    Isn't it kind of wrong that the ship that is anti-BB only manages 2.5k more damage that the anti-DD ship? That's not the problem though. Look at Kiev's damage and tell me how a ship with crappy torps and only good guns manages higher average damage than the 2 ships with better torps that are more likely to do more damage to BBs.

    Smith isn't new either. She was a tier 2 like Tachibana just before closed beta. They were replaced by Umikaze and Sampson that were tier 3 and Waketake and Wickes were introduced.

    They are not 24k torps. that site for some reason show bigger torpedo damage for all torps in the game. There's a ratio you can use to figure out the correct number from that but I forgot what it is.

    I think I know what you mean. I saw a video of a rip-off not only using the same art as kancolle, but they added other ships too like Iowa. Also, their Tenryuu art, she's wearing the same uniform as Hatsuharu and Nenohi which got me hyped for just a second.

    http://forum.worldofwarships.ru/index.php?showtopic=33727&view=findpost&p=1769185 - WG is pleased with the fact you can hide your own statistics. - The points on ship that checks for detection: tip of the bow and stern and tip of the mast. - 0.5.3 will see only air defense and carrier balance due to it's significance (so no ship balancing?). According to plans, team battles, new captain skills and rebalancing of old skills, something with equipment, maps, interface, economy, MM.. etc (it seems I summed up 0.5.3 bulletin in one sentence XD)
  11. We have all of those in the game. - You can avoid torps but you have to act before you see them. If you see a destroyer near you, assume it launched torps. If you see enemy bombers coming, turn toward them and you'll avoid their torps completely. - You may not always avoid all torps, but you can always minimize the damage to 1-2 torps if you react appropriately. If the torps are coming, cut speed quickly and turn hard against them and you might not catch all of them. You will receive damage but nothing your heal ability won't fix. - There is a splash if a destroyer launched torps (assuming he's detected) but you have to look closely at him to see it. Anyway, don't depend on that. Your intuition is your main defense so is your rudder. If a destroyer is close, don't shoot first and turn later. Turn away first and shoot later. - Your Myogi is a battleships with fewest guns in the game. tier 3 and 4 ships are considered "meh" at best but battleships become much more competitive after tier 5 with more guns and more powerful too. Moreover, you're not meant to shoot at destroyers accurately, otherwise they will die so fast. This is the job of a cruiser. Try to stay near allies and never go anywhere alone. Give the game more time and games and try more ships. Watch videos about what to do and don't in the game and eventually you will learn a lot of tricks. I myself have made a similar topic to yours about a year ago complaining about carrier torps, and I'm glad that topic is buried deep in the forum's forgotten abyss so people won't know about it.
  12. For me, I'm terrible at carriers because I can't tell priority targets and what needs to be done to win a game. Even when I had matches with 2-3 kills and none for the enemy carrier I still ended up losing the match (those are the most frustrating) which means I targeted the wrong ships.

    http://forum.worldofwarships.ru/index.php?showtopic=33727&view=findpost&p=1764987 According to server statistics. the Yubari: 1- Earns as much as Nikolai and Iwaki Alpha, 2- Shoots down planes better than any tier 4-5 ships (by a considerable margin) and even on tier 6 second to Cleveland, 3- Survival rate is better than her peers except Iwaki Alpha, 4- She has more battles played than Iwaki considering the small amount of ships sold, 5- Average winrate and damage is second to Iwaki Alpha, 6- She has the least amount of registered hits among tier 4 cruisers, which approaches the numbers on destroyers (wonky translation, but I think he means that Yubari is very hard to hit like a destroyer), 7- The rate of module damage (or citadel damage. wonky translation) is in the middle of tier 4 cruisers. Considering the low numbers of her owners, she has good stats. However, she is still considered a specific-role ship.
  14. Voting won't be a problem if WG advertised it in more than one media, like the forums, the news page, in-game, e-mails, via community contributes and youtubers. As I am writing this however, the costs of doing all that came to mind.

  16. One thing you have to keep in mind, is that each player has his own playstyle and the ship that matches that style. It's possible that BBs are just your thing more than cruisers. Granted, some ships are great and you can have great fun in them like Kongou, but not any player can do the same with the ship. To give you an example, I play all 4 classes currently and I suck the most in carriers. My winrate in Zuihou is under 30% even though she has above 50% average winrate on this server.

    Nope. 1-3 seconds would be just fine so replays (same as in WoT) so replays actually look good when you watch them.

    Who said they well add each and every single US ships? Personally, I just hope they add a couple like they did with German and Italian ships. In fact, I rather see more Italian ships.

    Secondaries again

    Devs implied that secondaries might get accuracy buff. Personally I'm against that since AI secondaries are a cheap way to deal damage and this game doesn't need to be more automated any more than it is. If I had a choice of controlling those secondaries then I wouldn't mind an accuracy buff and my only gripe against secondaries buff is that they are AI controlled.

    I miscalculated so your numbers are right. But even then dude, I was stating my personal preference. I do't see where all this strong disagreement of yours come from. I'm used to this 21 seconds traverse and I can make it work. If your style prefers the faster-turning 2-gun setup, that's totally fine. As for the pure raw DPM, both gun setups have the roughly same DPM. You're halving the number of guns for only slightly more than doubting the RoF. The reason why I prefer the 4 guns over the 2 guns in DD fights is because in Mutsuki (and Kamikaze, but less degree in Minekaze) you can aim 3 turrets at very sharp angle. I can fire all 3 guns then return to perpendicular while waiting for the guns to reload and then repeat. It's also useful if you're charging enemies. 2-gun Mutsuki with this tactic can only fire one gun instead of 3 and even the RoF won't make up for that. I have to angle even more if I want to use the rear gun and I cannot return to perpendicular to minimize my silhouette because the guns reload very fast. That's my preference and how I like to use the setup. Yours could differ and you have more success with the two guns. It's a matter of taste, not fact.
