That's the problem. If there were stats that show how many cruiser got spotted by destroyers, it will be clouded by the number of people getting themselves detected by firing the guns. This is only a problem at high tiers, tier 10, 9 and sometimes on tier 8. Lower tiers' cruisers in my opinion are very capable of either dealing or at least deterring enemy destroyers. That's why I'm worried the radar on tier 8 cruisers might be a bit too OP when they're on tier 6 and 7 matches.

I go ahead and say that most cruisers get spotted not because of destroyers but because they fired their guns at the first target they saw!

What I'd like for IJN cruisers to get is spotting with spotter planes. They relied on spotter planes from cruisers like Tone-class to spot the enemy. If they can just give the a semi-controllable scouts that you send to an area and they spot there, and the scout plane will be susceptible to being sot down so the radar would still be a superior equipment.

6.2 km is Mutsuki's and Minekaze's detection. You can't have a Russian DD with a Japanese DD stealth, especially since Mutsuki (the tier 6) has 75 seconds torpedo reload.

There are some issues I seem to have with this new consumable: - The fact the premium consumable has a CD of 4 minutes while the regular one has 6 minutes. The new consumable that Hatsuharu and Kagero got has 6 minutes for regular and 5 minutes for premium. They either make the regular CD for Radar 5 minutes of make it 5 minutes for the premium one. I don't know of any other premium consumable that gives such CD reduction as this one. - The fact it replaces fighter planes. It's way more useful than fighter planes, it's not even a choice. Russian cruisers are said to not even have fighter planes but spotter planes instead. They already have longer range so they don't need spotter planes. It's better if they replace repair part or Sonar/Defensive fire instead (at least for Russian cruisers). - The fact tier 8 cruisers gets it. Don't get me wrong, tier 8 cruisers need something, but I don't think that's it, not with these stats at least. Tier 8 can be in matches with tier 10, true, but they can also see tier 6 and 7. I don't think there's a single overperfoming tier 6 and 7 destroyer, at least not due to their stealth, and not any one of them has more range than 10 km. The main problem is DDs at high tiers. I think it should be limited to tier 9 and 10 cruisers only. Tier 8 cruisers are better with a nerfed version of repair party (the one that can't repair 33% of citadel damage) maybe, or radar with a lot more weaker stats (like 6-8km range only).

I think the mentioned that they won't be selling Grem at RU server. However, this is WG and they've done it in the past with WoT. They will be very expensive and sold for a very limited time.

What Mogami needs is turret traverse for the 155mm guns. What I don't get is why SN cruisers get to have radar. It should be USN and later RN thing.

Patch 0.5.3 introduced a nerf for the captain skills that affected light cruisers. I decided to compare the stats from warships.today before and after the patch to see what changes followed this patch. Now, before I post anything, these are only stats for one day. The numbers of battles are so small to draw any conclusions about the balance and the state of the game. I want to see how the changes immediately affected some ships. However, when people start adjusting their playstyle a bit and get used to them, which might take about a week or two, then the stats should be slightly more accurate. For each tier, I'll post 2 pics: the first is two weeks prior to 0.5.3 and the second is one day after 0.5.3. I'll only include the cruisers of tiers 8, 6, 5 and 4 which I think receive the biggest and most important changes (sorry, tiers 2 and 3) Tier 8: As you can see, the biggest changes are in tier 8 between Mikhail and Mogami. Will MK continue to lead the cruisers of tier 8? Did the AFT, BFT and EM nerf really make CLs underpowered? only time will tell. I'm sorry, that last one is the worst idea for a consumable I've ever seen. Imagine a similar consumable for cruisers that completely negates citadel damage.

Another fact about Moskva: just like the other cruisers at that tier, she gets repair party. Unlike BB's repair party, she can repair 33% of the citadel damage, add to that 65k hp (69k with the new commander skill) and you get tier 8 BB level of heal. Another thing to keep in mind, one of the latest RU Q&A, they said they're looking into rebalancing Zao (obviously meaning a nerf)

There are no difference in game mechanics, ships, maps, UI, balance or any of sort. The major differences are in the premium shop, events, challenges and missions and similar things.

Imagine if the IJN line wasn't implemented and only the USN and German line, then they announced that the tier 5 IJN cruiser would be the Furutaka. I bet some will think it would be OP. I'm still skeptical though, but I'll refrain from judgement until we see the stats.

I agree. 2 weeks should give a better idea, but I don't see any other ship doing better than MK except maybe Atago.. both are premiums.

I played Hosho and Zuiho and I don't feel OP at all. In fact, I have worst stats in them that all of my battleships, cruisers and destroyers.

Yeah, the login black screen bug. It's not like we didn't have that bug on the PT server and reported it. But you know, our feedback is just a grain of salt and devs have stats that can tell them everything they need to know., including bugs!
