Problém je, že SS test není reálná bitva (teda doufám, že nebudou tři SS do teamu odteď norma randomu) Za ponorky jsem nehrál, protože 86 čekajících ponorek ve frontě proti 10DD a třem bitevkám - bleh. Takže jenom za DD: opět nestandard, většinou je půl teamu ponorky a DD - takže se to zvrhá v DD duely, protože strana, která přijde o torpédoborce je v podstatě vpytli. Pokud by na randomu pak byla max 1 ponorka na team, bude to vypadat jinak. S DD potopit ponoru není problém, vpodstatě není potřeba ani být moc přesný. Aspoň teda, s Faragutem mě to bavilo, ALE Pomorky, zvlášť v tomhle počtu, znamenají totální změnu hry pro DD - DD se musí držet víc vzadu, jsou ještě víc naspotovaný než doteď, vypnout DD je prostě jednoznačná teamová priorita. To nechci, DD jsou můj nejoblíbenější class, neříkám, že mi jdou, ale neskutečně mě baví, většinou vím, co jsem udělal špatně - na současném randomu. Mazec ve formě furballu 8DD, 6 SS do kterého zdálky pálí dvě bitevky a dva křizníky za každou stranu - takový random nechci, za žádnou třídu, možná to může být zábava za ponorky, ale dost pochybuju. Jako sepárátní mód, nebo bitva proti botům ( třeba tři ponorkoví hráči proti botímu konvoji, nebo "Dostaňte se do cizího přístavu a torpédujte zakotvenou bitevku" - třeba jo.

Dobře, takže můj Kirov je teď prémiák, ale sovětský lehký křižník V. tieru můžu zkoumat znova. To jako koupit Světlanu? A já si ji tak rád zbavil. Anebo mi budou stačit ty dva "stejný" prémiáky Kirov a Mikoyan a tím s touhle větví skončím, asi. -
Ok, tak piš na fórum Army 3 a strč si tu reklamu do toho uhlí co ti tam zůstane ležet na věčné časy.

Hele, ono se tu smí říct, že Genoa je plečka? Byť to není pozitivní? Se v těch pravidlech fóra nějak ztrácím. Přitom jsem si připravil pozitivní hodnocení (podotýkám, že Genovu naštěstí nemám) : Jsem rád, že je Genova ve hře a doufám že si ji pořídí spoustu hráčů, vždy když ji vidím v červeném týmu zvedá mi to náladu, zlepšuje můj pocit ze hry, těším se na splnění další mise na citadelování. Jenom prosím, Genova potřebuje nutně buff, potřebuje více HP, obvykle totiž vydrží jen tak tři citadely a pak si musím hledat jiný objekt zájmu, což je škoda, PS: Tak ono to, že zhruba polovina lidí má podprůměrnou inteligenci je jaksi statistický fakt, platí to pro každou civilizaci, i u Vulkánců, to by nás děsit nemělo. Dokonce, pokud má civilizace velké % vysoce nadprůměrně inteligentních jedinců, je pravděpodobné, že podprůměrnou inteligenci bude mít víc jak polovina populace. Ale bonmot je to pěkný.

Given that mostly everybody gets them for free from crates, it's practically unavoidable, for a starting player like me, it means that in adition to my tier V fleet which I earned, I get for example tier VII really mediocre heavy cruiser, with not good enough captain, guns, ammo, armor, range to get early experience how the gameplay looks at higher tiers? Sounds ... encouraging? So the whole question is, if i gather enough balls to sell them immediately to avoid frustration. Who I am kidding, of course i am gonna play them ... real bad. -

Ok, I am one of the minority (non UK) who actually (re)started the Wows campaign thinking I will drive King George V and show them ( ok, I actually thought "Duke of York" but at the time I had not studied the tech trees ). The other ones were Ajax, Exeter, Graff Spee (gues why: la Platta Tribal destroyers and then Le Triomphant because reasons. After being introduced to tech trees I had to reevaluate those goals a bit. I became a fan of kriegsmarine (in game, not by superstition) : T-22 destroyer and battleships, those secondaries :) -
30 000 battles and that oriented in game sormy? Thank you, I feel much less like a noob stumbling around the game events trying to find some order.

I got an idea. Maybe this is not right forum for it, but Ectar, given how much troubles you got supporting 7 languages, what about ... supporting just one, but in a solid way ? Keep just an english mutation of web pages, do all announcement in english and I think it is perfectly safe to rely on national communities to get their translations in no time - published on the forum. And often better translations than WG EU can manage. My guess is, this would be win-win situation. -

It's not so much language barrier. Its just a matter of developing common plan with group of strangers most of whom my actually be opposed to developing a plan ... all that in 15minutes (or rather , first two minutes, than it's too late). Not much different from WoT random. Only rarely you get a group of likeminded people who are willing to stick to a plan ... and only because thier own plan is similar to yours. -

My limited experience is that if circumstances allow me 1:1 engagement with BB in my DD I happily take it, no matter what are the initial conditions. Especially for IJN DD who can stay out of range of secondaries. Of course it's even more preferential if BB is initialy engaged in some long range shootout. More often than not my blind raid is finished not by salvo from targeted battleship, but from some of it's allies which I overlooked or who managed to get interested in the meantime. From the other end, if my lone battleship is singled out by enemy destroyer, I am in trouble, to hit manevering DD with main shotguns is not that easy (unless he decides for "shallow" close to parallel approach) , secondaries, even if focused are usually not enough to stop DD before torp drop and to avoid torps AND at the same time keep DD targeted by main guns is beyond my skill. So best DD defence for me is to keep in group. 2-3 BB's or grouped with CL melts DD at spotting range pretty fast. Ofc my experience is based just on tier III battles - I don't see any point to get anything better, when I cannot drive tier III properly. -
Torpédoborce jsou takový kříženec lehkého a středního tanku (WZ-132?) Povedená salva torpéd dovede naložit takovou DMG že křižníky blednou závistí ale na druhou stranu jsou pekelně nespolehlivý, občas stačí, když se na ně bitevka kysele podívá. Na nízkých tierech, kde spottingu tolik nevládnou letadla jsou torpédoborce ohromná zábava - nikdo od vás nečeká že podržíte bitvu, takže když se zadaří, všichni jenom civí... a když ne, no , co se dalo čekat od takovýho prdítka, že jo?

Thats mind boggling in respect to fire distance, shell speed, gravity and trajectory curve. Is trajectory curve the real world physic, or completely artificial? Is shell speed measured in ship scale units or world units? Obviously if the usual 10km distance of fire would be shortened 2,5times - 4 km, thats almost direct fire for battleship guns, ... ugh. But if shells speed use map scale, then travel time to 10 km would be something like 12-15 seconds, not true either. That means, shell speed keeps ship scale (2,5 faster than should be) but to keep trajectory curving for map scale they had to increase gravity factor. Sorry for the rant I just had to get the thought out of my head in semicoherent way.

Absolutely fantastic guide. Thank you. And I don't care if there are maybe some gaps for nittypickers. It is waaaay better than official game manual. But one nagging thought: when laying smoke at full speed, there could be gaps between smoke rings? You sure about it? 450M diameter every five seconds? 90m/s to even get on the edge of the ring inside those five seconds for next "puff" - thats frigging 180knots or such. And I am fool who does not know what "diameter" is, but still: 225m to the edge of the ring since the puff, even taken 100m DD lenght into account, would be 175m to cover in 5seconds: 35m/s still 70knots (or I am double fool, since word "idiot" would be censored anyway)

Or, you can consider the price to be for replacement of a module you simply have to pay the shipyard . You cannot just easily switch ...engines eg. all by yourself, just buy the new one on ebay -

I think Takarde got it right. Peak speed is for nothing, except maybe when chasing narcobaron speedboats, but even there drones and helis would do better job. Ships no longer need to chase other ships (or escape other ships) - that ended with airpower being recognized force. But ships still need to "get there" so high sustainable speed is still in demand.

And I want promise that my hard earned capitains, ships, modules, pisaters, shells, seasickness and scurvy are permanent and will be carried over to release.

Of course we get something extra. And that extra is knowledge. By the time the game goes to release we will be experienced captains, with knowledge what we like to command, and how each type of ship behaves. Look at Iwaki Alpha : they are not that spectacular, but I always freak out seing one on enemy team. Most of the time thier captains know their job well.
