Usually there are many months of work left after the original tease at the best of times, and that may be extended if the original concept doesn't work & needs a rework. Or the ship may simply get cancelled. Or postponed for some future event. And so on Current theory is that Wichita will be released as Steel ship together with the next Ranked battles, so in 0.8.0

    If you're sticking with it try to make sure as few programs are taking up your internet in the background as possible. No downloads, no online videos, nothing like that. When you're at this high ping every bit matters

    Grandpa Wil here: Let me tell you of a time long in the past when stock grinds were far worse and MM was +/-3 tiers... When I was a young lad oh how much joy I had in a stock Fuso - 13.5km range, WW1 shells - were they the same as on Myogi? -, spotted from further away than you can fire, 25mm armour everywhere, doing 20 kts on a good day with wind pushing you along, and going up against Iowas and Izumos!     Damage Saturation - Overpens

    Basically it's "normal dmg" vs "light dmg" Pens = normal dmg. It's applied to the compartment hit (like bow + "hull"), and when those modules run out of HP - you can't do damage to them this way anymore Meanwhile light damage - fires, flooding, overpens (I think ramming aswell) - is applied directly to your HP pool, and that runs out only when your ship sinks Also this:

    Why does the chatserver in port work for some but for others not?

    Multiple servers working together. One server goes down = people associated with it lose their connection. Others still work = people associated with them don't lose it. At least that would be my best guess

    Addition to that: 20190119_012415_PRSD206-Pr-7_33_new_tierra.wowsreplay The test in training room. 8-ish min long, for your convenience set it to 2x or 4x speed (default as "insert" key - 1 or 2 clicks respectively). Also yes, it's lagging because my internet right now is practically non-existent. Happens. Gnevny, even at point blank range, doesn't have enough pen to go through Yamatos belt, only the bulge. You can see all the above water bulge hits showing shatters as they should. 1 damaging pen is shell going a little high and hitting the 32mm upper belt. When I switch to shooting waterline / intentionally going for those under-water hits you can see the 0 dmg pens popping up

    An Open Question to WG

    The average players intellect is going down not up, so no, they really are not. Half the time I wish I had bots in my team, they would be far more useful... Apart from that there is the casual farming acc with their "AFK until spotted" or "blindly following closest allied ship" and alike. But those aren't introduced by WG, it's just people trying to cheat the system any way they can - in this case with some weak bot programs. And they are quite few and far between.

    Knowing how yolo & fast paced low tier battles tend to be I really struggle to think of a less useful 4-point captain skill than RPF at those tiers. Apart from manual secondaries, ofc. Also people play whatever they enjoy playing. WG has newbie-protection systems in place, you don't get thrown into sealclubber matches right away unless you play in a div with an "older player". And whenever your newbie-protection is removed - by that point you should be aware of at least the basics like which colour is which team or that you own a keyboard, or that you can use your mouse. And if you have got that far - you are more than capable of decimating most players at those tiers regardless of their captains.

    No it doesn't. Check your mouse, might be time to get a new one 1 - it's a BB, dispersion is massive at any range 2 - who recommends fighting "at long range"? Especially for a co-op player like you? There are no ranging salvos in this game. Unless you are extremely bad at aiming your 1st salvo will always already be on target Also go in settings and turn "Alternative Interface" on. I recommend the "Full" setting for it 1 - don't repair 1 fire. It can be 100% healable, and depending on your build a single heal can go up to more than 1 fire worth of dmg healed 2 - all ships burn, that's nothing new 3 - you survived to get set on fire 6x because you are in a ship as resilient to dmg as a BB is. In a cruiser or DD you would have been long dead by that point Thank god for that Time to get better internet then. That's an issue at your end Explains how you managed to get sub-85% WR in co-op. Didn't even think that was possible Get better internet and git gud. That'll solve all the problems listed here, and probably many many more

    Bulges are effectively a non-existant zone normally. Hell, due to normalization having the bulge sometimes may even be worse than not having it Normally if you shoot the bulge without penetrating whatever is behind it you get a shatter not a pen - just like you would without that bulge. It seems to be bugged only with underwater hits. Similarly if you go through the bulge and then bounce on the belt behind it - that *should* give you a bounce ribbon. The only adavantage for the "bulge" would be if 2 ships have basically the same belt thickness and the ship firing at them has less than [bulge thickness]mm extra pen so Now HE would be a different matter, but against that those bulges are effectively "spaced armour", and that part is working as intended

    Allright, I figured how this works. @DFens_666 was correct (it's torp bulges), and what led to me was that @Rowboat_Cop fired at the waterline at range too short for shells to curve massively Basically if you simply shoot the torpedo bulge without penetrating the belt - nothing has changed, you still get shatters as you're supposed to BUT if that hit is an under-water hit, which wouldn't be too surprising when going for the waterline, those same bulge-hits suddenly start printing out 0 dmg pens This also explains why I personally hadn't noticed any change - if I go for a waterline shot it's when I'm reasonably confident I can actually actually go through the main belt. And in such a situation getting a 0 dmg pen or two seems more like "some hit where they're supposed to, some hit modules up higher". Also explains why against ships with massive bulges - like Yamato and Republic - there are more complaints about this So yeah. Obligatory @MrConway @Crysantos tag, would be nice if this could get fixed Quote from before your post Technically nothing has, at least not directly. This might have been a case that noone had discovered, or it might be a "tag along" bug introduced with something else (like that time when they tried to make bulges dmg zone)

    If you want to be really specific it's 26.01s to 34.68s. 26 and 35 are your normal rounding cases as fires ticks once per second. *as a sidenote this actually brings up an interesting question - will there be 34 or 35 ticks?*

    Becuase you are comparing top X% of every ship - top stalingrad players still are better & numerically far less than top "other ship" players. What you "should" compare is the top 5...25% category of "other ships" to 50% if not 100% category in Stalingrad, that would give you the 'fairest" comparison Generally if you check player-by-player generally Stalingrad performs very similarly to their other t10 CAs except for dmg. And for that dmg - it has guns larger than on CAs, but smaller than on BBs, what a surprise it falls in between them. Both of them do. And I'm pretty sure Alaska and Azuma also will do the exact same.

    No, it's a freemium. You get them with FreeXP and Steel, not through prem-shop / gold. Sure, you could have spent money to get Steel / FreeXP, but that's your fault, all we can do about that is laugh at you for falling for it I wonder if this has anything to do with the ship being owned nearly exclusively by unicum players...
