpeggio combat missions in one of the next updates, these missions will only be available when you select the Yokosuka port (took me a while to figure that out). - It seems that the location of the EU and NA WoWS servers are not subject to disclosure. - At the moment, there are no plans to directly improve the performance of Atlanta. The cruiser has a quite specific role and will remain as such. With the planned AA rebalance of 0.5.3, Atlanta will shoot down planes with greater efficiency.     The only reason Yorck is tier 7 is because WG did not fnd any suitable cruiser for tier 7. What do you suggest to fill the t7 slot then?

  7. Tip: try using the fighters alt ability, you can get about 10 kills a game if you use it correctly. Not what you're asking for but at least it will help a little.

    Agano or Oyodo might not be as reliable as you might wish. If we consider Agano to be tier 5, she'll have less firepower than both Omaha and Kongisberg (she only had 6 152mm guns with 6 RPM and slower muzzle velocity than Omaha). Oyodo has 6 155mm gun, the same on Mogami, but they are all forward and she has no torps.

    Well, ideally, all ships should have equal chance to influence the match but WG said no a long time ago. Pretty much what we all knew from CBT.. WG messed up carrier gameplay into boring and over simplified one-role-only class. This is why we have threads like these.

    Myoukou sucked so bad in tier 8, it was buffed when it was changed to tier 7.

    Consider this: Zuihou requires much more skill compared to a Bogue if you really want to be successful in a Zuihou when you're matched against a Bogue. Zuihou should have higher chance to influence the battle because it's a more difficult ship to play. Unless the devs make Bogue much more challenging to play, then I'd say its stats are just fine. These 2 ships remind me of St. Louis vs Tenryuu, The Former is the easier ship to play yet it still has the better stats of the two.

    I play IJN CVs and this ability is the only thing that gives me a hope of dealing with USN CV planes.
  19. You forget that most high tier BBs, Yamato at their peak, have very powerful torpedo protection. Yamato can negate 65% of torpedo damage. Also look at ships like Fletcher, it has 10 torps, deal 19k damage each and reloads much faster than Kagerou's 9 torps with 20k damage and slow reload. The problem seems to more like the recent high tier DD population (mainly Shimakaze) that happened after the patch. The problem doesn't seem to be the ship itself. I mean imagine 5-6 Yamato's in one team, that would be brutal too right?

    I bought Zuihou yesterday and I sit in a 1 win in 7 battles. I could manage Hoshou vs Langley fights by utilizing the fighter ability but Zuihou can't do to a AA Bogue what Houshou can do to a Langley. The problem isn't that you can't deal with the planes, it's that you'll ran out of fighters way quicker than a Bogue can. The recent missions are making my Zuihou grind very painful, that's why I put Zuihou on the shelf until the things calm down a bit. I'd say Zuihou's fighters need a buff to their loadout. The same as Houshou's planes which means you can have them in the air for longer.

    In the meantime, I will continue to post info to the best I can. - The new Admiral Hipper hull that was promised a while ago is planned for 0.5.3 - I think he's saying Tone is not being sold as a premium is because it seems difficult.
