    Zara is superior to Furutaka and Kako kai ni but inferior to Pudding except AA. I believe they should have given Zara Pudding's HP
  2. Don't forget, AI doesn't use mods and captain skills that also further buff the planes, and you have to use all the AA mods and skills to get this performance.

    Yeah funny how that guy left out things like the 10k HP difference, the faster RoF, faster turret traverse and Hindy's DM level AA.

    I guess Zara looks too young because of the artist's art style, she quite mature, if you know where to look I like her. She's like a big sister Libeccio and I always wanted one more Italian ship. Hatsuyuki Hatsuzuki looks nice but still not taking the place of Akizuki.

    Great. They nerfed Mogami, they are planning to nerf Myoko and now they are thinking to nerf Zao.

    Manual drop is still smaller than auto drop! The change is that when you manual attack, and your DB gets panicked, the size of the circle becomes as big as the size of he circle when you auto attack without being panicked.

    AA changes in patch 0.5.3

    I took the liberty of playing Midway on the test server and here's what I found: First of all, her new bomb damage is 10800 which is 44% increase, not 30%. The manual bomb drop is still smaller than the auto drop but I don't know how they compare to the live patch currently. I used the 1/1/3 deck with all commander skill upgrades, so I had 21 DB in the sky! So far I played two games. First I like to say that I'm a bad terrible CV player. Look at my stats in Zuihou.. 27% winrate! The two games were all tier 10, the first was me vs Haku and the seconds was 2 carriers each time, each had a Haku and a Midway. The other carrier players seemed just as bigger as I am since I encountered no resistance from them except the first Haku at the end. In both games I did around 100k in damage, mostly came from DB bombs. I mostly targeted BBs including Montanas and their AA wasn't scary at all. I found the planes to be survivable. I avoided DMs and Hindys although there weren't many of them so it was easy. Even when I attack with 1 TB against a lone BB I can score hits although I do lose half the squadron on its way back. However, I tried to attack with the DBs and the TBs simultaneously. When I also played Zao and Yamato, I didn't my AA to be anywhere near OP, even when I activate my Defensive fire on my 82 AA rating Zao. My opinion that AA only becomes scary is when you invest all or most of your upgrades and captain skills in improving your AA and I don't think many people in random battles will do that. Here's some screenies: edit: oh yeah, on the second match, an Izumo beached himself and lost 55k HP from my bombs and torps alone. It doesn't show anything except how badly he played but still, I felt sorry for him.

    Ok, I think I get it now. Most useful information I find on the tracker comes from Sub_Octavian, so I'll wait on those and try to look for useful info coming from other devs. o7

    I think it is the Japanese and German ships, instead of American ones, if I remember correctly. Also, there's a lot of concern about Mogami, it is mostly about the range though.

    Midway with 3 DBs can do 21k damage a drop to Yamato without the fires. It seems they didn't really nerf Midway, just made it easy mode.

    Guys I played Zao on PT server just now with superintendent and it gave me an extra charge. The tool tip doesn't include damage control party, that's it.

    From the RU 0.5.3 bulletin thread: http://forum.worldofwarships.ru/index.php?showtopic=42963&view=findpost&p=1838440 - No plans to return Mogami to tier 7 - There are plans to add 600 m to the range on Mogami (yay!) and to take 500 m from the range of Myoko (nay!) but it is not confirmed and will not happen right after 0.5.3. No stats for Mogami will change before 0.5.3. - There's also this pic if someone can translate please - Before the release of 0.5.3, they will release a FAQ for all the questions being asked regarding the changes in this patch

    They probably want Survival Expert to be one of these things that are not mean to save you from massive damage, but from flooding and fire damage that slowly burn you away, For example, if you had low HP and got set on fire, an extra 2k could save you from dying until you fire an extra salvo or two. I actually used it on my Mogami in the test server, survived match with 1-2k HP left, so.. As for the turret destruction, this is one of the usual "stats say everything" attitudes of the developers. As long as stats say it is not an issue, they don't need to even think about it.

    I think it is an artifact from translating the notes from another language, but it can still be a nerf to repair party all things considered, since these are WG's wonder-patchnotes after all.

    Guys, they are talking about superintended affecting the "take out fires" and "repair engines" repair, not the HP regeneration. In the last round of test server, if you had like a tier 1 ship that only has the repair, then SI tooltip tells you it will add a charge for it, even though it is already infinite for all ships. I wouldn't mind SI not affecting the HP regen since BBs already get more charges than the other classes and having 5 HP regen seems way too good in my opinion. It is not touched however, so no point in discussing it. It also means no more hope for Tone having a squadron flying around her. I'm glad they are not releasing her then.
