Haven't noticed any difference in lag. I have however, since the latest patch which was 2days or so ago? The game keeps crashing. Last time I logged in to play, aswell as just now, I log in, pick a ship,fire up a battle. 1-2 seconds after countdown is done and u can finally play, Bing! error message, up pops an error message and game closes down.
I log back in, thankfully the game loads me into the battle straight away. But before I can even hit "w" to go forward, BING, error message, game crash. And log back in, with luck I get back to the battle, just to experience it crashing on me again. Log back in, and I this time end up in the Port. Where it's kindly telling me that this particular ship is still in combat. Although right now, I couldnt pick another ship, because now the game even crashed while in PORT.
So 1; I'm sorry for my 'allies' that I can't help. And I sure hope they dont think I just went afk. (Easy to think lots of things when one of your teammates arent moving an inch entire battle) and 2: wtf is going on since the latest update. I want to play dammit, this is one way of taking my money (premium account) without letting me actually reap the benefits of said premium time.
And on top of that, the bonus XP for first win of the day...well u can imagine yourself if you win with this ship I just mentioned. I would barely get any xp, if any at all. So that's that. All I can hope right now is that we lose this battle that I couldn't log in to, so that once the game allows me to actually play a battle, I can still reap those bonus XP for first win.
Did not have the luck the other day tho, coz my team won that battle, which kinda sux considering I couldn't move an inch before game crashed.
This had nothing to do with lags, so I'm probably off-topic with this post. But still. I would rather have ten time worse ping right now, than not being able to at least finish the battle I joined. I for one dont like letting my teammates down. And I dont want ppl to think I just log into a battle just to go afk.
Anyone else experiencing crashes after the latest patch?
