    Wondering who you mean, I see nobody hiding stats, maybe I just missed it. Just showing, that I perform better in Asashio than in any other T8, and showing the evidence, since eveyone can assert a lot. I prefer my arguments with evidences. It's not about the WR itself. It's about the difference and the relation. If I would have 50% with Asashio and 40% with Kagero this evidence would work as well and has nothing to do with stat bragging. I mean thanks anyways @_DeathWing_ The most people are not even arguing here, they have only assertion, or they try to argue with false "facts". See this in this forum really often
  2. I'm just wondering... you regret it, so you had no fun with those captains and stuff all the time? I mean at some point you will stop playing CV. No matter if it's because the rework or if it's because the game gets too old and boring. It should be more about the time that you had fun. If I had a lot fun the last 3 years with CV, I wouldn't regret it... but maybe it's just me... Also it says, that you get the free exp for the silver ships. I mean games like WoWs will always change and I guess that Wargaming don't have to give anybody something back because they change something, it's kinda nice that they offer this option The refund is for people, who don't like the rework. So instead of the progression, you could have the regression, which starts of course with the highest. The same way backwards. Otherwise people will do exactly do that, they would keep the high tiers and sell the low tiers for earn some stuff. If someone doesn't like the rework, why keeping then the high tiers?

    But it is a good destroyer Smokes are for (radar) cruisers - The destroyer is small and hard to hit - no need for smoke - The concealment is pretty good - no need for smoke - It's a torp-destroyer and doesn't rely on smoke firing Objective orientated plays - The long range torps allow the Asashio to go for the cap, while still torping enemies. - The concealment makes it easier to outspot enemies dds, while she is still safe. - If she gets spotted, she is good in dodging enemy shells, since she is so small.. The Asashio is the ship, where I get most Karma points, just because of the teamplay. Of course it depends on the player, who plays, but this ship improves it. The Kagero has no smoke and torpedo boost at the same time. Also the Asasio has the second hardest torpedos to dodge and 100 s reload. Only Yueyang torpedos are harder to dodge, while the normal IJN torps are the easiest to dodge. Combined with the long range makes it to a way larger thread for battle ships. And the Akizuki has more gunpower, but the Aki is larger so she is easier to hit, while the Asashio is really hard to hit. If the Asashio maneuvers are mastered, the Aki will have trouble to hit her. Beside that, the Asashio gets soon a 20% damage buff on guns. There is of course the issue, that torps only hit large warships. But hitting smaller ships is anyways more unlikely than larger ones. And because of that disadvantage the torps are so good. So this ships hits way more torps than any other dd My perfomance with T8 dds: The Asashio performs way better than the Kagero. Also to get the Torpedo load like a Asashio, the Kagero has to remove the smokes, so Kagero has less teamplay potential.

    Where did you find it? My crash folder is empty, guess it's just a temporay folder or something, since I got some crashes on the TST Server. And according to the crashes, I would say it's somehow normal

    Played about ~70 CV games on Testservers, if this information matters. I guess it's not intented since you don'T have this mechanic anywhere else. I would assume, it's more a bug, that just occured. A bomb can't explode two times in two different areas. A bomb can only explode one. (Or it's a cluster bomb, I doubt it's a cluster bomb) Anyways, said it really often. It's about the mechanics, the change from one big alpha strike to damage over time. The reworked CV can't drop every bombs at one time for one huge alpha strike. If the single wing strikes are too high, that's a balancing issue, not a mechanic issue. Is the reworked CV already finished? No, so why assume that the ship is already balanced? They're testing it. That's the point of test servers. To collect data and find bugs. I will mention the double penetration of the bombs in my feedback, because it not logically. On the test servers are many balancing issues and test values. The IJNs have 0 short range aa, they almost shoot no planes down. Guess this is just a test. btw, I said it multiple times, to hit 3 citadells is unlikely, because there are many factors. RNG of the spreading , the player movement of the ship, the aiming of the CV player. I had alot times a perfert fit of the spreading on a Montana but it still hits turrets or hits something else but not the citadells... with a perfect aiming. But talking about this makes no sense, the balancing of the damage has nothing to do with the model of the DOT model

    Alpha potential damage is higher on Alpha and more likely that it happens. Your arguing is wrong, you say to remove AP bombs, because they do a lot damage, while you say that is the reson for the rework But as I said many times, it's about the alpha strike. The new model is about the dot damage. I also said, the bombs explode right now two times. As penetration and as citadell hit. I'm sure thats not intented. Arguing about balancing issues to fight the model makes no sense. The model is doing damage over time to reduce the alpha strike. That what the developers did. Balancing is still work in progress, since there are also many bugs. At last : You're talking about the 3 citadell hit like it's happen all the time... I can do 50 k damage with one salvo in a Yamato... remove Yamato it's op!

    1. Already mentioned, the bombs to a penetration hit and a citadell ... I still would guess, this is a kind of bug, since bombs can't explode two times. They detonate in the citadell, or somewhere else, but not at two locations. 2. Damage over time means, when you deal damage over time and not in one moment. if it takes 20 seconds, then it is damage over time. 3. It's not that likely, that you always get 3 citadell hits, I'm really surprised, that Flamu hits with that angle of approach, guess the change is somewhere at 30% to hit like that, or even less. Bombs even miss the citadell with a perfect alignment. I'm pretty sure, that a damaged monatana like in the video get really hard rekt, if it would be RTS-CV. 4. The new DW torps of Haku deal a lot damage, that's right, but there are always more then one factor, that does matter. Just compare it with the Shimakaze torps, she has 15 torps and they deal the most damage, and yet nobody is complaining about those torps. Because they are easy to dodge. The Haku torps are kinda easy to dodge, since you need to drop them around 3 km away from the target. Also, if the damage is too high, then balance it - but that shouldn't happen by some peoples "feeling" more about statistic and gathered datas, which wargaming is collecting, I would assume. I mean, yes, the torps hitting really hard for plane torps, but they're not that easy to hit, when a player is actually paying attention to it. If a players moves straight, then it'S easier, but they need a lot lead to get hitten, and that gives a lot space for dodging. So if those torps do too much damage, and the damage should get lowered, then the hit chance should get increased by lower arming times or more speed.

    I would buy her again. It provides a lot teamplay. Good concealment for capping, small target, is able to use the smokes for teammates, since she is so small and has good concealment and also don't need to use the guns for damage

    T8 BB's in T10 games, an idea for survival.

    381 mm / 6 = 63 mm penetration capability - there is no bow with that armor ^^' if they use 1/4 it's 95 mm. In case of the Yamato, there is mostly only armor around 30, and 50 mm or the citadell armor

    it seems like the most dangerous AA is the mid range aa. But the Zao midrange is not like the US mid range. The US mid range often shoot multiple times like a shoot gut, while IJN often only have single shots. The Shotgun shots are often harder to dodge for many players. But that's just an asumption, maybe I'm wrong Use the mouse to correct it, that helps a little - but yes, you have to aim good, before the dive ^^ It's also easier to lower the spreading, when you don't move, while starting the run. The aiming is way faster, when you start the run in a straight line. So start the run and aim then - aiming will spread a lot Aim and then start the run - spreading will be really tight The short range AA seems to be deactivated, I was flying above a Yamato and didn't received any damage.

    Yes, it happens often, that you do 1 citadell and maybe one penetrations, that are something between 10-12k damage. That is a really low alpha strike, and with this kind of hits, the enemy Montana with 60k hp would still survive a full squad. Would a 60k Montana survive an alpha strike of a Hakuryu with all squads on life server? As I said, it's about the alpha strike, not about the total damage. Wargaming did, what they promised, they changed the alpha strike, and added damage over time (not fires, but wings that attack over time) If the damage is too high, it just needs to be balanced, but it's not about the AP bombs... He bombs do the same damage with fires, potentially even more. HE Bombs - 22k damage, 3 fires (24% HP of a bb) - one drop. But they could remove the penetretions while citadelling ,because that is a mechanic, that makes no sense, since a citadell is already a penetration. A bomb can't explode two times... Yes, the IJN AA seems pretty weak, no idea why. Don't remeber exactly the first round of the test, but it feels like they nerfed it The dodging against one CV is pretty easy in a cruiser, sometimes you take a bit damage, but you don't get rekt that hard like the alpha strike of a RTS-CV. But yes, 3 CVs at one time should cause some trouble, but I guess 3 Yamatos/Montanas on a Zao should be also a problem , it's 3vs1 :D

    Well, yes, maybe you have to figure out, how the AA really works, dodging the Explosions and that stuff. After that, the AA will still hit, but you can get often many strikes out This Bingo is just... bad xD I mean cv sniping? Really? xD That works only against beginners, otherwise the squads get wiped. Especially when the CV uses the AA focus correctly, which is also mentioned here. When I was the last CV, the enemies had still trouble to shot the CV down, it takes many squads - totally not worth. Just saying "Mouse aim still controls plane movement" -> this one needs a red border... but btw, that helps aiming a lot, if correctly used. The keyboard keys add too much dispersion

    The Tirpitz survives the AP bombs of the RTS Midway? It's still about the alpha strike. If the damage needs to be balanced, that's something different, but not about the concept of alpha strike vs damage over time. Also you still can do the same with HE bombs, that has nothing to do with AP bombs. It has to be distinct between balancing the damage and the way how to deal the damage (Alpha strike vs DOT) Btw, tell me, how often you get the 3 citadell and penetrations hits.. it's not that likely, often the bomb hit the turrent, bow, stern, or water. Also I'm not sure, if the double penetration is intented since it makes no sense

    I'm serious about the definition of alpha strike. yes. And with AP bombs you can'T kill a full hp Montana, because you don't archieve with all planes all the time citadells+penetrations. That's just not possible. You lose planes while that. and bombs are still slightly rng, and you have to get a perfect aim.

    Alpha damage is the first strike damage, not the following strike damage. That's what "alpha" means here. When we talk about alpha strike, it's only the first strike. In case of the rework it's the first wing. In case of the RTS CV it's all the squad that are able to participate at the first strike The alpha strike of a bb is the first volley. In Mechwarrior, if you know that, the alpha strike is, when you shoot with your first attack all weapons at the same time. And not the following in a row What is meant with the issue of alpha strike is, when a ship get sunk by 2 torps squad in 1 second instantly. That's why we have no one large squad, which is not able to sink a ship with one strike. and not with two strikes.

    The RTS rework is not because of AP bombs? xD There is a difference between the alpha strike in RTS and the rework. In a best/worst case scenario the maxium alpha strike damage in the rework with a DB squad, when you really hit every bomb, is something around 30k damage. What is the maxium alpha strike damage of the RTS CV? Guess it's 100% of the HP pool of a ship? That's the difference. And that's only one of many reasons for the rework, not the only one

    I'm not 100% sure, but the HE bombs of Midway do almost the same damage + fires? I would say the average damage of the AP bombs against T10 bbs would be around 20k.
