Let me ask you this: why it shouldn't be? should we remove an option from the ship (which is the only ship that has it at this tier rage) just because no other ship has it? Why do you want to force such limitation and rules on the game? People want diversity in their game. It might not be guns, but other ships has hulls that offer different play styles. Again, let me remind you of Fubuki and Kagero C hulls. How many players actually use those? Why does some ships have multiple choice of consumables to choose while others are stuck with only one choice? and the 155mm was equal to the 203mm at one point in the game. It was when Mogami was first moved to tier 8 and before the AFT bug.

True, my calculations are slightly off. 37 seconds was approximate anyway. Anyway, that's 1 seconds slower for 180 degress. It doesn't change much when you want to track a target, which is the bad part about slow turrets. Not even Aoba can turn her turrets in 180 degrees fast enough and even struggles trying to keep its guns on target with harsh turns. The whole idea is to make the 155mm playable. Yes they are still slow but not 51.4 seconds slow.

So lately you released several US ships in the game, and before that you released multiple Soviet cruisers. How do you determine what premium you want to release next and why is it always for one nation only while leaving the other nations behind? -
Speaking of upgrades.. Fubuki and Kagero C hulls are also meant to be upgrades, yet they are inferior to the B hulls.

Your proposal beats the point of 203mm guns. The 203mm are supposed to turn faster, hit harder but have low DPM, while the 155mm are supposed to turn slower but have a lot of DPM. If we just make the traverse for both guns the same then what's the point? 10 seconds is fine for Mogami because that is outclasses by all the other light cruisers anyway.

We'll just get back to where we started. Why play the 203mm if you have have the 155mm with the same traverse, faster reload and more of them? I think that the 155mm with 10.5 seconds reload and around 36 seconds traverse is the best thing you can have for them while still making the 203mm viable. This how the Mogami was right after the switch in CBT and before the AFT bug. This is the point of my thread. I want to show that 155mm can still be a viable choice to Mogami, but that doesn't mean she's suddenly equal to Atago or Soviet cruisers.

I would love manual secondaries. I even made suggestion thread about them, I just don't like the idea of AI guns. Yes, AA is the same and I dislike that too, but at least you're not killing anyone with AA, just his planes. I love brawling with Nagato too, but I take my targets. I go for the BBs and shoot AP at their turrets to take them out instead of relying on my secondaries to do the damage. It's nice for them to finish a 1-2k hp ship for me, but I don't like the idea of doing massive damage for me.

Which is why I run to the side of the map that has the least BBs in it. If only people accept BBs getting massive damage from torpedoes and carriers too, and not ask for nerfs to them all the time......

My biggest issue with the ship is how fragile she is to AP, not the guns. The guns are doing alright, but not even angling is saving you from citadel hits (not that Myoko was any better in this regard). I really would like to know which part of my ship has 140mm of armor. I don't think it covers the citadel under my turrets because that's where most of my angled citadel pens come from.

Instead of relying on lazy AI guns, now you can have better accuracy on your main guns.. you know, the ones you actually have to aim and shoot instead of relying on AI to do the damage for you.

I don't understand this frustration. Do people actually use the secondaries module on Nagato and Amagi? Ok I understand on Amagi but on Nagato? Nagato is one of the worst ships I've played regarding gun accuracy and that's with the 7% module. Not to mention that secondaries are one of those lazy weapons that should never be AI in the first place. Killing people with secondaries feels so dirty, you seriously want 20% accuracy on the secondaries plus the accuracy on the main gun? I rather not have that and I hope they keep it like that.

For the AA variant, why didn't they consider the 10cm guns?

There is no such thing as citadel probability and overpen probability. If you penetrate the citadel of a ship, you get a citadel. If penetrate a lightly armored section of a ship and the shells came from the other side, it's over pen. the only random in this is where the shell goes. No, there was so such change to dispersion. In fact, BBs could never hit anything reliably at max range ever since I start playing the game in Closed Beta. Could it be you are remembering it wrong? -

I'm personally thinking they can remove the new shells and give her the old 203mm shells that all the other IJN cruisers uses. This will bring her damage and fire chance lower, but not the muzzle velocity because that depends on the gun. The flight times will still get worse though because of lighter shells but they will still be faster that the other IJN heavy cruisers. After that, WG can monitor her stats and fix the ship accordingly. If her stats dropped too much they can do HP/RoF buffs as needed. This I feel will make the ship a little more believable. There's no way a ship that obviously heavier than Ibuki barely has any HP over her. This should also make Zao more balanced, just like that ranting guy asks (except he doesn't want a compromise).

Well guess what, people who has to face Zao also has a say in this, especially when statistics completely say no buff is needed. I guess the only thing you want to hear is people agreeing with you so you can start calling for a buff.

I don't have a Zao, but everyone who checks the stats (and probably Zao owners themselves) know that Zao does not need any kind of buff.
