in smoke sitting Smols is meta. Double strikes are of course not often, but hitting Smols in smokes is not rare. Doesn't matter if you think, that only brainless people get hit in smoke, as long at happens often enough in my games, I'm fine with that.

It's not just a modifier on total Bexp. The ship types also have different modifiers. A DD gets a bonus on spotting. The CV gets a small bonus on spotting. A BB gets a bonus on potential dmg etc. If a CV gets 100k spotting damage, than it's less worth than 100k spotting damage on a DD

The Base EXP are super irrelevant, because they are different for everyone. What are the Bexp saying us, when the conditions for ships are different from the beginning? I mean give -50% to CVs, are than CVs balanced? xD

The last superunicum that I checked has solo lower winrates with rework than with RTS. So you 're right, fallacy ;P On what? Mostly there are evidences. That was just an example. Getting 5 bursts with full squad Hp is more than realistic. Or that you get even way more bursts. No idea, what the max burst damage in a match could be, but I assume ,it can be higher than 6k. In some matches I use the burst 2 times per squad, one time at full size and another time when damaged after the first strike. So it's likely to be even higher. As I said, I had 30k+ matches a few times the last days. you go with an irrelevant scenario. I was just mentioning, that Shima does now damage. The scenario that you describe is not the scenario that i have mostly in ranked. I go with crusiers giving the cruiser aa and smoke support. e.g. a Des Moines against DBs. And when my team cleared the cap, I go for the cap. Yes, as single ship. You have to see the whole picture over the whole match, not what a single ship does. The rework is not about no fly zones and deny 100% of the strike. That was the RTS gameplay, where you were able to drop 100% of your load with the first strike. It's now about to deny as much damage as possible. As I said, I play against 60%+ WR planes, not a single one removed me from existance. You are assuming, while I have empiric proves. Fighters get shot in seconds, bevore he is even done with his strike. As a DD in a CV match, you don't solo yolo around. Fighters have how much hp? 100? I was not talking about how many fighter kills I get, I said 30k aa damage, which is way more than RTS. If you compare that with the RTS - DBs who spot you and can heal - how you deal with that? Than the fighter kills are much more valuable, than the non effective damage on the RTS bomber, which doesn nothing

I wouldn't blame the community, according to some here, Wargaming never listens to the community If I would have to take assume, the Developer have meetings and go with posts, that the Community managers send in and with their statistic, which is better than the statistic we got (relative damage numbers etc). Then they discuss decisions and multiple people always come to different solutions, than single people. That's why the game is not like some people want it. Otherwise we would have CV removed, CV reworked, CV RTS, CV special modes etc at the same time I would change a lot, if I could, but I don't think that Wargaming is doing that bad like some want let believe us. I mean, we 're playing it? :D Which cycling? Dive bombers squad without bombload - high speed and invulnerable - is perma spotting. And mostly the CV tries to get you with the first strike. That was way less fun for me. I did the same, when I played CV. Using DBs for perma spotting until the DD is dead by teammates, by my cross drop, or the DD is compeltly out of the game and only around extreme heavy AA. If e super unicum does a good cross drop, the dodging should be very, very unlikely? ;) In ranked I played against a lot 60%+ CVs and just one time, a CV did a lot dmg, two strikes 50% dmg in total. But then - i was overextending, because we were clearly winning (6vs2) I also baited attacks a few times. Activate AA with burst dmg, then deactivate and turn around. Then the CV went for an attack strike, but into the wrong direction :D Well, I prefer games with CV mostly. Because it's annoying, if their is a huge skill gap between the DDs. Even a bad CV player is spotting passivly, but a bad DD player can get deleted in the first minutes.

Well, that'S good, that it isn't that effective any more :) Well, I do that in ranked against high win rate CVs :) Assuming that the TB squad of a Haku has 26700 HP and I use my burst 5 times with 5% - 6675 dmg alone by clicking - that are 3 plane kills. If a CV stays for 200s in the long over the whole match, 50 dps *200 =10k Then I'm at 16k only with Long range and burst. No consider the ramping up to 135% dmg and the overlapping AA. I played DD in ranked with rework and with RTS in ranked, and AA weak DDs are way more fun now for me. Yes, but Wargmaing wanted to change that. Instead of having single super aa ships and ships that literally do nothing, because low dmg + aircraft instant heal, they have now all more average AA. Even a Shima can do now damage and shot planes down. For my point of view, it was before a pretty stupid gameplay, when a Mino kills everything isntantly and others do nothing and rely completly on the CV or having a Mino around....

Actually going with Base exp to compare different ship types makes not much sense at the first place, because every ship types gets different modifiers for different tasks. Beside that, just an example, would you say, when I play Asashio in a T10 match and get high exp values for long range torping and spotting, while staying hidden has the same value when I play Mogami with 15km range in T10 match? When I would get with both over 2k, I would still say it's not the same effort. I would use base exp for comparing only for same ship types or same ship and other players.

Yes, my bias is always not that worthy than your bias. If I compare the 5% best players... with the Old CV the good players win more often, do more kills, do same dmg or more, kill more palnes, have higher K/D rate. And counterplay option... yes I remember with IJN ships - hope for enough AA heavy ships. With Rework the Shima even gets 30k aa damage an more. Was the Shima able to kill planes before without any AA skills?

Well, that's actually how most RTS Fans argue, they go with the Super Unicum and their best results to show, how "broken" the rework is. That's what I'm annoyed of, when this kind argumentation is valid against the rework, but not valid against the RTS and for a rework xD Is your statistic also considering the numbers of CVs per match? I mean, if the CV in RTS and Rework is the super killer against DDs, but in RTS only every 20 matches, and in rework every 2 matches, then it's obvious, that they die now more often, because of more CV-matches and not beacuse the CV is such a killer :D To make it clear in a fictive example with numbers. so what I mean, could those numbers be trusted?

The time period doesn't matter. Katori is a Tier 3 and launched 1939. Nagato is a Tier 7 bb build 1917-1919. Also pre-WW2 ships often got upgraded over time and fought against modern ships. Nagato is the best example, which survived WW2. Orion was in commision until 1922. Guess the T4 Wyoming was also in duty in WW2? The different Tiers are more about combat ratings, than actual chronologically progression.But of course both correlates the combat value and the time, when they built, because with time comes better technology, thus the Tiers often correlate with the built, but I guess that's not what the Tier is about, I guess it's only the combat rating of the ship, which matters. -

Actually with introducing class, which do dd tasks, the tasks of DDs get reduced. CV can spot. SS can spot and cap. So it's a shared work, and not only the job of the DD, thus the DD has to do less. Also killing DDs is not exactly a job of the DD, imo ;) Could also imagine that the DD meta changes to a support and escort ship. Moving around 5 km with the fleet, and if a cap is free, then cap, otherwise support the fleet with AA fire and SS hunting. I mean even now, when I play Shima in ranked, I stay often with the fleet, until I can lurk out a bit, but I also have often like 30k or more aa damage in a Shimakaze :D -

That's why I see the current mechanic a step into the right direction. It's semi-manual and needs at least awareness. Though I also suggested, that the burst-componoet should be aimed and more dmg, so it could fail -

I see realism always as a plus point, so it's an argument. I just wouldn't use realism as an argument against something, because the game is not bound to realism. -

Fighter (Removing Attack planes with rockets) Adding or changing the attack planes to fighters, which are able to attack aircrafts and ground targets. The fighter squads wouldn't split into multiple wings, but always attacks as whole squad. To limit the squad, it would have ammunition for multiple strafes Strafing a surface target It could have different effects, depending on what is prefered. -It could just destroy AA guns -It could disable/debuff the AA, causing a panic effect on the ships crew and weakens the damage output of the AA for x time (2-3 minutes maybe) For surface attacks, the fighter enter a strafe run just like any other strike aircraft. and for successful strafing, the planes have to hit different spots (similar to the pinging spots for submarines). So DDs could have two spots, cruisers 3 and BBs 4, but it could also differ from ship to ship. Hitting a spot could reduce the damage by 50% against DDs for each spot, 33% for cruisers, 25% for BBs, numbers could be tweaked. With this kind of mechanic the AA damage and the striking damage also need a overhaul. Because we have to consider, that AA can be complete denied, but also the CV would need more time to do actualy damage to the ship. That means the AA damage should be higher, but also the striking dmg. Attacking other aircrafts It should be more like an option, the major task should be the strafing of enemy surface ships. It should be more engaging and fun than fighter consumable, but less impactful than RTS fighters. An example could be, that a Fighter squad has 4x ammunition, thus it could fire 4 salvos/volley against other aircrafts. It should need some skill for aiming, so it could maybe destroy 0-2 aircrafts each volley.

AA spawns in 3 secots, in front, left and right. Most go central and a percentage to the side, depending on the number of explosion. something like that More Explosion would mostly mean, that the sides left and right get filled with more explosions

It was pretty bad, but got huge buffs, I I remember correctly, it was Sigma 1.8 to 2.1 and high deck armor (40mm? 57mm)

She was bad before the balance patch, now she is a fine T9, very accurate Also you can buy special - fexp ships, so I would safe them, or if you want to spent them on progressing, than only on modules, guns, hulls etc
