  1. What "prevents" you from doing it is the 2x dispersion penalty, good luck hitting a target as small as a DD with that when it's not even reliable for shooting at cruisers
  2. Flooding should be a better reward after the change as it should actually last instead of being insta-dmgcon'd At the same time, assuming it stays at 100% repair (why wouldn't it), single flooding time reduction thingy + healing signal (speaking of BBs here) would approximately equal dmg with heal. So yeah, not much of an insta repair there, I don't see that as a bad thing
  3. Well Shards looks a bit better now... And thank god it's not just another Land of Fire / Islands of Aids / Mountain Range / Warriors Path / whatever other identical map with slightly different lighting & colour scheme

Played around with numbers, looks like the formula for silver VMF Bbs tiers 3 to 9 is R(km) * 11.3 + 16 = MaxHdisp(m) It's not exactly a perfect hit, but it's pretty much the trendline T10 is still a mystery as it's just 1 reference point, I'd need at least 1 more Comparison with other BBs: Better than IJN up to 17km Better than KM / RM / MN up to 33.33km Better than VMF premiums (incl. Lenin) / US / RN (standard) up to 33.85km Better than RN (Warspite, Hood, Vanguard) up to 35km That 15km mark doesn't hold up

Most likely. Those values seem straight up wrong

posted a bit more in the t8-10 section, couple graphs & such. It's... weird
  7. I believe "bow / stern" refers to the direction from the midpoint. Similarly to how fires have 4 equal-ish zones covering the whole ship Because reading that it spots only BBs and CVs is hard

T8 prem is perfectly on the spot, t10... goes even above the worst of the worst for some reason
  9. sounds a bit long, but I guess that's why it's WiP With radar mod that will be: -Black 26.4s - Chung Mu 26.4s - Yueyang 30s - Dmitri Donskoi 30s - Kronshtadt 30s - Moskva 36s - Stalingrad 36s This is great 1) Anti-Flooding signal will actually be useful PogChamp 2) Flooding's probably not an insta-repair anymore? Also 40s at max reduction would be... 23.12s

Already mentioned this - dispersion module would be stable -7%, not anything between -12% and +3%

Soviet Battleships Tiers III – VII

The t4 is the only one that stands out, all others are pretty average. And it only stands out from the line, not flat-tops like itself (like the already mentioned Kawaschi)

I might be wrong, but it seems like all the setting there are for "e-mail notifications". Slightly inconvenient

Yeah, those dispersion values make no sense. This is all of them - t3 to t10 (excluding the premium Lenin)

Tried that, it would be solid -7% not between +3% and -12%, they clearly have a better formula for some reason. By the way, these numbers listed here are far more accurate than IJN values, which are already far superior to all other BBs Also these are ships without those upgrades.

Honestly I like the idea of that radar. Similarly to RN BBs - this is a BBvsBB focused line? Again, dispersion: Premium is practically spot on , the silver ships are off. Concealment: Also, about the t10:

I guess, but I have to ask "why?" They actually have it tighter than IJN BBs which are supposedly the super-extra-accurate ones in this regard Here's concealment for them all (with 0.8.0 CE) Keep in mind BBs lose far more concealment than cruiser do It would be a solid #1 (apart from VU which itself is in testing), but honestly I don't see it as too big of a deal. It's t4, everyone plays yolo rush tactics anyway, typical engagement ranges often seem to be sub-10km

@MrConway Why is the "follow" button only for e-mails not forum notifications? The 1st option but with forum notifications instead of e-mail was what I was looking for

What's up with the dispersion? Both VMF BBs currently in game - Nikolai and Revolution -, as well as the Kronstadt which supposedly uses VMF BB formula, have their H. disp. calculated as R(km) * 10 + 60 = MaxHdisp(m) All of the BBs given here have it *significantly* lower, going about 10% below that Same idea as Kawachi (8.33km detection) - it's basically as flat as a CV with couple funnells sticking out of it. It's low in the water and there's no high-point to spot Same ship (Gangut literally is October Revolution) post refit, with that massive superstructure on top, goes up to 11.94km detection there because of the height increase.
  19. Retraining as in moving the captain from ship to ship?
  20. 18 PvP + 6 PvE categories PvP: Tiers 5 to 10 -> BB, DD and Cruisers - each separate section (6 tiers x 3 classes = 18 categories) PvE: Aurora, Revolution, Kirov, Gnevny, Minsk, Leningrad So technically you need to get 120 (solo) wins to qualify for all of them
  21. 125 meh PvP wins @ 4 games per hour and 50% WR = 250 games = 62.5h. That's one What would be my chances of getting 1mil base XP in coop in 9.5h? Couple more events and I'll be there!
  22. So you're saying if I'm committed enough I can earn whole 2 credits?
  23. The same answer as to the 50 others starting these threads right now: it's a placeholder to track your progress in the event, it's not supposed to be completed

You mean someone actually attempts to read that nonsense that you call his posts?
  25. Seeing how those three dots normally indicate a bit of a pause, going by your own "definition" you have some severe thinking issues
