    I can provide you with the viewpoint of the Maass and both Fijis. While I'd love to get a replay from someone else in the battle (especially in the enemy team) there's quite a low chance of that ever happenning None, I would count those as "partially spotted" as the enemies would know the direction and could have estimated the range then. Also the DD was ahead, so he would be the one RPF detected

    Yeah, I should have at least blurred out enemies names, sorry about that. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, just saying that it looked like this. Sorry about this misunderstanding. Also the point about which ship fired - it's assumption made by the fact that Kutu was spotted right after the shells were fired. But the point about it possibly being Hipper or someone else - I do see the point for that, nice notice That's one of the points I mentioned, "hitting you when there is a spotted ally next to you". Not quite applicable here I can provide you with the replays from Fijis aswell, none of them were spotted. First time any of us 3 were spotted was when the enemy DD was spotted and we opened fire on him Yeah, sorry about that, I should have blurred out enemy names This is just the most obvious case without going into too much of explaining, as it's the very start of the game and the Maass (or both Fijis - I can provide you with their replays aswell if you want to) hadn't been spotted just yet. Just as I said - I'd appreciate if others who have experienced this would post replays / videos with it. I'll most likely go through my own replays and compile the situations that I fail to reasonably explain.

    In the 2nd part you can see it a bit better, as there the turn isn't sped up - he turned and slowed down. Kutuzov was just 12.5km away, so it didn't take too long for his shells to arrive after being fired. I would agree that it's an unlikely random shot towards there IF the shells wouldn't scatter right around the DD. 3 splashed right in front of it, 1 right behind him. Do you know (realise? not sure which would fit better) how improbably low the odds would be for a random shot to be aimed right at the position where there is an enemy ship who hasn't been spotted yet? And just as I said - this is just the most obvious case I've had, there are plenty more. Wouldn't be making a post about it if I wasn't reasonably sure that there is something wrong

    Disable steering gears

    Firing HE at IJN BBs / IJN CAs / DDs overall - aiming for their aft. Hitting the aft section or quite often even just landing a HE shell next to it in the water usually quite quickly knocks out their steering. Definitely not the hardest task to complete

Pretty sure this was said to be fixed at least once Basically the bug (from my experience) has 3 severity levels: 1) Fails to load whole or part of the ships camo Obviously not gamebreaking, just a visual bug. Doesn't matter if it resolves itself 2) "Night battle" - fails to load all camos AND textures but ships are still visible (screenshot taken with hud turned off) islands have no vegetation on them Makes it hard to play, but you can still do something 3) Completely blind - apart from your hud there is nothing on the screen also same in the map view Obviously rather gamebreaking as there is NOTHING you can do ---------------- And thing is - it's seemingly getting worse and worse

    That was my assumption, just that if there's something open behind the game it's only Discord and maybe VLC playing some online-radio, not quite the most memory-intensive programs..

    being sleepy lol, failed to write about that. it usually goes away within first 30 seconds to 2 min. Longest I've had is the "2nd" stage for around 7...8 min. I bet you can imagine how annoying that is

    Thing is, that it's only needed at higher ranks. Up to and including rank 11 I had no need to load HE, potatoes give you their sides all game long. Only when people get better you need to start thinking how to deal with them more efficiently. It's like when you play CVs, up to rank 11 you can freely run strike Ryujo and completely shaft the AS Ryujo on the enemy team. On the other hand that's not going to be so easily done when the enemy knows what he's doing. Playstyle's different just by the fact it's slightly more teamwork based. You go as a team instead of splitting up and doing your own thing, that's pretty much the whole difference. Doesn't have to be, but it is because it's more efficient. "Just camped" - so they already failed to understand how to play a BB. I mean, there is no reason to be the first ship in the game who runs face 1st into enemy torpedoes, but sitting back doesn't really help. Also Kagero's a tier 8... unless you mean in randoms or something like Shinonome :D But I get the point, I've seen a plenty of BBs getting deleted this way. It's nothing to do with their amo choice, they're just potatoes who don't know their ship can take a hit. And I do agree that firing HE requires far less skill, as it removes most of the counterplay enemy player could use against you. Also just because you move actively and play up front (like I do pretty much every battle, because there has to be someone tanking for the team and if it's not the Warspite camping 20km behind you - you'll have to step up yourself Kappa) doesn't mean your AP becomes more useful. As much as I've played since last weekend - cruisers are making their comeback, probably (at least partially) tnx to prevalence of HE firing BBs. As long as there are a bunch of cruisers to soot at - I'm still going AP. But your AP is inefficient against BBs, that's where the point about firing HE came. I'd say that if you are using a BB with 380mm or larger guns you can just stick to "only AP" like you would for most of the time as you can overmatch enemy BB bow / stern / most deck armour. But Fusos 356mm just don't cut it most of the time Also dmg isn't everything, HE brings more utility for your teams disposal, and that's always nice to have

    Well you don't play it like a normal Fuso. Once again - go watch the video :D Normally in random battles your "default" ammo choice is AP. That's the 1st thing you'll load when the game starts, that's what you'll be firing for most of the game except some specific situations where you might switch over to HE. In raked battles it's going to be the other way around. HE becomes default, AP is for specific cases. Wouldn't be so hard to understand if you actually bothered to check it out instead of just commenting with no idea what you are talking about

    So each time you have HE loaded and there is a broadside target to you you'll just ignore it and go for someone else or switch over to AP and hope they'll still be spotted & broadside towards you 30 seconds later? Or are you going to just fire your HE at him?

    As you might have noticed (assuming you actually watched the video) I addressed this point. Just out of curiosity decided to check how have you been doing in ranked - you've never left the unskilled "bronze" ratings, just once reaching rank 15 and never going higher. So you obviously fall for exactly what I said most people fall for - you think that ranked is the same random battle just that now there are 7v7 players instead of 12v12. Once again, as I mentioned, HE Fuso is for RANKED not random battles, that's an important distinction to make. Try and play some more ranked while you still can, you should be able to get to the 10+ or even 5+ brackets depending on how much time you have. Then maybe you'll see what I mean. I'd love to have you on the enemy team bouncing your AP off of my bow whole game. Ranked and random battles have completely different playstyles with completely different reasons behind them
  16. How exactly am I supposed to deal with this? This bug has existed since I stared playing CVs and probably long LONG before that. At one random moment for a brief while or maybe even the rest of the game - doesn't f-ing matter what squad I select or what commands I try to give them, all that is going to happen is my "squad selection" resetting back to "1" a.k.a. my ship. So fun and engaging to play a CV when you can't control your aircraft, the only thing you can do is steer your ship and try to ram someone bcuz you are as useful as an AFK at that point. maybe even less useful. How about less focusing on releasing a new bs premium every few weeks and more focusing on the bugfixing part of the game?!

    If you've ever checked CV replays you'll know how bad they are, if not - I can see why you are asking for it CV replays allow you to see where players camera is pointing... and that's about it IF you manually select one or multiple squads (or the ship, as ship and planes can't be selected at the same time) you'll see their CURRENT waypoint or their CURRENT drop location You have all the control of your mouse and "alt key" in the replay meaning you don't see where the player was hovering those, you only see already confirmed clicks Also you see the waypoints only for the selected units, so, for example, if I have selected my TBs in replay I won't see my ships, fighters and DBs waypoints / attack commands What you are asking for is a live recording of a game which I don't do. A replay won't work "But YouTubers do put up CV replays..." Yeah, while manually controlling the mouse and "alt key" during the recording. Don't think that's going to work here The bug is pretty self explanatory. Click "2" to select your [fighters]? It rests back to "1" a.k.a. your ship. Click... "4" for [TBs]? Rests to "1" a.k.a. your ship. You can give orders only to your ship, can't control any of the plane squadrons. It lasts anywhere from few seconds to the whole game that is left to play

    Well, but that's the thing - in Ranked battleships tend to be bow on towards you much more. HE Fuso doesn't work in randoms, I can guarantee you that, but Ranked has completely different playstyle

    Some things just don't fit together, and this seems to be one of them Might be just nitpicking, but decreasing reward for correct play while leaving the wrong playstyle basically untouched - that's just doesn't seem like the correct way to go

    Well, not exactly. The point is - only the "playing BBs correctly" part is nerefd. If you actually go ahead and tank the damage like you should - you get less reward for it. If you sit at your max range like a typical potato - your rewards aren't going to change because you aren't tanking anyway (a.k.a. this change doesn't affect you). Lets face it - games are flooded with incompetent BBs camping as far back as they can. I see no reason to nerf those few who actually still try to do their job when playing one That's what I have a problem with.

    I'll admit that makes sense. But typing it out would remove the need for the 50 sec video. Anyway, for others checking this - it's about everyones role income type being buffed (and WG saying that all 4 classes get it buffed or aren't changed), while BBs actually get their "potential dmg" reward nerfed with nothing else compensating for the loss. Hence my That's pretty much it.

    Steven Seagal (Remove Retrain Penalty)

    You don't have to retrain captains to use them on premium ships, not the other way around. If you have a dedicated captain for a premium ship it will be playable without a penalty on that one ship and any other premium ship of the nation, just like any other captain can. Also, there's no real reason why he should be Missouri specific unless you go some very specific build that you don't use on other ships. Missouri is a premium, so even if you use Seagal on, lets say, Iowa - you can still play him in the Missouri without a penalty. Unless the nation has only premium ships (like Italy at the moment as an example) there rarely is a real reason to have a captain who's trained exactly for the premium ship instead of some in-line ship.
