Like this? And then if you skip the "how to crash" part and start from the "results screen" - like this? It's just a 1 time occurrence! Never happens! Something on your end!!!!!11!!!1!!! Our end is 110% working as intended!!!111!!!! Or something similar, whatever I was told about it...

Open waters (central part of Mountain Range) in both cases if memory serves me right those DDs were approximately 15...16km from the BB with nothing obscuring the view A bit stupid really

In before someone says that this answer "a little" salty and less helpful - OP already has clearly stated his potato mindset with his other 2 answers, just following up on that Lack of knowledge issue about how the game works is not a game issue. It's a case of "git gud". You actually can hit what you can't see if you know how to and if the enemy is stationary / slow enough. Nothing can sneak up to 4 km in clear water without getting spotted, but *khm* with those stats I wouldn't put it past you to miss a BB in front of your guns firing at you from 3km... You already play almost exclusively RN CLs, they are as sneaky and hidden as Cruisers go. And that 45% survival rate - I actually initially thought you are just another borderhuging BB. That survival rate kind of shows that you often stay back meaning that you already good concealment allows you to hide as long as you're not failing to shoot someone. At those tiers the sneakiest anyone can get is.... Kagero with 5.4km if I remember correctly? Everything else has higher detection ranges. Unless of course there is smoke or islands which you claim there were none. As I said - you noticing the ship at 4km doesn't mean he got spotted at 4km, you just failed to pay attention for at least 1.4km of his movement. And don't give me the "I look at the minimap". Not with those stats, no you don't. Even if you turn your eyes towards it - just blankly staring at it means nothing if you don't actually see what's on it. You already can hide, you just clearly don't understand how concealment works. And without replays it's just a case of "I said, you said, he said, she said, it's on the internet so it must be true". Your claims have no foundation, and you can't prove them to be true. Also "Radar Neptune" with these stats, God have mercy on his teammates souls and mental health. You really need to go back to tier 4 or lower, and actually learn to play the game before stepping up higher. Otherwise you're just another potato failing to understand the most basic concepts of the game

Would general ALT suppression help the CV cause ?

Would general "git gud" fix the noobs? -
It will probably be released AFTER not during CB

Pff, try League. Compared to that this games chat is classy gentlemen complementing each other over a glass of whiskey and cigars I'm reasonably sure to say that a good part of those comments (I'd give examples but that would get me banned here lol) come form those same kids you want to protect I don't see it as "unacceptable". Freedom of speech, you know. If you want to call your incompetent teammate incompetent - go ahead and call him incompetent. Also you choose the words how to say that one 2 kinds of people tend to be more likely to yell at others. First ones (id say the wast majority) are the absolutely incompetent ones. So incompetent, that they think it's their team dragging them down, never their fault, that they are actually too great for the game. No understanding of the game, but always blames everyone else, especially those who are actually doing something while they themselves, as always, died within the first 3 min. And then there are the Angry Competent players. Actually dragged down by their teams incompetence, actually getting angry because they just can't carry this bunch of potatoes hard enough. Of course, anybody can have a bad day or have some reason to get angry and yell at someone. TK, pushed out of the smoke by an ally, a stupid "get X kills" mission making half of your team to do nothing but KS, helplessly fighting 5 enemies solo while 8 of your allies are sitting on the other side of the map like "yeah, we conquered this corner! You see any enemies here? Me neither, because we conquered it! Lets make sure it stays ours by never moving ever again!"... And that is why we have a chatban system that can and will give you a 24h chatban just for saying "Hi" in the chat

I think there was something like "the loudest at 2km or less" and "most silent at 5...6km" - so I guess you have to be that close to hear it Can't wait for someone to make a song with those horns
-
That's not the point. With manual drops of CVs of tier 6 and up I could have at least tried to still hit the Leander in smoke, with tier 4 or 5 CV there is no such chance to do so. Also Cruisers mobility has very little to do with this - without dropping those torps in an X even most BBs you meet at hose tiers (I think it's pretty much all except the ling IJN BBs?) turn quickly enough to dodge almost all if not all torps. X is the only way to reliably hit someone, and even then you'll struggle with DDs, won't reliably get more than 2...3 torps on a target AND can run into some bugs screwing you over

1. As I said there were 3 ships in the cap + the ships who never made it to there. As I said, we dealt with Nurnberg and Warspite 1st, Leander was the last to arrive 2. Again as I said - his 1st smoke timed out before he capped, but I couldn't kill him, and he was still capping while my planes re-armed + smoked up when they were coming back into the range to deal with him, this time the smoke length was enough. 3. What is any random teammate doing? Stupid decisions and bad ideas sum up at least 90% of random teammates. It's almost like you didn't actually read the post. I didn't say that the win wasn't deserved I said that THE WAY HOW they got the win was absolute bs. Not a single chance to do anything about him while he is in smoke, that's something unique to ONLY t4 and t5 CVs Every ship in the game except for those 4 has the ability to fire / drop into a smoke to have a chance of resetting the caper.

Have you play T7 CV yet? no? good!!! you just save your WR
wilkatis_LV replied to Hiro_016's topic in General Discussion
Let me fix that for you Really didn't have that much of a problem at t7: Enjoy the good MM while you have it, next time you'll be top tier this often will be at tier 10- 34 replies
-
If people will be fine with paying 100eur per camo - sure they will release them
-
There is no skill based MM, but the average WR difference between the teams usually is just a couple of % (2...4% usually) The most common Team make-up is 1...3 good players (above 53% WR), 1...2 average players, and 7...10 "bad" (below 47% WR) players - but keep in mind that's no official statistics or anything, that's just what I've tracked. If the skill difference is really wide between both teams - those games tend to be the rare-ish 6...7min one way stomps that you see every now and then Also getting 10 losses in a row aren't exactly your team always being bad, it's just an unlucky strike. Sometimes you get lucky and win a lot, sometimes (as in this case) the opposite happens. The overall average in the long run is what matters, that's what shows how you are performing

Go with the upgrade, give yourself more time to learn manual drops and strafing. At tier 7 you'll have to fight ships like Saipan, the more experience you have, the better your chances not to get annihilated.

Textbook case of "expect the unexpected"

Seeing how you had to dig-up a year old post I'd say no, at least not now

Orion is very different from others I'd say. I really dislike the idea of that 75-ish mm HE pen at tier 4. It's just far too much. The tier 3 & 4 should have the normal /6 pen, the /4 should start no sooner than at the Duke giving it at least some major difference from the Orion. As a short sum up - Duke is more or less that same Orion with severely worse MM, QE (as I've been told by many) is rather similar to Warspite (surprise surprise, who would have seen that one coming), and then from tier 7 up... well, I'd say they fit the description of a battlecruiser more than of a battleship. You do have BB guns (altho they tend to be on the smaller side when compared with others of the same tier), but they lack the BBs armour getting improved mobility instead. Similarly to cruisers they drift a lot while turning, especially KGV (that's from anecdotal experience not tests). Not quite a Scharnhorst or Amagi, but closer to them than to something like a Bismark.
-
Oh yeah, I always do adjust the drop angles, especially for those derpy moments when planes kind of go for the drop but then the game decides that they should actually drop from the other side manually adjusting them gives me at least somewhat better chance

To be fair I'm far more scared of a Conq I'm facing if he's using AP against me rather than HE. Those engagements tend to end much worse for whatever I'm playing I'd say that that's kind of a thing - checking them with "MM Monitor" those really high average dmg Conqs often just fire HE at other BBs and farm large dmg numbers while not really contributing to their teams needs, meanwhile those with not so flashy average dmg tend to be those who swap around their amo depending on situation, use sAP for cruisers and actually engage DDs Of course not all, but that seems to be kind of a trend for a good amount of players. Funny how lower average dmg can sometimes be more impactful for the games outcome, I guess that's the point where just statistics don't tell you the whole story Well, the whole line has very derpy guns at range, as well as increase in distance increases the chance of them getting citadelled but then again I do agree that the overall armour profile, at least up to Monarch where you don't have the superheal does encourage playing more conservative instead of going ahead and tanking hits for your team

Mods - feel free to move this to which ever section fits better, it's just that gameplay is probably the most read section so I'm most likely to hear from others if this an issue just at my end or they experience it too As the title says - the hell is the point of that triangle if it drags the field bigger, but the "writing zone" in it stays exactly the same size as it was? This has been bugging me (no pun intended) for quite a while now. It this just a bug that noone has noticed / never bothered to report? Not sure if it's appropriate or not in a situation like this, but I'll tag @MrConway and @Tuccy as you seem to be in forums every now and then? If this actually is something more widespread than just at my end maybe you can pass it along to the IT guys or whoever is working on things like this, they've had enough rest since the last hamster uprising
-
That's the sad part of it Altho you could get rid of that by always playing tier 8+ CV yourself
-
I mean, it shows how much I played the Bogue after the manual attack removal if most of my games were before that and I unlocked my Independence just a couple of weeks ago Have played 15 games so far, and I have to admit - compared to Ryujo I just don't feel like she's all too useful. In almost every situation I see that I'd be doing more if I had picked Ryujo instead of her, but that could be just because I already was so used to IJN CVs

WG fix [edited]BB AP against DDs already
wilkatis_LV replied to ClappingLollies's topic in General Discussion
Oh, definitely Didn't play yesterday so... must have been like 2 days ago. 15-ish km shot with the Amagi on a stern on Gearing who's moving away from me and maneuvering a bit to dodge incoming fire from a cruiser near him, 4 pens for almost 17k dmg, almost felt sorry for him -
This is good news, thank you! It's bad only when my team does it, I don't mind the enemy CV autodroping my allies & me
-
Exactly why I asked. Thanks! I'll just look for the problem on my end then, if anyone has any suggestions what it could be - that would be appreciated
