HE/Fire spamming völlig ausser Kontrolle
Pikkozoikum replied to JackRansom's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Ja, wobei die Premiumspielzeit wichtiger als das Premiumschiff ist! -
The population went down because of the nerfs, not? They mentioned, that they buffed the CV too much, then they nerfed too much and now they try to find something between. Nothing wrong with that, it should only already be done with this patch in my opinion

Same for me, I have fun in surface ships vs CVs and with the next patch, it will be even better.

Not really, I just don't go with unobjective posts

Not my fault, if you don't get the point

I have no idea, why you quote me. I didn't say "Nothing to do with skill gap". I was talking about the different kinds of skill gaps. The RTS CV skill gap issue was about that a good CV can stomp the Bad CV actively with fighters. A good RTS CV Player would make a bad CV player useless. With Rework the good CV player can't really make him useless, he can deny a bit, but the bad CV player can still play more or less normally without having a 1vs1 with the enemy CV. But since you refer to my RTS and reworked stats, you need some knowledge: 1. My RTS Kaga has a bit higher winrate than my reworked Kaga 2. The other RTS-CVs - I just started with CV, so I lacked in knowledge, thus I'm obviously worse with them, especially I started this game one year later, when people are more experienced. So I had to face experience players, while I had to figure out, how this work 2 b) I started Reworked CV from the beginning and had about 300 games on the PTS, thus I was in an advantage over people, who just started their first games. 3. I played reworked CV way more: 378 RTS games vs 473 Reworked games (+ 300 PTS games and +Clan battle and + 100 Ranked)

I see no issue with an increased skill gap. I saw an issue with the skill gap with the RTS, because it was about the skill gap between the CVs and not between surfaceships and CVs. The good RTS-CV directly affected the other RTS-CV. So a better CV could weaken the worse CV and the surface ships suffered from that. But in this case it's not about that ofter ships suffer from a worse CV directly. And actually that is what many people wanted, more interaction between CV and Ship, so they can use their "skill" against the CV actively and not passivly People often mentioned, that they can't "shoot back", now they kinda can.

Test round 1 ended yesterday, if you look at the round 1 news

In first place it was the high speed, I guess. But they did some bad decisions for the planes choice. I mean the GZ Planes somehow work, I guess those planes where supposed to be on GZ and some point. But the J5N of the Hakuryu is not a Torpedo or Dive bomber, it's not even a carrier based plane xD It's a landbased interceptor fighter
-
I played Ryujo recently, and for me it was fun to play her. The only thing which is bad made is the point, were they forgot to adapt some mechanics to the new aa mechanic like adrenalin rush, heal and damage reduction of attack flights.

Wargaming can elavulate datas better than we do, you can see that sometimes in their stream. In the last stream they were talking about Colbert and Siegfried and showing their data. I wouldn't assume, that they try to nerf the CV with the next patch, they try to change. That new AA is not everything that changes, also plane HP changes and AA damage overall. It will need to be tested. People were crying in the beta of the rework how OP CVs are, I told them, that they will try to balance them. Now people are crying that they are too weak. That's the process of balancing... xD Well, one CV has to be the worst, I assume? :D If there would only exist Saipan and Enterprise, you could still say "lowest winrate" I guess a slight buff would be okay, but if you buff the GZ, then this ship will perform better, also if the GZ is against a Shokaku, so the Shokaku will suffer and drop more becoming the worst CV. Then you need to buff the Shokaku :D

Are you talking about the new instant damage mechanic? It does 3,5% damage of current total HP of the squad, as far as I know

My last post. The plain truth about this game
Pikkozoikum replied to Grumpy_Shark's topic in General Discussion
Didn't bought Premium time for years and my winrates/exp increased steadily. Bought only the first year premium time, when I started this game. But I also bought many prem camos and ships and I don't do worse. No idea why you are claiming such a statement. I looked at your statistics and saw that you have a steadily increase in your exp, dmg and PR. Only the Winrate is at some point an up and down, but lately an increase. So your own static is disproving it. Not supposed as statistic shaming, since it's part of the discussion -
-
@Sunleader Guess the most important thing is, that people don't go with the numbers, but with the mechanic. Numbers can always be tweaked and Wargaming need data to adjust it.
-
150 loses with still full squads? Unlikely as long your dont spawn all your fighter planes over and over on enemy ships -which makes no sense. It's about if it makes sense. And it doesn't. I can mention correct numbers like Haku has 66.600 HP - a correct number, does it matter here? No. Why should I? First the statistic shows that Saipain is above Kaga but on the same level. Second I was not talking about, which ship is better, I was talking about the change of the mechanic and the effect of the mechanic. The new aa focus mechanics is a larger disadvanatge for larger squads. Smaller squads benefit more of it. Ofcourse, it is way overpowered as it is now. Would like to see the statistic of that. The overall statistic shows that Kaga is in a nice spot

"T8 CVs" is not a term for specific CVs. Still planes, I did not state strike planes, but planes in general. It's irrelevant for the discussion, if it's about striking and deplaning. it does as per calculation from Sunleader. Kaga has max 140 Strike planes at minute 20. But even 140 is not realistic, because you can reload all three plane types at minute 0 So having full squads with Kaga after losing 150 planes is unrealistic, unless you don't spawn fighters over fighters at the enemy ships, which makes no sense. This change is against the Kaga, because she has many planes in a squad, thus she has many targets that can get randomly hit and it would spread the damage. CVs with less planes per squad have an advantage over that. The Kaga lost an advanatge. Large squads are now a disadvanatge, they are also easier to hit with flak explosions. As I said refering to the only CV, that has a large flight deck, but also high loses per attack, makes no sense. No idea what the point is. Do you want the Kaga to be nerfed?
-
I was talking about this: Even with Kaga you deplane, if you go only for T10 aa ships. And losing 150 planes and still have full squads sounds pretty unrealistic, I think the T10s have something around 100 planes, but it's easy to calculate that Did I missunderstand something? T8 CVs is plural, not like "A specific T8 CV". Also the 150 Aircraft per game -> Not strike planes. Also attack Minotaurs and Kremlin with 150 loses and still full attacks don'T work And it's pointless from the beginning. There is one CV with the design of having a large flight deck for the cost of having many loses (weak planes) That is the balance. CVs with high loses need high reserves. CVs with sustaining planes will have less reserves.
-
But it's still pointless. As mentioned before, the Kaga has the trait of a huge flight deck, but weak planes. Also 150 was with fighter loses and also I don't think the squads are still full. Additionally the Rocket planes of the Kaga are worse versions of the Shokaku planes, which are already bad ;)
-
I see, I was just joining here a bit later, so I missed a lot. I was reading just about T8 CVs
-
Well, T8 CV was mentioned, not a specific. It's the special trait of the Kaga to have many aircraft, also fighter kills don't really count, they have like 1/10 Hp of a normal plane
-
The issue with the damage reduction is the same issue with adrenalin rush and HP consumable. They change how the AA dps works, but they didn't changed everything around it, which is related to that system. But I'm looking forward with the next patch, which changes a lot. Though I would also like if they add the focus thing, because it makes sense, that the AA should focus on the attack planes. I guess they don't do it just because they want the attack aircraft more undisturbed
