    Exactly where I'm coming from. LWM did some tests with those turning circles which led to her finding this, I just don't know how she did it But yeah, this easily might be me getting a "wrong feeeeeeeeeeeeeling" because of the ships length, but I'd say it's worth checking out Yeah, generally tightest turns would be done at about 3/4 speed. But even going at full I've managed turns which straight up shouldn't have been possible But as I said, might be nothing more than a wrong feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling

    Which is exactly why I asked if he has played any BB past the dreadnought stage. And I still think PEFs turning radius might be bugged, it turns way too tightly for that to be 800m Sadly enough I have no idea how to test that

    Yeah, great. Now, can you answer the question? If you think this ship is sluggish I really feel like you've never played anything past the dreadnought stage. PEF does nearly 30kts, and despite that manages some pretty tight turns, especially for a ship of that length. It's anything but sluggish So, Bogue + Zuiho dropping you? That's 3x TBs (14 planes) and 2x DBs (10...12 planes) of whom... yeah, only 6 seem to have survived to this moment Ever heard of overwhelming the AA? A single 1-2-2 Ryujo can drop an AA spec'd NC by going all 5 squads in at the same time. Or a full stock Shoka with t6 planes can still drop a Mino going in all squads at the same time. Massive losses (just like it seems to have been here), but you can get through purely by overwhelming the AA, there's just so much it can shoot down in the time it has. Here, ran a couple training rooms for you (Ocean /// bots not moving, but armed @ high /// dmg-con used only on flooding): PEFs AA (AFT, BFT - because secondaries - and nothing else to boost it) vs Zuiho + Bogue (your screenshots case) vs Ryujo + Independance vs Hiryu vs 2x Hiryu So... yeah. Clearly incapable AA, especially for a t6 Ahh, we have finally found your problem. Turns out your reading skills rival those of the average 3 year old. I'm always intrigued by some peoples ability to write without knowing how to read Let me know when you've finally learned to read and went through what I posted, then we can continue this discussion. Untill then - feel free to stay as clueless as you currently are

    Yes it does. And you still fail to understand how it works Yes, it is. And that reduced sensitivity comes from the fact that you aim on XZ plane, not XY plane. Once your shells have reached your ellipse they don't stop mid air, they obviously keep going till they hit something. This is why you get a projected offset on Y axis while never aiming on it. The coordinates for the center every single time you fire (while locked on the target) would be X [lead] Y [0] Z [height]. Meanwhile if you are not locked on a ship you always aim on the surface: On water your aimpoint would be X [lead] Y [distance] Z [0] On an island your aimpoint would be X [lead] Y [distance] Z [height] Exactly. They apply to the ellipse perpendicular to XZ plane at the height Z which you were aiming at. Not the projection on XY plane, even if they are so close they would be identical for all intents & purposes Which is why I used Amagi as the ship shooting - IJN BBs have some of the flattest arcs out there., And it still could miss Bismarck by a massive margin. Not even talking about some high-arching shells like from NC (or relatively similarly PEF) Lets go back to my example with Amagi (really flat arcs = rather large target shadow) vs Bismarck, make Bismarck into a 45m (the general sup.str. height I had there) wall that's 94m wide (the width of Bismarck I had there) and centered at the XY crosspoint, and then see the area covered up on that ellipse. A.k.a. literally make Bismarcks hitbox into a massive box vs Amagis min v.disp. values. Same distance of 15km for h.disp. & angle. Ellipses total area is 91 232 m^2, of which area covered up by the target block is 48 291m^2 or 52.93% And this is with a massively oversized target vs ellipse that's unrealistically small to a nearly ridiculous level. And best you got is 52.93% covered. Move the target point on Y axis and your % starts dropping even more as you are leaving the wide center in favor of the tighter ends. So please, start learning how this works for once. ...basically identical to every non-japanese BB at t6 QE, Warspite and PEF - the only 3 t6 BBs with 2.0 sigma Every single other is 1.5 to 1.8 Yeah, pretty much like all the others, aye? I'm not even spec'd into AA, only AFT & BFT that boost it. T6 CVs are no match, Hiryu will take significant losses before getting to you & even more while those planes fly away. kagas t6 planes get shredded. Only Ranger with its massive plane HP pool could reliably got a lot of planes through my AA, and even then I just focused down TBs so all he could drop was DBs. Never played vs Saipan, can't comment on that one At this point I have to ask if you have ever played a BB before? At least past the low tier dreadnoughts? Nothing more than the new ship hype. Happens with everything new & shiny

    Biggest guns have biggest Alpha and best pen, who would have thought?! No way that's a thing! Meanwhile compare it to BBs and it will be consistent last. Almost as if battlecruisers lie somewhere in between BBs and CAs... The stuff he shows about fuse is nothing new either (in fact, I'm pretty sure that was known before she was even released), but I've never understood why she gets same sensitivity on 305s as others do on 203s.

That's a ban through support, so not only someone spent the time to make a ticket about you, but someone also had to review the case and give you the ban. So clearly there was evidence of you being toxic Why the extra day? Either you misremembered the date or... tbh I got nothing

    The X also allows you to cycle between them. It will try to prefer the ship closer to you, but just click it a few times till it locks the correct target, then aim & take the shot

Probably higher than you'd expect This isn't WoT. It's 12 players MM doesn't balance anything skill related, so there's nothing like tht purposely thrown together.     Actually idea of a purely defensive smoke on a BB would be rather interesting You can't use it offensively - at least not from any reasonable range - due to your smoke-firing distance, but as a "stop firing, break sight, get out" tool... wouldn't be too bad

    In blueprints & technical drawings Y's the depth and Zs height. Only X remains the same. Hence me being used to it this way Call them ABC axis, FLK axis, whatever other 3 letters you want. Doesn't change anything, it's jsut how you name them. Could you get to the point instead of failing to understand this?

    No, that would be Y axis My / your ship doesn't have to be portrayed as on bottom, it may aswell be on the side of the picture. Which is why I'm telling you which axis is which When you lock on the target you lose the control of Y and instead gain control of Z. There is a plane "drawn" through the ship when you lock onto it, and that plane is what you are aiming on. Of course, aiming higher on Z axis will still mean that shells go though your ellipse and keep going further on water making it look like you are aiming with Y axis even if you're not. As they said in the How it Works video (paraphrasing ofc) - if you were aiming on that axis even a small change in Y movement could shift your aiming point massively & far behind the ship you are aiming at You are, yeah. That's called dispersion, and there's nothing you can do about it. Of course, it doesn't "feel" like you are that far off bcuase the ships are 2.61 times bigger than they should be, so those 100m in comparison look like less than 40m And in fact you are over-(and under)-shooting them by far more, because you won't have the min v.disp. there, that v.disp. will be way larger than the number I used here

    Wouldn't be a problem as long as the current ships remain the exclusive rewards that they are. We don't need a new Steel ship every patch, the good old 1x per 3-ish ranked & 3-ish CB seasons would be good enough. And that would be something like 2 new Steel ships per year (1x lower tier from ranked, 1x high tier from CB for example)

    Except if the enemy has at least 1 working braincell and can angle against you. Then you kinda do. Maybe against lower-rated clans, not the ones who know how to deal with a Stalingrad I'll refer you over to Alaska Which is a big part of why those HE shells are so bad To use EL skill all of your guns must be loaded, which means you have already gone through 20s or reloading. It doens't work if even just 1 turret is in the process of reloading 20s is perfectly fine & balanced. I was surprised when i saw Kron having 18.5s reload, also Azuma with 310s is going for 18s. Except that in wast majority if cases it's 20. Sure, someone will run reload, but most simply don't Ftfy Exactly the same as every other non-CV t10 ship. Also what you fail to understand seems to be that this chance is the average rate you'll get. 10% chance doesn't men every 10th shell, it can be 1st and then 19th. The more fires you get (over a large amount of time not single salvo / battle) the closer you will be to averaging that same average fire chance. But you're nearly always close to it, games where you go over 100 hits with HIV for 1 fire are incredibly rare for example Also don't forget you're usually not the only ship firing at that Stalingrad. Just because you aren't getting a fire, doesn't mean others aren't. This is exactly why in a BB it feels like you're always on fire, while in cruisers it always feels like you can't set a fire
