    Weiß nicht, was du mit Anflug meinst, der Angriff ist auch ein Anflug. Ich starte den Boost meistens ein paar hundert Meter vor der Flak. Sagen wir gegen eine Japaner so ab 6.5km, dann voll durch boosten. Durch den Boost streut die Flak mehr und ist leichter auszuweichen. Da gibt es nun verschiedene Ansätze. Die Flakexplosionen folgen einem bestimmten Muster. daher kannst du auch selbst lenken, wie die Flak streuen soll Z.b. mit nem Torpedo bomber-Anflug Die roten striche Zeigen an, wenn du gerade aus weiter fliegen würdest, dass du dann in die Flak fliegen würdest. Du fliegst eine Kurve zum Schiff, sodass die Flak in eine flasche Richtung gelenkt wird. Hier nochmal zur Flakstreuung Wenn du voll mit Boost fliegst, streut die Flak weit voraus bis nah vor dich. Da ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass sie dich trifft geringer. Während wenn du langsamer fliegst, die Flak auch einen kleineren Bereich abdeckt

    Schaue gerade das Enterprise Video Direkt am Anfang fliegst du einaml schnur stracks in eine Fighter Staffel und verlierst fast alle deine Flieger. Das kann man leicht verhinder, wenn man auf die Map schaut oder das Fliegersymbol beachtet. Du hast die Bismarck mit TBs angegriffen - soweit die richtige Entscheidung - aber auch ein paar Flakwolken mitgenommen. Ist nicht total schlimm, sollte aber vermieden werden. Habs nicht genau gesehen, aber mit TBs immer mit max Booster durch fliegen, damit die Flak mehr vertikal streut Im späteren Anflug wurdest du nochmal von ner Flakwolke getroffen - das sieht man daran, dass mehrere Flugzeuge schaden nehmen und nicht nur das letzte im Squad. Mit Divebombern ist es manchmal ganz gut, nach dem Drop abzubremsen und zu drehen, so hat man einen kürzeren Wendekreis udn fliegt nicht wieder in die Flakexplosion. Konnte leider nicht genau sehen, aber es sah nach boost aus. Am Ende sehe ich, wie du mit den TBs deinen ganzen Boost verbrauchst, dann zum Angriff aber keinen mehr übrig hast. Ich würde niemals ohne Boostenergie angreifen, und bei einem Torpedo angriff immer voll durch boosten, denn je kürzer du in der AA bist, desto weniger Schaden nimmst du. Und das größte Problem ist, dass du da Coop spielst. Sprich du hast wenige Gegner die aber alle zusammen rumfahren. In nem normalen Random battle, hast du viele Gegner, wo immer mal einer alleine rumdümpelt. Und wenn nicht, muss man geduldig sein

    CVs were suppoused to do more damage than BBs. There is always one ship type, who does the most damage, because that is the game design. When did they added the emblems and symbols? You can archieve them by an arverage damage over 100 games with a ship type and the CV was the ship type, who needed the most average damage to unlock the emblems. The BBs the second highest. If picked a random week at 2018 and the average damage of CV is 68k They have a lower kill ratio than RTS CVs, at least for the Data I checked. If that is a problem, it just needs to be balanced. Because you have different modifiers for different classes. For example battle ships get more Exp for potential damage, than other ships. Thus if CVs get too much exp from their jobs, then they have to lower the modifiers for defend bases, or spotting. But I don't think that is why a CV has high average base exp. It's most likely because they almost survive until end in most games. Thus they are generally able to gain more base exp than a dd, who dies in the first minutes.

    Wargmaing würde die Kosten aber dann verändern. Wenn du jetzt angenommen immer 20k Wartungskosten zahlen würdest, wäre das mit mit Reperatur kosten sowas wie 40k totalschaden und 0 bei gar keinen Schaden, damit sich die Waage hält. Der Effekt wäre dann, dass die schelchten Spieler viel mehr zahlen und die guten Spieler weniger.

    Es war schon immer so, dass ein CV genau wissen muss, welches Ziel er anfliegen kann und welches nicht und auch pre-Rework konnte eine AA-geskillte Akizuki ziemlich was austeilen. Die Wartungskosten fallen immer an, es sind eben keine Reperaturkosten. In anderen Games wie War Thunder ist es extrem frusteieren, wenn du für jedes Schiff die Reperaturkosten zahlen musst, du fährt mit denem Schiff los, wirst ge-one-shottet und weißt jetzt : Oh schön, darf das volle Schiffe reparieren! Zu mal in World of Warships snd nur die Wartungskosten der 9er und 10er hoch. Du musst bedenken, dass die Flakexplosionen bei jedem Schiff viel Schaden machen, aber diese sind ausweichbar. Also ganz gleich, ob das Schiff an sich eine schlechte Flugabwehr oder oder eine gute, die Explosionen sind immer tödlich. das wäre sehr hiflreich um weiteres zu analysieren, insofern du denn HIlfe von anderen möchtest

    Beside that, what you mention: Evade rockets is tough, but depending on ship, lets say as DD: Deactivate AA. Move towards the rocket planes, if they are already approach you. Rocket planes need a long distance. There is also smoke Though avoiding rockets from a good player is of course not easy. Evading bombs - show broadside and most bombs will miss. Or Wiggle in the right moment, but this could also end up, that the CV expected that wiggle and give a full hit.

    I see that different. From the realistic/logical view a BB has way more protection. Torpedobelts, multilayered decks, and beside that, the size makes the same volume of damage less meaningful. Hitting BB with a bomb could mean like 1% dmg, if it hits nothing important. But if the same bomb would hit, lets say a rowboat, then the rowboat will devasted - 100% dmg. From the game perspective the BBs take more damage in total. They 're slower and larger, thus they receive more hits Just going with the AP bombs, who tend to drop not into the center, but always making a gap in the drop pattern, and the enemy cruiser is so often in this gap, where no bomb hits...

    Just like an artillery in tank games? It's the game design, that a class is able to outrange people and kill them. Abathur in Heroes of the storm can kill other heroes, without being touched by them. Must be an overpowered character.... or it's a game design with different classes and not a 1vs1 game. In a team game it's irrelevant, if one player can kill another, if he still loses. And by the way, you could do that in RTS as well... were you here in forum and saying that CV is op and godemode as well back then? Just wondering. Hmm, I saw this: I also shot down planes with my Ashasio, which would never happen with older AA. So it's kinda true. Or do you mean with Defend - wipe full squads in seconds? Taking damage will be always the thing, no ship is immune to damage You can use AP even against bow in ships. They will take damage. That doesn't mean every salvo will do damage But same with CV. He will do damage, but maybe he misses or do only a small hit like a 3k torpedo against a 100k hp BB

    That's true, and I always try to tell that people. But it's op, if a CV can do any dmg against an AA Ship, people want their Wooster/Mino/Gearing and kill all the planes with the first flak explosion. *exaggerates*

    well, if you go with potential dmg of flak explosion, that it will be maybe the case. But it makes no sense. Otherwise I could say with every ship, that I avoide more than 95% of the income damage. since the potential dmg is often 1-2 Mil. So, avoiding that many dmg would be normal for every ship type If I go with total AA damage, in most cases the cont. dps is doing it. I mean ships like Yahagi have only cont. dps. The thing with Flak explosion is, that they do a lot damage, when they hit, especially with DefAA. thus they need a low hit rate. otherwise it would be totally op, if people can shred in long range with every attack. The long range of a single ship is not the problem. Also the highest cont. dps is in short range, and the DBs are not by passing that. It's more a problem, when there is a second ships, who is shooting with long range, while in short range of another ship. It's not about to believe, if someone can avoide flak explosion. I can avoide those most of the time. You were talking about "AA damage" and that's what I'm refering to. The Flak explosions are not the major damage source of the total damage. If I have to do an assumption* it's like 5-10% burst 10-20% flak explosion (but also depends heaivly on the players, guess it could also go up to almost 100% in single matches, but I'm talking about over all, wish I could see statistics about that) 70%-85% cont. dps *it's not a fact

    Is slingshot even worth? The mechanic change. I mean long range doesn't do much damage. The major damage source is short range, and this is not bypassed with sling shot. I assume, that people, who use slingshot, will still lose planes

    Could you show a replay, where nearly 100% is evaded? Guess I'm not really skilled, since I lose planes to AA Btw, I remember someone, who said, that it's not possible to dodge air strikes, while against a BB you can get immune when bow in. Which would be the same case

The condition is, "if someone is against something from the beginning" That doesn't mean, I dismiss arguments, because I want lump everyone (everyone?!?! where did I said that) into a group of people And is my comment wrong? Is there nobody, who dislike the rework from the beginning, when it was annouced and is almost trying to sabotage it? I noticed that from one or two people (not a group) Also you are saying "dismiss arguments". There are often no arguments. Opinions are not arguments, at least not in Germany, because arguments alsways need an evidence/fact, otherwise it's not an argument, but a claim/assertion

    The Khaba hat recht gute AA, glaube ich, und kann die nicht sogar auch defaa haben? die Hakuryu hat einen erhöhten Vorrat an Torpedobombern deswegen ist es immer gut beide Seiten zu kennen, damit man mal sieht, dass das Gras nicht immer grüner auf der anderen Seite des Zauns ist ;D

    If people are against something from the beginning, no argument will ever change their mind. The CV gameplay could be 100% fitting into the game, and some people would still complain. Guess the "Dumbed down" arguement would be the favorite one. Or, that the CV has too low impact (in the case the CV would be well balanced)

    The standard argument of some people here would be: Because the other players are all bad. ;) If you are doing good, but other players not, then it's still a skill thing. The AA is working against everyone the same, the difference is the skill/knowledge of the players. Use the surface ships their sector system, do they play smart. Is the CV playing smart, going only for good targets. His the CV player dodging well the AA, etc. I would assume, that you learnt way more about the CV Rework, than the average player. Also maybe you played more idk

    The statistic matters way more and single opinions of players. A really good player can say CV is op and easy. But this doesn'T matter, because he is a really good player and everything will be easy for him and he wil be good with everything. So his own skill is influencing his skill I remembe,r when I watched a master player on stream playing for honor, and he said "this game is way to easy and the lawbringer is a free win" ... well, this is not a general statement, it's only him, because he was so good. I explained the "skill gap" problem is fixed between good CV player and bad CV player. Guess what, the good CV player is still better. But he doesn't denies the other CV player completly with his fighters, thus the bad CV player can do something, without being smashed by a unicum. Also the CV has way less influence, I'm so often like 5 times more worth then the enemy CV and still lose, because the enemy team in general was better. Every good player performs better than a bad player. Has nothing to do with the CV. A bad player doesn't use smoke, doesn't try to angle, dies often in the first 5 mintues etc. I think the DD influence is higher. The CV has more flexible, which makes it easier for good players. It's the same like in league of legends, there are easy to play champs, and pretty complicated champs. Good player perform way better with the last one, while theere is less of a difference with easy to play champs. A bad player in a BB is less noticeable than a bad player in a DD That's something, that has nothing to do with the rework. That counts for the RTS even more, because of invincible (hp reset) perma-spotting dive-bomber If people missplay, that it's their fault. Same counts for people, who show full broadside against bbs and stuff like that. The most problem is, that people think, this is a 1vs1 game. But it's not. this game is not balancing every ship vs every other to make every 1vs1 fair. I think, depending on the situation, one ship type will never have the same value/influence, than another. I see CV more like a Artillery. A artillery is shooting from behind, without getting harmed, to give support fire. Or like the global-map characters in Moba games. For example Abathur in Heroes of the Storm. I don't say, the CV is perfectly balanced. But I also don't think, it's like people describe it here, it's totally overstated. I assume, that some people are just mad because of the removal of the RTS gameplay and they're not interested in balancing the CV and make it work.

    Yes, and the majority are the average players. But you can't balance because players are too bad for dodging AA, or playing smart around a CVs attacks. Otherwise the same woudl count for torpedo prediction or avoding broadside. If you don't want the "skill" component in this game, then you have to remove it compeltly and make it just 100% RNG without any aiming or needed knowledge.

    Yes, please, try logic. You think, there are only bad players and you. We can clearly see that you are argue with "bad players" But there are many players, who are not bad, but also not unicums. Those players don't lose always all planes. Even bad players don't lose always all planes, they are not bots, even if you like to think that. Thus, if the AA is really weak, most players won't lose all the time all planes. (Otherwise I want see the proof of that) If the AA is stronger, than players will lose more planes, or all. Over hundred thousands of games, you would clearly see the difference. But there is no. But believe, what you want ;) The claim was "dps is not shotting down planes" and I disproven that, it also doesn't matter if Yahagi or other ship. cont. DPS is killing planes. Well, you can believe that your claims are the truth, but without any facts, it's worthless, what you think. I go mostly with statistic and not what random people tell.
