It's not about being at the suffering-end. It's about the interaction between players. If there is real chance to do something about it, like a Wooster gets spotted, turns radar on, dd instantly dead. No fun mechanic. In most cases, you can do somethin against citadells. When you receive citadell hits, then you're showing broadside. But a dd can't really angle or dodge a radar. That leads only into passive play - no fun. Maybe it's a list of the forum? When many people are complaining about something, then it should be something wrong? Developers need feedback to figure something out

Well, Radar and BB AP are actual no-fun-mechanics. Planes kinda, too. I mean, that's why they change BB AP and CV at least.

Well, generally you look up, how many ships have radar and then you play safe, until you know their position. If not already done: You can activate on your minimap the last shown position of spotted enemies, that helps.

Not all are the same opinion? What shall I think: I played ~50 games of reworked CV, I never got succesfully sniped, and if there was "success", it took the whole match, 10 or more minutes. Then you see Youtubers talking about "CV sniping" and that planes are telling the position of the carrier when returning (which is not true) Should I believe the Youtuber? Is he right, when he tells wrong information? Many people tryed CV sniping, because of these information, or just because they want try it out, if it is possible. It's possible, but it's also possible to sink a Wooster in a Shima...

I try to make it simple. It's an example, not the correct numbers, since I don't know the correct numbers. You have 20 minutes of game. You need 1 minute to reload your Torpedo bombers. The enemy has mostly cruisers and dd, just 2 bbs. The bbs die in the first 5 minutes. You have an IJN carrier. Now you want attack the enemy cruisers with your TB the last 15 minutes, but they got shot all the time always. You have to wait 1 Minute, until the next full squad is ready, you can only use AP Bombs or Rockets while that. on the other hand the enemy CV does the same, but never loses a plane. His TB returning to the CV and are aways ready after 30 seconds. You do 15 Torpedo runs He does 30 Torpedo runs. Who will do more damage? Ah right, both do endless damage. Just like a bb, they have endless shells... You're quoting me out of context, because you're often quoting single sentences, without the following, which would build up the context. The media does that often...

I just played a lot the reworked CV and many people are just wrong. Just watch all the youtubers and streamers, which are forming the opinion of many people, but if you watch there videos, you could see, that they're telling so much wrong things, while they also play bad

It's werid if different people have the same issue at the same time, but I would try to set on/off different setting like anti-aliasing and stuff

Every x seconds the CV starts to reload planes. After a certain time, all planes are ready for take off. If you try to start them before, you want have full damage potential, thus you do less damage. There is a difference between unlimted planes in total and limited planes ready for take off... If you lose planes, you might not be able to start them again... If you lose instantly all torpedo and dive bombers, then you have only rocket planes... So your damage potential is lower. You can't start them endless, when you lose them quickly. You quote only single phrases, wondering if you're just trolling.

Here, I quote again, and please read again. To explaing "countered". Is a Wooster countered by a Shimakaze? Nope. Does it mean, that a Shima can't sink a Wooster? Nope. Of course I get sunk by guns. But aa-weak ships doesn't counter a CV I start to think, that you're trolling

I don't wanna insult you, but please use your brain. Or is it, that you just don't know, how the reworked CV works? I try to explain, so it will maybe logical for you. Planes are unlimited. But a CV can only start planes, when they are reloaded in the hangar. If you lose your planes fast. You want be able to start this type of plane. Example: You lose all your torpedo planes. you go back to your carrier: You want start theym again and only 2 planes take off. Are two planes the same damage for you, than a full squad? As I said, when you lose all your planes all the time, you are not able to start them. And please, don't read only the first 5 words BTW I also mentioned multiple times, that the penatly is still to weak right now

When you get countered by the guns of most aa-weak ships, then you must be a bad CV player? I mean, if the game is not already over and no ships are left, then you should never get killed.... I almost never happens to me, when I play CV... so I guess I play all the time against players, who not mastered this skill xD

"Seem". But the true story, I'm not one of those "I want my ship to be the most OP ship". I just try to be realisitc. And as I said many types: I had no trouble with autopilot on the test server. As I said: I don't mind manual control. No idea why you're talking about that? xD Never had any trouble do defend myself on the test server... So, idk... maybe it's not balanced? xD It's a myth, that CV sniping is a thing, that many youtubers are telling. It's true, that many people tryed to CV snipe. But the reason for that is 1. They just wanna try it, if it is possible (I tryed that as well, it's possible, but not worth, only good against potatoes) 2. Many naysayer said before "We have no fighter manual control, now we can'" defend, and will sniping all the time" Sinking a CV on the test server is easy, if he is stationary, but even with autopilot, people had trouble to even hit, beside that they lost all their planes. Once I had 30 plane kills and a secondary kill, because they tryed to rush me... xD and if they hit, well then they did a bit damage, who cares. Especially the balancing is not done yet. Right now it felt like the is no punishment for losing all the planes, if they implement that, you will never go fo the CV. If a dd hunts the CV, just run away and stop that ship with rocket planes. also it's some kind of "skill" to avoid it. Potatoes are stationary or sitting at the border, they deserve to get hitten... No manual control will help there

It makes no sense, that a ship without manual controll is in a disadvantage, or have to quit the planes for manual controll? I would call that a disadvantage. CVs are pretty fast and positioning is a thing. Who said that I want it worse? I want it balanced. To balance something, ships need also disadvantages. I also had no issues with the autopilot on the test server, worked pretty well. I love CVs, but I don't like the RTS gameplay, and I don't like OP-ships. Guess you missunderstood me. It's just, so many people complain all the time, because they want the RTS gameplay. I like the new gameplay way more, you see the CV more, you are more in action with other ships and so on. I don't like that people complain about everything, even if it's the tiniest thing I would prefer manual control, I would also prefer, if the secondary would be main guns - with manual control

I would change radar, that it only shows the position of the dd on the map. Then all cruiser should get radar and maybe a slight buff of the sonar, so Cruiser can counter dds

I don't understand your arguments, RN cruisers have difference mechanics for AP, that's it I mean it's like comparing an anti tank rifle with a small mm tank gun

Well, there are many people telling you, that it wouldn't work all the time? You want reduce IFHE? Question: How shall Harugumo workd then? And that this game is "Campy". It's not because of HE, it's because of the closest target gets focused fired. If there would be no HE; no bb would push, because it gets rekt by crossfiring ships - no matter if dd, ca, cl or bb

it's really common to face a BB frontal or angled, when it'S about to contest a cap.... You can't just sit there and wait for a broadside, nether you can't teleport to another position. So a cruiser becomes useless, when bbs start to play smart and never show broad side. Just play ranked or clan battles, you will have that all the time, that a bb is sitting at one cap and showing only front. I played Yamato a lot in Clan battles, without ifHE or HE I would be unsinkable
