    This question were meant to be goals, which should wargaming aim for, since the gameplay is already there. They just have now to adjust it, so there are decision to make and to 3. this works only with T10, the lower CVs (at least the IJNs) are not that good in finishing a dd easily and fast, so I would assume spotting could be better than moving back for another rocket squad. But only assumption, since we're not able to have full player battles.

    It's nice to read that, just wish they would slow down the speed of planes, so this kind of gameplay would just be even more rewarding

    Kind of you to say that. Well, it's non-reptitve in the same amount like every ship type. Even RTS is repetitive / non-repetitive, depending on how you describe it. I like the new rework, because I guess I really enjoy a good immersion in games and good atmosphere. Of course I would like even more complex gameplay, but the current rework already allow some mechanics and decision making. I can only assume, how it will be in the live version against real players and i hope the decision making will be more important like With which Strike squad do I start? When shall I use my fighters? Place it in front of a BB to protect him, protect a dd, safing it for a special case? Shall I spot the dd with my attack planes (less damage), or shall I refill my squad (more damage)? Also it should be a heavier penalty for losing planes, I wrote that in every test round ,that there are almost no penalty, especially better players will have always 2 squad types ready, if not all three. What I want say: The general gameplay is great, it need just a bit adjusting to make it fit into the game. I also think not being able to control CV while having a squad in the sky is not game breaking... I couldn't care less about it. I just would love, if we could get main guns with the CV, so if I have to get rid of my squad for controlling the CV, I could at least fire with them, it would be also much fun firing manually with the CV guns (Steel ocean had manual control of secondaries, it was just hilarious to use them ) ps.: The RTS style exists on WoWS Blitz the mobile game
  5. Oh, das wusste ich gar nicht, fehlt nur noch das für AP Granaten. Könnte man einfach sagen Penetration von AP Granaten bei Senkrechteneinschlag auf 10 km z.b. Nur um ne grobe Idee zu bekommen

    The bot behavior was different from round to round. . In one round they did kamikaze, but in another they didn't. They evaded often pretty good, better than some players, but the strategy was always pushing

    Well, I don't mind more complexity, but if you summarize it like that: The whole game is about moving a vessel and using the weapons... so kinda every ship is boring ;P

    Also press the cogwheel at the minimap and set two options: The name of the ships and the last seen position. Beside that, make your minimap larger and add some transperancy

    increasing reload would work I mean, I don't think that this ship needs to be nerfed, it has advantages but also drawbacks. But this could be a way Also we have to consider, that Wargaming want to change IFHE

    When you go by stats, you should also mention the drawbacks... 12 km Torpedo sounds strong? Well that are the Shimakaze torps, high damage and 12 km, but a terrible reaction time = easy to dodge. Also the Harugumo gets pretty easily hit by torps, since that ship is really unmaneuvrable. Above is a statisic shown, that the Khaba does more damage. Also the gras is always greener on the other side of the fence, so you should play the Harugumo maybe :)

    It's also impossible, because the game matches same types, tiers and nations of ships. That means if there is a 65% winrate Nagato, the games would have to search for a 65% winrate T7, japanese battleship, and that for 12 players.

    Die Asashio hat sehr gute Tarnwerte, ich spiele sie immer sehr aggressiv und cappe viel :D Du musst natürlich so gesehen keine ANgst von der Asashio haben als Kreuzer, aber wenn deine Schlachtschiffe Angst haben und sich verdrücken, musst du gegen die Schlachtschiffe des Gegner alleine antreten, das heißt die Asashio bedroht dich indirekt ;) Zudem nutze ich Smoke so gut wie immer nur für Kreuzer für Feuerdeckung. Ich habe mit keinen DD so viel Spaß wie mit der Asashio und ich meine das nicht nur wegen der krassen Torpedos

  14. WG does sometimes such stuff just like the Mutsu, she detonated while in harbor. The Mutsus second gun turret is low armored, so it can happend that she detonates. ^^

    Irrelevant, it was about, that bbs one shot Asashio. The dd has to be really low and even then, the bb has to hit. It's not very likely, that this happens a lot. I can reflect only my experience and the global stats. if that doesn't fit with the experience of other players, well, can't help it. I have success with this ship and actually a ship is good, if it wins a lot, doesn't matter about how it is desinged or what ever. A win is a win.

    "pointless & useless".... who is telling that bbs one shot a dd? Yamato (T10...) max damage 14800, penetration and overpen damage: 1480 * 9 = 13320 Asashio survives that (17,900hp SE). beside the fact, that a Yamato won't hit even the half shells. Oh right, it's nitpicking caring about facts and not spreading lies. Also "A good BB player", that is irrelevant, because most players are potatoes? (a common argumentation here)

    Said pressure, not killing. Scaring of bbs makes them useless. 5.4 km is outspotting the dds. It works, I do that all the time. I would call it teamplay to get easy kills and advantage over enemy. If I want play solo warrior, I would choose the russian gun destroyer. But this all doesn't matter, I perform good with this ships, because of the reasons that I mentioned. I have success with that ship, so I can recommend it.

    High pressure on BBs, even on those, which are 14+ km away. Good concealment for outspotting, also allows to smoke up the radar cruiser, since the Asashio doesn't need smoke.

    That's the point, Asashio has a good chance to hit and destroy bbs. Kagero has a lower chance to hit bbs and even lower cruisers and dds. It doesn'T matter much, when the Asashio can't hit with Torpedos, when all bbs are gone, if the Asashio sunk all the enemy bbs. The Asashio has then the value of multple players. Beside that, dds have still other jobs to do

    Kii needs a buff - petition?

    Hey guys, I play Kii since a while and generally I love this ship. In random battles I was always fine with that, but since ranked battles started I just noticed how bad this ship is. All the advantages, that this ship has are only secondary properties and the weakness lay in the primary properties. So I was wondering, is a petition for a buff possible, or at least a change/balancing, we don't have to call it buff. Would you change it? People argue with the "secondary properties", that this ship is fine. But: What are one of the main properties of a battleship? Fire power and sustain. Firepower means good main guns, sustain is mainly armor and HP. I think that this ship needs a buff of the main guns, similar to the amagis guns. Most ships have sigma values between 1,8 and 2,0. Bad dispersion like the german bbs have a sigma of 1.8. Even Amagi has 1.8 sigma. So there are also ships with good dispersion like the NC with 2,0. The Kii has 1,7... just why? It's one of the worst value in game, but it's so similar to the Amagi! Just to summarize the Advantages of the Kii vs. the disadvantages +Torpedos: Torpedos are no primary weapons, you don't use it often, it's more an emergency weapon +Good Anti-air: Only good, when there is a CV. How often do you fight against CVs? In ranked maybe 10% or less of the games. -Bad armor: The bad armor makes also the advantage of Torpedos weaker -Bad guns: Primary weapons. They shouldn't be that bad. The combination of bad japanese armor and bad guns make this ship just bad. If you would have good armor like germans, you couldp lay this ship as melee brawler and torpedos would be more useful as well. It feels like you play a Tirpitz with worse dispersion than a Bismarck. Just imagine the Tirpitz would have a worse dispersion than Bismarck, would you play it? If you are for the 3rd option to change something else than guns or armor, write it down here! I'm also glad to here of your experiences with the Kii in ranked! I'm for buffing the guns, buffing armor is more difficult because of realsim

    This thread is a bit older. Kii doesn't need a buff, when there will be many CVs most matches, because the AA becomes more important and not just a gimmick.
