I shoot with Hindenburg a BB, when I've got a message: "don't shoot friendly ships" or so. As I zoomed back I saw a Myogi right on my starboard side... But didn't turn me pink. And in my 2000 battles I sank accidentally about 3-4 ships never get pink color. Must be something in the system...

Can't find better place to ask, what the hell is that at the end of the machine gun? Normally the end of the barrel should be a suppressor, muzzle break or muzzle flash hider. That thing on the picture (from an USA DD) none of them, so what is it?
