U-Boote sind gegen Surfaceschiffe immer unsichtbar ab tieferen Tiefen? Finde ich nicht gut, die sollten wie U-Boote auch ab 2 km sichtbar sein und nur bei 0 Knoten sollten sie komplett unsichtbar werden, auch gegen andere U-Boote Das werdet ihr sicherlich häufiger von mir nun zu lesen bekommen, denn ich bin der Meinung, dass das den "Thrill" ausmacht. Stillstehen und darauf hoffend, dass man nicht gesehen wurde und abshätzen, wann man weiter fahren kann. Für mich das wichtigste beim U-Boot

Never understood that, why changing 200 mm gun mounts just for a few more AA guns. Why not going for 100mm or 120mm guns and use them as hybrid? Ah, they did that? Missunderstood it :D- 207 replies

I know, I would change a lot, if I could, e.g. the J5N (landbased interceptor fighter) on the Hakuryu and get some real DBs and TBs. But it's often more like complaining, than real constructive critique

In Stream or Video they said, they don't want add fixed tubes. And that wasn't that long ago. So, they' won't come for a while at least until they change their opinion. But I would assume, they will never come, would be too much torpedo spam, I guess- 207 replies

It's an arcade game, so they would work. The Katori wasn't a combat cruiser either, but still in the game. Also Steel Ocean has all the large subs in their tech tree, so they already working in another game ;) I really hope, they don't go with the small subs of the IJN. Being large with bad turning circles is their drawbacks. Ships and boats should have disadvantages- 207 replies

Just because they argue with statistic, doesn't mean, that they don't try to improve gameplay, that everyone can have fun. They also mentioned that in one video, I believe. If they would say, "we did that because it makes fun and is no furstration", then people would complain: "they don't use statistic, otherwise they would see the fail". The unqiue traits would be more those huge submarines. The IJN had the largest (I-400) Thus I would go as special trait with the 90-120m longer subs of the IJN. Large HP pools, maybe a lot oxygen and planes- 207 replies

Kongo zu Amagi sind wohl die größten Unterschiede. Dennoch sehen sie sich sehr ähnlich aus, denn sie erfinden die Schiffe nicht komplett neu, sondern bauen auf Vorgängen auf. Man erkennt sehr viel Ähnlichkeit, und zeigt man alle 4 Schiffen einen Laien, der wird kaum einen Unterschied sehen, evtl sogar sagen, dass es die gleichen sind. Ich finde die U-Boote sind sehr Unterschiedlich im Aussehen, Bewaffnung, Größe. I-58 vs. I-400 Länge 108m - 121m Bewaffnung 6 Torpedo - 8 Torpedo 1x 140mm Flak - 1x 140 und 10x 25mm Flak 1 Seeflugzeug - 3 Sturzbomber Die Aufbauten sind komplett unterschiedlich. Ich sehe da sehr viele Unterschiede und wie gesagt, bei Steel Ocean gab es 7 der großen U-Boote, und die waren mir unterschiedlich genug, wobei ich die I-400 nie hatte.

Du meinst die Unterschiede wie Kongo, Nagato, Amagi, Kii? 4 Klassen die sich alle sehr ähnlich aussehen ;) Oder Asashio, Kagero, Yugumo, Shimakaze, Fubuki. Die Zerstörer sehen sich alle ähnlich aus xD Der Vergleich mit der Fletcher funktioniert nicht, weil das eine Schiffsklasse wäre, die U-Boote sind aber nicht eine U-Bootklasse bzw -typ. In Steel Ocean hat es auch geklappt, da waren die ersten 2 Tier kleine U-Boote, ab da an nur noch Große. Ich war IJN Sub main in Steel Ocean und mir wurden die "ähnlichen" Typen nie langweilig. Wegen der Flugzeuge würde ich zwei Varianten vorschlagen. Entweder bekommen die einfach das spotter plane / fighter plane consumable, dass es schon gibt, was ein spotting Vorteil sein kann, während des Tauchens, oder man implementiert wirklich selbststeuerbare Flugzeuge. Entweder einzelne Divebomber, oder im Falle der I-400 Reihe 3 Sturzbomber.

Hatten die Japaner nicht die größten U-Boote im 2. Weltkrieg? ;D Ich hätte die Japaner so gestaltet Groß - viele - med/viele - lang - schlecht/schnell- träge - evtl Flugzeuge + was anderes, da nicht alle ein Flugzeug haben Ein paar Beispiele:

@Procrastes I think that was really only a Halloween "special" mechanic, like the whole Halloween think is about "superpowers" and that stuff. As closer they get to the Steel Ocean subs as happier I will be. I really loved those subs, but WoWs is just way better than Steel Ocean in general. I always hoped for Subs in WoWS

I got a few times after 10-15 Containers a Supercontainer. I often save containers, until I get a SC. But it seems, they nerfed the SC content. I remembe,r when I started the game, that I got 500 signals, nowadays it's more like 100? or 50 of the better one

Have you sent a ticket to the support? If you do so, explain them everythign, what you already tested to make it easier to figure out, what it could be like a check list -New driver -Reinstall the game -Restart the system -etc Makes it easier for the support

Well, I played only IJN and those had the longest diving preperation but also the most HP, so they would have DD like hp. Also it's a different game, so if 10s is too much, WG can tweak it. Just instant diving would be stupid. You have also to consider, that submarines are super small, so most shells will miss even with a good aim. That's interesting from the perspective of the submarine, how will it look like? I mean visual wise. I'm hyped about the submarines! I would assume that they will change the hole mechanic. In Steel Ocean Hydro was a passive and had ticks every second. If a sub was in range at a tick, it will be visible for idk ~3s maybe. And now different ships have different sonar. BBs like 30s/tick, cruiser 15s/tick and dds 5s/tick. Cruisers and dds had depth charges. For DDs it was easy to hit, while cruiser were a bit sluggish and had more issues to hit the deepth charges. I would change it like that, because it was fun in Steel Ocean :D (I was a submarine main in Steel Ocean)

In Steel Ocean it was like 10 s or something until they start submerge. Just hope they don't do this arcade thing like it was in Halloween with instant submerge :D

Me neither, though they don't need speed. They are supposed to lurk for enemy ships, so they can wait at caps for enemies. I like this kind of mechanic- 207 replies
