    Feedback There are good changes, but also some design decisions, that I really dislike. I start with a short change list, what I would change to improve gameplay, but also to make it a bit more historically correct.     When you sink a BB, then he mostly did mistakes :D With so many subs and DDs around, enemy subs are always spotted and then it's pretty easy to stay out of range and kill their mates. one early spot on an enemy SS - he lost 80% of HP by one of my salvo another sub got sunk by me, when it tryed to surface to avoide other SS torps

    Guess there is no confirmation, but it's probably. I mean they test a lot, why wouldn'T they bring that into random battles. Though first it will be he additional game mode. If all people would be like "No subs", then there might be a chance, they don't implement it, but I don't think that is the case. I like subs general and I want subs, though the current design is wrong. Guess most people who are against subs are generally against any new implementation. If we would have only BBs and crusiers, and we would implement DDs, they would be against DDs and complaining about them "They can torp from stealth, they are way too fast, nobody can reach them" (except CVs)

    I don't think, that we need oxygen, but I don't like, that "surface" and especially "periscope depth" are pretty useless. The deep depth is too powerful in any way. Attacking from there shouldn't be possible imo They made that to be able to fight sub vs sub. But I think that is a bad decision, it's not even realistic. And I don't mean "it's an arcade game, it hasn't be to be realistic", no it's unrelaistic in a way that you could give BBs also laser guns

    Ships are different with different advantages and disadvantages. If there would be really the scenario, where is 1. Not enough time to get the caps 2. Only the SS is surviging 3. No DD/CL left And you lose it then. there will be also scenarios, where you wouldn't win against a single DD, but you would win, if it would be a SS instead. Scenario with 3 Radar cruisers, you might would caught the DD, but not the SS Scenario with 3 CLs the DD might be fast enough to just run away for 2 mins, while those 3 CLs could easily catch the SS So yes, there are scenarios where the SS will win "for free", but there will be scenarios, where ohter ships would win, but not the SS We could also say, a SS can't mostly run away, huge disadvantge ;)

    would be enough, if battery doesn't recharge at slow speed and with empty battery only 1/2 speed possible. So if the sub decides to stay dark, it will do nothing

    in that case the 5 people should win anyways by points. I don't see why it's so important to actually kill one. For winning you don't have to, and when a SS decides to dive all the time, then it's not able to be flexible and get points. Submerged SSs are very slow. The major disadvantages of SS are the speed and range - people just have to play around that.

    Actually in case against a DD yes - in case of Submarine, BB can try to win with points, because the SS might be slower than the BB, especially when the SS wants to stay "immune"

    ap bombs seem to have splash damage against submarines as well. At least bombs hit around me and I got damaged

    It's nice to have the Surface Level back, but the Periscope Level is completly useless. The gameplays feels like modern submarines, not like second World War. You guys need a historian, who checks the game design...

    Achso ja, das wusste ich schon, dachte nur gerade du meinst, dass ein Schiff selbst in sich unterschiedliche Ladungen hat wie Wasserbomben und Hedgehogs :D

    Hmm, das ist nice, die Wasserbomben scheinen korrekt animiert zu sein. die zwei in der MItte werden zur Seite katapultiert (hier nicht sichtbar, da schon verbraucht. und die 4 Wasserbomben hinten werden einfach abgeworfen. Man sieht gerade wie die erste links fällt. Das ist schon mal ein großer Pluspunkt, dass da so korrekt drauf geachtet wurde und nicht einfach generisch irgnendwas passiert

    I'm not sure, but can't those ship lock segments, so just some rooms are flooded? I mean, those ship are weighing so much, if now there are a few tons of water in it, I think that doesn't matter. Though I guess it depends on how much it's flooding, if it can hold in small rooms or if the water pumps can deal with it

    Soweit ich das mitbekommen habe, hatten U-Boote weitaus mehr Sauerstoff als Batterieladung. Die Mechanik ist aber fast die gleiche, wobei die Batterie-Mechanik mehr Komplexität aufweisen kann. Sauerstoff würde nur die Tauchdauer begrenzen. Die Batterie begrenzt die Tauchdauer indirekt. Das U-Boot muss nicht auftauchen, wird aber ineffizienter, wenn es ohne Batterie getaucht bleibt Die Batterie wird verbraucht, wenn man schneller als 1/4 Unterwasser fährt, oder wenn man Pings benutzt. Ich finde das Konzept eigentlich ganz interessant

    I generally can't understand that either. It's new content and gives more varierty to the game. If people don't like different ship types, WG should maybe add an additional game mode, where only BBs can enter.

    1. Where is that a problem? When the bb pays attention, the bb will out run them. Subs are generally around the speed of the BB, submerged way slower. 2. They have to increase the speed. nobody would play a 12 knot submarine at max speed. Though submerged they are already pretty slow. But we are not playing a simulation like Silent Hunter, and even there you have a time acceleration. It's a pvp-arcade shooter game, so the Developer will change the design from the realistic to comfortable. 3. Myself would prefer "normal" torps, but the acustic torpedos existed. And it's still an unrealistic arcade game with mostly historically ships. 4. They were planned, when they talked the last time about 5. No idea, why that is important, balance can change every month, that's nothing, that will be ever "final". Reading the PTS changes, I would assume, that subs rely on the stupidity and ignorace of players. They are generally slow, and even slower submerged. So a good player will know how to escape from a slow ship/boat But more later when the PTS is online.
