    in dem Text steht auch Sauerstoff. Den gibt es nicht mehr. Es gibt nun Batterieladung, welcher durch Pings verbraucht wird. Ich glaube durch stillstehen wird der schneller aufgeladen oder Peri-Tiefe. Im Zitat bezieht sich der Text wohl auch auf 1. Betaphase ;)

    I don't think, they will change much. They said, they reworked it to the current version, because they don't like stuff from the 2. version. They also said, the surface level would be useless. So I think they go their direction. Steel Ocean is generally a worse game, but they got it at least right. Subs are invisible, when at deep level with 0 knots, but they are also blind. The subs are underwater slower... I don'T understand, why they don't just go with what subs are actually are. Hmm, dont remember.

    I liked the gameplay before more. Visible on surface, sneaky for real close ranges on peri-depth. That changed now. Visible on peri-depth (5km) and sneaky underwater. Thus subs will now torp underwater, if they want stay sneaky. Which I don't like. I liked the idea to sneak up to a BB at 4km and go to peri-depth and launch torps at him. It feels like, they miss totally the stuff, that is for some (or many?) sub players important. I mean subs travel on surface. They torp enemies on Peri-Depth and they hide underwater with silent running. Also they finish off ships with deck guns (I know, only cargo ships, but in this game it would work with low hp ships) And now it'S completly not like that, underwater is travel, hiding, attacking...

    Ich finde einiges schlechter mit der 3. Testphase. So wie ich das sehe, gibt es keine Oberflächenfahrt mehr, demnach auch keine Deckkanonen. Kein Silent running. Man kann nun allerdings auch Unterwasser pingen und zwar 3D und nicht 2D wie auf Periskoptiefe. Hier sehe ich das Problem - warum überhaupt auf Periskoptiefe pingen? Man wird fast nur noch Unterwasser rumfahren und von dort pingen, schätze ich. Denn da sind die Tarnwerte viel besser. Vorher fand ich es besser, als man sehr gute Tarnwerte hatte auf Periskoptiefe, und schlechtere wenn aufgetaucht. Nun hat man die schlechten Tarnwerte auf der Periskoptiefe. Silentrunning gibt es glaube auch nicht. Meiner Meinung macht es WG falsch. Wir bekommen highspeed Unterwasser Uboot. Anstatt thrilling silentrunning U-Boote. Oberfläche ist auch wichtig für mich. Zu einem wegen der Immersion, zum anderen für Deckkanonen, die nützlich sein können. Ich spreche aus Erfahrung von Steel Ocean, das Gameplay ist sehr ähnlich da

    Didn't got one yet :-| Though mechanic wise it looks good, but still disappointing. No surface leve, no deck guns, no silent running. I think WG goes the wrong direction

    Well, there are better ships, but I would also assume, that even the worst ships in this game are still enjoyable ;)

    Hmm, I think the germans are good for beginners especially, since they are a bit tankier than most. Though that doesn't mean to play risky. I think you can have a lot fun with those ships and for a casual player it doesn't matter, that those ship might be a little bit weaker. It's more about real competitive play, where clans pick the best ships and then you would look for the best obviously. Though in ranked with T9 I ranked out with the T9 german BB quite effectivly and the BBs got now a buff

    I think the german lines are all good, but not too op or too strong. Do you want them, because you just like them, or is there another goal. e.g. for clan battles etc?

    You can do that without the research buru? I'm actually fine with adding them there, but only if they don't cost like 10k of the research currency. I don't want regrind a full line just for one upgrade.

    The RN ships have special AP. If they would get HE; than I would assume, that they would nerf the AP =)

    That's actually how most ships have to be played. On long range or with cover of islands. You are thinking of scenarios, where a enemy curiser is right 10km behind a Sub? I would expect, that the good sub players will go for the BBs, far away from any support.

    I remember in Steel Ocean at high Tier with too few players. 4vs4 with one sub in one team and one CV in the other ^^

    I see, even good peoples do sometimes brainless action and die quickly. Though if you want more credits you have to follow some basic rules, tactics etc ^^

    If you want more credits, you have to figure out the issue, why you are not performing better to get more credits =)

    As long as I know ships up to T8 shouldn't have too much of a Credit issue. T9 and T10 though are pretty expensive. Though I'm not really looking at my outcome, since I have more than enough ^^

    Well, a general advice, this game has a huge learning curve and you are still pretty new to this game. Even after 1000s of battles, you might learn stuff in this game. When I played my first T8 it was like "nope, no fun" and I just wanna warn you, T8+ will be different :D

    Depends, year of premium is only good, when you need the money and exp. I don't need, I got everything, if you are in the same state, it would be uselss. Crates are random. If you want a safe choice, Massachuchu

    CV Rework Discussion

    It depends on the players. I'm pretty sure, that some players have no idea, how to reduce damage. But when I played ranked at rank 5, more good players were around, also good CV players. But even their damage can be mitigated for example with a Fint. With a DD activate the Burst AA and deactivate instantly, then change direction. In some cases, the CV approaches wrong and is not able to manage one hit. Doesn't work always, but fints in no game, or reality work always. My experience in ranked was, that the CV is not that OP and frustrating like most wanna make believe others. The CV mostly profits from bad plays, lack of knowledge and bad team players. Though I would like to see matches between skilled players, one is allowed to take CV, but then they are not allowed to take another shiptype like BB, cruiser or DD. Would like to see the results. Or maybe both teams are only allowed to pick 2 ship types

    @Sehales kannst du darüber Klarheit verschaffen, was damit gemeint ist? " Submarines will now have only two depths: periscope depth and underwater level; " Das klingt so, und manche haben es gemeint, dass es kein Oberflächenaufauchen mehr gibt

    1. The DDs get prey - something that they are considered to counter (means they get ships, that don't counter the DD like CV or Radar cruisers) 2. CV and SS take tasks away from DD. CV and SS can spot, SS can cap. I assume, in a CV+SS match ,the DD will be an AA and ASW escort ship, that mostly stays with cruisers and only engages, when they are safe at a cap or an SS is too cocky.
