Kommt drauf an, was man vergleichen möchte. Wenn man die Unterschiede zwischen Torpedo-DD und Hybrid-DD aufzeigen möchte, dann kann man die Hayate gut mit Shima vergleichen. Ich würde die Hayate am ehesten mit Gearing vergleichen. Die Gearing ist wie die Hayate ein Hybrid DD, wobei die Gearing ein Allrounder ist, den man grundsätzlich gut als Basis-Vergleich nehmen kann. Die besseren guns sind Hybrid guns. Sie sind besser als Shima, unterlegen aber jedem richtigen Artillerie-DD wie Harugumo. Glaube die DPM war geringer als die der Gearing. Wie eine Shima ist sie schwer zu fahren, da sie langsamer ist, schlechter wendet, und sehr viel schlechtere Tarnwerte hat. Ich probiere zur Zeit noch aus, wie man sie Fahren kann, denn die kombination aus schlechter Tarnwert und der "durchschnittlichen Kanonen" macht es schwer einen Stil zu finden. Es ist so: Die die schlechtere Kanonen haben, haben bessere Tarnwerte. Die die schlechtere Tarnwerte haben, haben bessere Kanonen. -

I know, but I dont have 3.2s reload on the guns. It wasn't that bad, With Shima I would have 2x10 Torps that I could have launched Shima like? -

Ship name often get multiple used. That happend in real life, but also Wargamin does that with ships, that didn't exist. Hayate in the Wargaming version never existed, it's based on a prototype 127 mm twin gun (those existed), and Wargaming took those guns and put it on a Shimakaze. It's not unrealistic, that they would use those prototype guns on a DD like Shimakaze. Thus this ship is fictional, the guns are not, but were never on a ship. But it's realistic, that this ship could have existed in theory -

I would rather go with research points. Especially with the double research points bonus is usable. And then use EP Flags and Camos to regrind the line. I did that over time always with the double bonus, when it was avaiable -

Well, played that ship now a few games It's not a gunboat, it's not a torpedoboat. The guns are too bad for a gunboat (21mm pen with HE), and the Concealment too bad for a Torpedoboat (6.1km - and also IJN torps...) So it's obviously a hybrid, and that's what we actually all wanted. But the design is wrong. When we play a hybrid DD, we expect the best of Torp- and Gun-DDs. But Hayate is the opposite, she gets the worst of both. Slow, sluggish and bad concealment, combined with the IJN Torps, which can hit pretty hard, but also easily spotted. The guns fire fast, when taking the modules and skills (3.2s), but they also shatter a lot even against cruisers (21mm pen). This ship really needs the 5.9km concealment imo A hybrid dd with all the downsides of a gun dd. -

5k average? I played yesterday with prem Camo and normal signal Fexp and got 500-1000 and I was always on the top score. Going with all Fexp boost that are available maybe, but I wouldn't waste those for normal games -

There is no hybrid DD for the IJN, so it's actually something special for IJN players, though the stats are not that great, it seems. With 5.9 concealment, it would be great. -

Anyone is buying those ugly camos? I mean I got so many just by playing this game. Though I would buy nice, (historically) looking camos. So that makes money as well -

I will buy it, because I play primarly IJN. Though I agree with most comments here, it's way to expensive. Also it has classical Wargaming IJN design: Somewhere an advantage, with dozens of disadvantages. -

Ich finde das Gameplay müsste eher dazu geändert werden, dass U-Boote allgemein weniger Reichweite haben. Ein U-Boot auf 9 km Distanz kann von keinem DD gecounter werden, da der DD dann zur gegnerischen Flotte fahren muss. Würde das Gameplay insofern geändert, dass 5-6 km die max Reichweite ist, und häufiger 3-4km, dann müsste ein DD nicht so weit wegfahren, um seine BBs zu verteidigen. Mit ändern des Gameplays meine ich nicht, einfach nur die Reichweite runterschrauben, sondern auch alles was damit verbunden ist, wie Tarnwerte, Geschwindigkeit, Schaden usw. -
I would say all BBs have inaccurate guns, some are just more inaccurate, hehe. The French BBs are very squishy, they have bad deck armor and that means, they are very vulnerable to HE dmg. I think the US have good gun accuracy

German BBs are semi tanky. While they have turtle back armor and good deck armor, they still have huge superstructure and the Großer Kurfürst is also the largest ship ig (if I'm not wrong). So it will take a lot shells. It's important that you don't play them like "I'm a tanky ship, so I rush towards the enemy", you still have to play like every other BB without suiciding into the enemy Same for Secondaries - they have good secondaries, but they are still secondaries and not primary armament. So don't try to get always max use of them, use them only, if it doesn't put you in a bad position

Thanks, it's good to see, if others also like to see that changed. The game is more in an Arcade mode, but Arcade means for me to simplfy the gameplay. But the current version of submarines are not just simplified, they are also wrong designed. They're not designed like a 2nd WW submarine. Key aspects are missing, what I want in a submarine gameplay.

There are some conditions... first: have you hit the spots on the ship or just the ship? At 1 km the torpedos stop homing. Also the torps can't turn like insane
