    Es liegt an einem Spieler und an dem genutzen Schiff ;) Es gibt gute und schlechte Spieler und es gibt gute und schlechte Schiffe. Aber es ist auch ein Teamspiel, daher gibt es auch gute und schlechte Entscheidungen der Mitspieler. Es ist nicht immer nur eine Sache, es ist eine Kombination aus vielen Faktoren

    Hmm, actually I don't think it's laziness. I'm pretty sure they are quite busy. I see that btw in many games. That there are so often minor details, that could improve the game experience so much, but they don't change it. I make an example with Elite Dangerous. In that game you can earn credits and if you are a pilot of the first hour, you earn already 10k-100k Credits with each mission easily. Now I'm pretty progressed, doing a passenger mission and sometimes you get a Bonuspayment for time or other objectives. While the mission is 10,000,000 worth, the bonus would reward for 10k The bonus of missions are so much not rewarding, but they never change it ^^ When I play Eve Online, you get missions with lets say 100k reward, but the time bonus is also 100k. That's what I would expect I think, it's just a question of budget, that they have their priorities and limited work power. So they put the work power in somethin else.

    The torpedo paradox

    The thing is, that torpedos have a long travel time mostly. They are way slower than shells. So if you drop your torpedos perfectly with the enemies movement, then it can hapen a lot, while they travel 1) There is a torepdo bug, that your torps drop in a different angle, when you are turning your ship 2) The enemy is somehow aware of a DD by looking at the map, enemy movement, team composition and default approaches of the DDs etc 3) The enemy ship is just maneuvering, because of another event (enemy firing at the ship, planes are attacking) 4) The enemy just decides to go to another position and maneuvers. 5) Someone spotted the Torps There is a lot that can happen, that the enemy is moving and I like I said, torpedos give a lot time, that this can happen

    Though irl you would largely sail around those for not taking a risk and not going like 1 meter aside as close as possible ^^

    Well it'S for DDs mandatory, because how mechanics work. Their ammo rack gets easier destroyed. There is still stuff, that it mandatory. At in some cases I agree, that it should be changed. But the Deto-mechanic is something that applies on "all" ships (except those, which don't have main guns). So Deto-flag in general are not mandatory, while the mechanic exists for all ships. CE is mandatory for most DDs, that doesn't mean we should remove th at skill and give every ship -10% detection range ^^ Going with your example it should be rahter changed for DDs. That they can't detonate, since they have only "secondary guns" as mainarmament (DDs guns are mostly secondaries on other ships, but secondaries can't cause detonations) or giving them weaker detonations like taking 30% HP

    I like Detos, because they are so random but also so devestating, that it's often actually fun. Causing and receiving. So even if I take a detonation it's always such a surprise, which is funny ^^ Though just my point of view And this is also fun, 2 screenshots of the same game :3
  14. actually there is a bit of truth. For example I don't take Deto flags mostly in randoms. So I put myself "on purpose" in a worse situation. I play of course normal and don't throw intentionally my ship away, but I also don't buy a lot of deto flags only for randoms ^^

    Though it's just the visuals. Surface ships see the visuals of single flak explosion, while the CV has the flak barrages to dodge. For the surfaceships it doesn't matter to see that, but I assume it might be better for perfomance

    fun fact, left hander have issues against left hander as well :3 Though we had a few left hander, so you kinda get used to it ^^

    Actually you can see the shells flying. The long range, which casues the explosions, have orange tracers So that is in the end also just a visual. Though you should also know, that the surface ships have other AA visuals , than the CV

    well yes, they are the developer and don't have to go with every feedback ^^ But the last test had a lot changes just by feedback. And it's not only submarines, other feedback was also recognized. I'm wondering, if they would change deadeye, if never anyone would have spoken of it
  20. Though even if Naval Battles will be better in future, it will have the same relationship like to World of Tanks. They are still quite different. World of Warships goes more with pvp-gameplay fun, while War Thunder has more realistic mechanics.
  21. Elite Dangerous had lately a peak high and followed by a peak low xD New DLC with great expectations, but then it was released unfinsihed and bad perfomance. Now they try to fix it with patches etc, but still not in a finished state imo

    Amd_Andre schreibt es quasi. Und klar, U-Boote sollten neue Mechaniken haben und ich sehe da auch kein Problem bei, das macht das Spiel vielfältiger. Ansonsten können wir ja auch Radar, SAP, CV, AP/HE-only, Hydro usw alles entfernen, weil es immer Schiffe gibt, die nicht darauf Zugriff haben. Ich sehe auch kein Problem, wenn nicht alle ASW bekommen, denn nicht alle haben Radar, Torpedos usw. Ähnlich wie beim DD, kann dieser nur angegriffen werden, wenn er schlecht spielt oder ein Risiko eingeht. Ich hatte schon DDs, die waren die ersten 12 Minuten nicht gespottet. Die kann man dann auch nicht angreifen ;)
